This game has quests, with merchants wanting materials (anywhere from one to fifteen) on a 3% or so drop rate. Some of these enemies don't show up outside of specific maps, or there are only like three or four on each map if they are on more than one of them. Gold, for instance, only shows up in ruins, and very rarely outside of high roller. Enchanted Fabric shows up on skeleton mages, which show up on every map, but no more than like 4 or 5 at most. Demon centaurs, demon bats, and demon berserkers only show up in inferno, the third floor of ruins.

if the pve is killing you, play a cleric. Perseverance and Protection from Evil cut down on the poison damage a lot, and the spider venom only lasts half as long.

If its the pvp killing you, well, I can't help you there. Classes are unbalanced and clerics are on the lower end of the pvp chart due to lack of ranged options.

You make great points and I don't really disagree with you. I am curious how end of wipe affects this and the lobbies. Like, if it was fresh wipe would the lobbies be full even with choice? I think ultimately choice is the correct way especially since quests dictate map selection too, but if the player base isn't enough and makes for 10-30%full lobbies then that isn't okay either. With that said, Solos could be always choose and duo /trio could alternate forced rotation as player count changes throughout wipe. I feel like that's the best compromise and IM is already close to doing that with the new system, just revert solo to choose.

I've also noticed with the marketplace if you use two filters or more you can no longer view the next page of listings, so you can only see the first page (that's already all been sold out). There's no way to refresh this one page either! Neat!

Idk why they didn't do this explanation for you guys but here: Ironmace isn't 100% sure how to fix the duplications going on with the market. So they implemented the market, it has more dupes, so instead of taking it down again, they instituted another patch that allows them to collect more accurate data to track how the dupes are happening/how to improve the marketplace. It's the only way for them to accurately test how people are duping/discover all the ways and patch them. Once they have enough data, they will then patch the game again and rollback to before the duping with the newly implemented market. This is COMPLETELY NECESSARY to fix this stuff; as they CAN'T SIMULATE thousands of people using the market at once in-house. We are TESTING it for them.

So unless you want to bugtest and report bugs, just take a break today and return after the rollback.
Stop asking "when rollback" because no one knows at the moment and that's up to Ironmace when they have the data they need.

If you login to the game and go to invite someone to your party, it shows playercount at the top of the screen. I was looking at playercounts prior to the patch and talking with friends about the 6k playercount. Then the same day the market patch hit, I checked to see and it was 20k. No screenshots unfortunately, you'll just have to take my word for it.

The 4 impact resist will make the riposte after parrying the impact 3 weapons as tight as parrying a rapier/dagger before the perk and make parrying a rapier/dagger the same as parrying another longsword riposte. Which is an insanely short window roughly .5s and .25s if I remember correctly. At least close to these.] I've been begging for them to fix the longsword for a year and this is what we get... This map thing doesnt make any sense to me. Lets say i want to play solos but i have a quest to kill Skeletons and ruins is the best place to do that. I cant get in that map unless i solo que it and then go against a full party.... I actually really like ice caverns but sometime my Buddy and i duo and he likes Goblin caves for the way it plays out. So now we cant play that unless we get lucky with map rotation. Just let us pick the maps we want to play. For those that are saying the AP farm is bad or PVP is non existent with that, choosing your maps is great for that stuff. I was able to PVP anytime i wanted to if i went to ruins. (died everytime, but im still learning) I dont really care about AP personally. Though i feel like right now people are getting enough of it. PVE is also dirty easy, the mob density got cut to nearly 1/5th of what it used to be on most modules, caves have rooms which used to have 17 mobs now with 5 goblins and 2 bats.

I want to play the game fully. I want to complete quests, get loot, Kill bosses, and fight other adventueres. You're competitive and super salty over dying, you're as sweaty as it gets. Someone being better, or even not being better but just not wanting to be on actually empty maps just prompts you to calling them sweat while you're a overcompetitive little thing that can't handle loss, so you want empty maps to meander around.

Tarkov queue takes AGES to fill because they force people to sit and wait until a lobby is actually full, its why there's queues that literally last 25-40 minutes at points, and even on the quickest hours of the quickest days on early wipe its sitll 10-15minutes of queue time. For DaD to split their queue will just mean empty lobbies, just like it did on the last few days, and their stats showed it, and thus they reverted it, specially from the bad results it had on total player population.

Every time ironmace follows on feedback they kill the game a little bit more and instantly start to revert the changes.

