idk, traps are like a backup if shit hits the fan, unless you bring like 10 traps, then its godlike. The slow when hit in the legs pretty much does the same effect with additional damage if you look at the time it takes for a lot of people to get in range. Also the slow is effective while chasing. As i always say: playstyle dictates how good something is
Of course there are objective truths, some things are better, but i've managed 1v2s as ranger and it wasnt as difficult as rogue or fighter.
Imo wizards feel like they are outdated, playing against them feels like the old gameplay, wich is cool in a way, dodging and weaving projectiles and shit is more fun than having a seizure while gap closing for 2 minutes

Can't say I like that a lot of the quest are locked to Goblin caves. It's not the caves themselves its the being forced to play solo. I can't say that I really care for this game solo. Have you played during december/january? the whole trade system was basically a simulated crypto scam with shitcoins (cookies) and bitcoin (Keys) while gold became irrelevant for a while going from 500-600 gold/ingot down to like 200-230 gold. I learned trading in school, and currencies can come and go with their price and yes you can totally make profit by just trading in dark and darker. Nowadays its a lot slower, due to Trade hub getting killed in favor of the marketplace, but there are quite a lot of tactics to make quick money without negatively impacting others. Most just buy the random item thats worth 3x the amount it was put up for and sell it for 2/3 of its worth so they dont have to hold items for long

Increase the number of monsters, reduce the reward in HR, reduce the crawling speed by 70%, not as reported from 315 speed reduced to 160 while crawling, quest requires earning each type of blue bangle before reducing the reward rate. If you can't do it, you'll continue to nerf the rewards. Purple bangles and above won't count, but blue will be required. Game really make for dog play now , all focus on nerf the Rogue and buff the Ranger

Yes it is technically an update, but I think what @twin spear is trying to say is that this particular update is not really intentional and therefore pretty out of the control of the devs in the sense of scheduling it. They are fixing some emergency flaw that they have found which breaks the game in some way. They stated it has something to do with login so I assume security maybe? Or some character related issue? Dunno, but the main point being that they did not INTENTIONALLY do a second update today.

As someone who was mostly playing normals before and was a lil intimidated by putting together kits and what not, right now seems super easy and nice. once affinity is reached for certain gear it will be available in squire

if you type in the search bar "Alienware Update" it should bring you to that tool

This mechanic should be DISABLED in 2v2s/3v3s until a solution that requires EVERYONE to be dead for it to be active. It is unhealthy, screws over streamers, and gives information about what someone has, their stats, spells, etc.

Lobby inspecting - that is PLANNED to be removed, but it's been over a month since that was mentioned and it is still ruining some people's experiences. Disable inspecting and just use that as a band-aid fix to a big problem for many people.

These are BAND-AID solutions to problems that are CURRENTLY happening while a BETTER solution is being made. Development is all about prioritization, I get that, stuff takes a long time to get right.

However, ignoring how negative these mechanics can make interactions is not the way to go.

A while back when talk of a deathcam was still swimming around the suggestion channel, I said basically the same thing. I love the deathcam, it has told me how I died when I had no idea. But any information that can be passed to living teammates may in some situations make a difference. It could be argued with good reason that a dead player should not be able to help their team until they are revived, but given its impossible to police what is communicated then the only solution to that perceived problem is to limit the information the dead player has until it cannot be used to gain an advantage

curse mastery is useful for Curse of Weakness, using Power of Sacrifice as a buff, and getting more healing out of Torture Mastery
it also has the interesting effect of technically applying a different status effect, so a Curse Mastery warlock and a normal warlock can both curse the same target

i agree with you that warlock was busted but these nerfs it just got lowered its melee potential by a ton

but you still have your armor movespeed penalties
so unless you use demon armor you are a very squishy demon to have good movespeed
+10 agi doesnt really add all that much movespeed either
at most its +10 movespeed
also people really overestimate demon forms melee damage

which is why my proposed balance for the mechanic would be
-creep is limited to being active only while wearing armor of the type cloth
-rogues perk allows for use of leather armor type
these two simple changes would allow any class the stealth playstyle but force them to give up tankiness
and allow for rogue to have the advantage in stealth
to put that in perspective only 1 pair of boots is cloth type

when you use a learning token (this is based on current knowledge but could change)
you can pick the class you want to learn from (if its level 30)
and you get to choose 1 of 3 random options (from the class you chose)
if you choose the class master thats there by default it will draw from all classes making getting what you want more random

Yeah that’s what I’ve read/heard. It just sounds so bad cuz it means you could potentially get lvl 100 and still not get the perk you wanted. May as well delete char and try again at that point

so i imagine earning them is limitless and the exp for each level after 20 is the same per level so deleting wouldnt be the way to go at all

Why do people always bring in so many heals? I killed someone and half their inventory was health potions and bandages. Most people I spectate or see in the lobby do this too, I've always wondered the reasoning behind it

The game is in a rough spot. Movement speed is the dominant meta. Why lose a fight when you can run away close a door and fully reset to come back and harass again. Deathcam needs to be tweaked. Currently makes 1 verses 2,3 much harder because the team can instantly get information from the killcam. Health gear lvl, teamates, your in game name so if your a streamer you will be easily streamed sniped. And then on top of that they’re going to release multi classes where things are going to get out of hand fast.
