I dont even use hide anymore, shadows in game are enough, I use Caltrops and Smoke Screen with the Picklock Perk, Trap Disable/Detection Perk, Double Jump Perk and Toolbelt Items dont show Perk and I am just ultimate utility and mobility, I stay in shadows and ambush and if revealed or turned on I used a mixture of double jump, smoke screen and caltrops to sow confusion and escape, great for helping an allied fighter close on the enemy rangers as well since the smoke provides some cover

Its super fun, you become the ultimate looter and in fights you provide some utility since the slow on smoke screen only applies to enemies and the caltrops can make an enemy fighter/barbarian slowed a fuckton for allies to take them down with ease, extract with plenty of loot all the time, and as long as you know how to use a rapier worth a shit you deal ok damage to make you enough of a threat to a backliner that the enemies cant just ignore you, but you can just escape which gives teammates plenty of time to do stuff while the enemies are busy meandering about trying to kill you and protect their little rangers, plus with the ability to hide better then most in those situations where portals are scarce its easy to let allies get through and try to find a way, if not just let your friends have the super valuables to give to you another day. The Trap detection/disable is just nice cause you can run through complete darkness and everything just lights up, for someone who likes to 420 blaze it I require such a feature(where is my emote that lets me smoke a giant weed pipe while my eyes become glow in the dark red Ironmace), and just being able to turn off certain traps to access parts of the dungeon more easily is nice. It just feels more actual rogue like.

Not being able to spectate in high roller makes it easier for hackers to cheat in highroller. If your team wipes then you should be able to spectate surviving players. If teaming on high roller happens then it should be banned anyways.

Yeah i actually enjoyed some solo crypts earlier but the solo pve there gets pretty intense for me haha. Me and a rogue were both pretty occupied with pve so we just ignored each other and he let me pvp this other guy in peace. I then tried to have a honourable longsword duel with a bro i saw in the lobby but turned out it was a different guy and just blasted me with crossbow and spear lmao. This game is great

Alright. Let's suppose a player like me. I main cleric, and I usually go solo, but in lobbies of duos and trios, especially the crypt. I know for a fact, that some players are going to fall to PvE, and even if no one dies to PvE, you still have enough stairs, and enough portals, for absolutely everyone to escape, especially when you account for the portals in inferno. Thus, if everyone can successfully extract, that means, that it is usually meaningless to fight. After all, the game isn't to murderhobo each other, the game is to extract. Thus, why would I want to fight someone? I don't like doing it, and even if I successfully kill someone, I don't really feel good about it. Thus, if I meet another player, with similar mind set, we would team, and herd together, as there is safety in numbers against those, that would want to kill anyone on sight. Should I be banned?

Teaming, by itself, shouldn't be bannable. It is open to anyone that gets in dungeon. The issue is having premades that cover the entire match(teams higher than the squad limit).

Rotating maps is the best thing to ever happen to the game if you are a solo player, if you religiously played trio crypts it is the worst change ever, duos are somewhere in the middle idrk tbh - OVERALL HOWEVER, I think this is a really good change because no matter your group size you can have a fair experience on EVERY map - as to issues with quests taking 3x times as long, Im sure the devs will fix such problems by making quests 3x easier on map specific goals, idk , @graceful storm I team 24/7 with people, never been banned because I dont premeditate it with people, it is 100% condoned behavior

Yo wizard is at its absolute crappiest state, if you can’t win a duel at even gear then that is just a skill gap. At even gear, wizard is losing all matchups. If gear is uneven, well, then theres your answer, gear better.

I would watch some streams to learn where you can improve. Or play wizard and when you die to barbs, learn how they killed you and try to replicate it. Overall, just keep practicing. Ive died to enough barbs/rogues that I know it is very possible to kill them.