The only way you're getting a inventory with 6+ blue treasures its on a empty lobby, full solo caves means 8 spawns for 9 modules, with only 6 escapes and some of those will probably be lost, with a 150 luck roll you aren't very likely to get more than 3 blue treasures from any singular room, gladly blue equipment is now worth 6gold, and thus 6ap per slot, and blue items 10gold/ap per slot.

It has been since playtest releases, if you didnt want to pvp then u had to be defensive and ellusive, theyve killed lobby sizes and incentivized solos to be an AP grind fest. You might like this but the game will die going this route. And i know at least half the player base likes this... but it will kill the game.. PVE gets stale, theres no future to this game if thats its focus. The heart and soul of this game is a challange to get out with loot due to high pvp, get rid of the challenge and who cares if u got good loot, it carries less meaning. This wipe has had the least player retention and its also the wipe that introduced AP system

Idk why they didn't do this explanation for you guys but here: Ironmace isn't 100% sure how to fix the duplications going on with the market. So they implemented the market, it has more dupes, so instead of taking it down again, they instituted another patch that allows them to collect more accurate data to track how the dupes are happening/how to improve the marketplace. It's the only way for them to accurately test how people are duping/discover all the ways and patch them. Once they have enough data, they will then patch the game again and rollback to before the duping with the newly implemented market. This is COMPLETELY NECESSARY to fix this stuff; as they CAN'T SIMULATE thousands of people using the market at once in-house. We are TESTING it for them.

So unless you want to bugtest and report bugs, just take a break today and return after the rollback.
Stop asking "when rollback" because no one knows at the moment and that's up to Ironmace when they have the data they need.

The longer I played, the better it became and I absolutely loved how hard it was to get good gear because it proposed a challenge. A challenge that I believe many of us enjoyed and wish for. Instead of going through my history of the game, I'm only going to say that right now, the development team needs to slow down. You said that there is a holiday in korea so there is only three people in the office. If that is the case then why are you sending out patches? Nobody is in a rush except you guys. Just give us the ability to choose what maps we want to play and work on bug fixes and repairing the servers or whatever for like a month or so. You can always extend the wipe for a couple weeks and I doubt anyone's going to cry over it. The patch you pushed out yesterday absolutely destroyed the game as you literally cannot play the maps you want to play. I have to wait around 2-3 hrs just to play ruins duos. I would have no problem with ice caverns if it wasn't filled with cities of AI but as of now the game is in a state where a lot of people aren't going to want to play. I personally am gonna keep going out in the dungeons and absolutely clap up people and have fun but please figure this out so we can have a great game we can all enjoy.

I want to have an opportunity to play maps with desired group size more frequently and also some basic quest item drop should be increased by 1-2%, for example bones from skeletons or goblin ears. Idk why they didn't do this explanation for you guys but here: Ironmace isn't 100% sure how to fix the duplications going on with the market. So they implemented the market, it has more dupes, so instead of taking it down again, they instituted another patch that allows them to collect more accurate data to track how the dupes are happening/how to improve the marketplace. It's the only way for them to accurately test how people are duping/discover all the ways and patch them. Once they have enough data, they will then patch the game again and rollback to before the duping with the newly implemented market. This is COMPLETELY NECESSARY to fix this stuff; as they CAN'T SIMULATE thousands of people using the market at once in-house. We are TESTING it for them.

So unless you want to bugtest and report bugs, just take a break today and return after the rollback.
Stop asking "when rollback" because no one knows at the moment and that's up to Ironmace when they have the data they need.

its not neccesarily having to deal with people thats the problem. its the constant changes at the last month of season to actively make it harder to grind ap in solos. increasing ruins ap cost/nerfing portal spawns/forced maps. It is significantly harder to grind ap than it was 3 weeks ago. i just dont understand why at the end of the season IM decided to implement all these changes to the ranking system. The ranking system is dogwater in the first place. It is still not worth risking ap cost for pvp as long as you lose ap for dieing to a player its never worth taking the risk in the first place. and the mmr just doesnt make sense. why am i in exemplar constantly being paired with pathfinders that are not trying to climb rating and just play battle royale. i do not want to play the extraction/looter part of the game with the people only playing battle royale.

And the portals you do get you dont know if your gonna be on the right floor for them, feels like a chance for you to die at the end waiting for a portal because you 50/50'd wrong

How is it a garbage take, the game has dropped playercount massively, they make a massive upgrade to the trading system and a force wipe will encourage playercount to rise while also encouraging more creative builds from early-late game

The game isn't based around the marketplace, there is a season with 10 days left in it, which I'm not sure you're even aware of as it sounds like you don't even play the game. It's selfish to think they'll wipe the servers mid season because you want them to.