Neither are correct because there is consistantly around 10k players and you only need max 15-16 to fill a lobby. If the lobbies are empty it means there wasnt that much demand for that map and that team size. Thats what they are determining now w/ the rotation but it punishes the players in the proccess by removing their CHOICE of where, when and what to play. Solo maps are awesome and i wanted them too, but not at the cost of my ability to decide if i want to do certain things at certain times.
The attempt to appeal to solo/duo players by letting them have "fair chances" on all maps hurts other players who have been now told what to play. Top players would rather not lose AP casue its tied to trios and not maps anymore so they arent playing.

Crypts is actually the most balanced, and was the original map for the game - Ruins and GC have some major flaws.

Ruins is too much open space so ranged is op, as well as the ability to climb up walls with double jump make it imbalanced a lot of the time

GC is high mob density with cramped modules, which can make rundowns very powerful

Depends if its a pdr fighter or no.For both builds +add magic damage then + true magic damage.
If going crystal sword: Then movespeed then vigor then agi then dex
If going falchion or halberd or whatever you like: Then strength then vigor then agi then dex

Both things will still do less boc damage that just using a magic staff, even without stacking the + magic damage

AI and enemy placement needs to be fixed man this is ridiculous. Honestly how are you supposed to dodge a black skeleton archer, a red skeleton archer, 3 red spiders and a red spear skeleton all at the same time? Cus when you take 2 steps into a room and that entire little party of enemies attacks you can either cheese it or just AOE them with cleric but thats about it, if you don't have access to those options its legit just uncontrollable chaos.

You can run them in circles and maybe jab at the melee mobs once every 7 seconds but you can't leave without taking damage (spiders) and you can't dodge melee mobs while being attacked by ranged mobs (overlapping attack patterns)

adding onto the last thing I said: even high-roller hell doesn't have mob placement that bad, the scariest thing you'll find there is some demon bats or the centaur and berserker that spawn next to each other, that's it, the whole map is a slow trudge where you only have to fight 1-3 enemies at a time (only ever 1 at a time if ur a ranger)

its just strange, Goblin Caves only has 2-3 difficult rooms and the rest is easy-peasy, ruins is debatable more ruthless with mob-spawns than crypts and crypts is 50% so-easy-its-boring and 50% straight-up unfair

Goblin Caves has the most spread-out doors in the world, ruins doors are mostly optional and hell doors are unbreakable, crypts have breakable doors all over the place and a million choke points

Yea that’s how you get good at pvp in this game you don’t want a fair fight you want an edge at all times and if you don’t have an advantage don’t fight you have to learn to pick and choose fights and how to disengage fights that aren’t favorable to get good at pvp

It’s not about one shotting I rarely run into people that can one shot me and I’m a warlock it’s about favorable fights you can’t always expect to win an unfavorable fight and it is very rewarding once you start killing highly geared players

I do barbs are a pain to deal with and every time I step into a trap I’m not mad at the Ranger I’m mad at myself because I should’ve known and now the fight is in his favor he planned a trap smart play by him

If you see a ranger expect a trap and you can’t place traps in dead bodies anymore it doesn’t let you. You can sit in discord all day and complain you died or you can learn from your mistakes and get better at pvp and not make the same mistakes again it’s all about learning how to make the fight one sided for you get a fair fight out of your head

A lot of them that will jump on fighter that way are running weak point and sometimes thrust as well. Just instantly get a small gap, pop second wind and continue W keying the rogue. It should tip the scales in your favor most of the time if you don't take too much damage in the opener. reset immediately afterwards.

Important not to let the rogue separate too far from you because if he does he will just kite second wind and reset his stealth for another go.

Movement speed is clearly the most problematic stat left in the game. I would say tweak armor reduction values, cloth and leather shouldn't be weighing rogues down to the point they'd rather be naked. Maybe add a bottom end limit too, like how crouching is always 70-75% speed maybe make even the heaviest fighter only move at some % so that kiting and the difference between geared rogue and everyone else isn't super hero status

He means low impact power weapons like daggers or torches being harder to riposte since the riposte window is dependent on how much you’ve been staggered by the weapon I think. And daggers have like 1 impact power so the window to riposte small

your buff spells like invis and haste can affect corpses, make sure youre not aiming at anything you dont want to buff to make sure it buffs yourself
