You can. I’ve gotten multiple legendaries from him in normals. That cape was floor loot and I only used it as an example because it was the most recent one. It’s a low chance, but happens often enough. Just like legendaries drop from the normal hell bosses.

Its smart to take a break, the only thing that will really make them listen. Some of us play 2-3 hours at night and don't want to spend that time ratting around or sitting in trade to make sets. We want to group up with our buddies and run dungeons without getting one shot constantly while we try to build sets. There were BIS blues before and its never going to be perfect, but it was better than this.

i was grinding for blues to have fun but the naked rouges and rangers i have to deal with, sometimes people get lucky and get kills but theyre also profiting majorly taking in almost no loot and coming out with gold ore and a locked chest or two then using that movespeed to pick a tactical place to hide near the circle's end. it's just rouges galore.

but yes the past few days with the gear limitation i was able to have lots of matches where others were wearing mixes of greens/blues. then it became most profitable to kill other players and looting felt pointless but it was a step in the right direction

i could go in every round as rouge or ranger with a pickax and a 50gp weapon and ill be risking 75 gp for a potential huge gain while someone elses wears mix of blues and greens that they spent money on and if i catch them at the wrong moment i can steal all they risked with almost no risk on my part

I think bard needs a proper rework, Giving him spell capacity was a step in the right direction, but with nerf after nerf I believe a proper adjustment to how the class works functionally is in order.

Bard is a stat stick, his buffs making up for the lost gear rating/scaling that you might have, and it results in him being a necessity at high teir (Not even talking about wanderers luck ( Double double parentheses, with unchained harmony costing 5 now why does this not trigger your current luck???))

I believe moving his focus into more interesting/creative use songs as well as a buff to his current skills would result in him being a lot more interesting in my opinion. I would like for the class to give us more options / avenues to play with compared to stat buffs, allowing him to highlight footsteps in an aoe as he walks, or a spell that would rather than increasing the teams damage reduction/magic reduction for the duration of 2 minutes, make it a mid-fight skill that has a cooldown, shielding 25 health that was recoverable for 3 second

You actually have to get into their face. There is hydra, light orb and just bumping rogues out of stealth. Lose a perk slot just to enable them to stealth as long as any other class can with potions. Rogues are made of glass. If you run through the game with reckless abandon and a rogue gets to open up on your face then you deserve to die. If I piss around and run into a ranger trap then you should die. If you play fencer vs a barb and eat his maul to the head you shud die. If you run headfirst into a team thats 2/3 and ignore that there might be a third positioned for you, then thats entirely on you.

due to this, as gear diff becomes more pronounced, the casual base of this game becomes more like fodder, who exist just to die to better gear. this is why the casual playerbase is becoming nonexistent, because the current design of the game is essentially CoD zombies where most of the playbase is the zombies.

the issues go away if the circle is removed... then suddenly high priority looting sites on the map gravitate the geared players. low priority looting sites will gravitate less geared players. this would be more organic gameplay, where the high risk players fight together for the big loot, and the lower risk players fight together for the worse loot. then the gameplay loop doesn't just consist of high risk players steamrolling low risk players because the circle pushed them together. players in a game like this need control over how much they want to risk and fight, it can't just be forced on them. forcing different gear types to fight fundamentally cannot work when gear is such a deciding factor of the fight.

Just watched the video. My suggestion is slightly different than what he suggests in the video. Accounts should be "region checked" upon signup, to save in a reference table for later. If a server with 15 people has >8 with the differing signup regions than what they are playing, and there is currently not an override in place because of regions being down, then that game should end abruptly and everyone just gets their gear back 2 minutes in. That's a time sink for gold farmers that doesn't require IM to do all these other real time checks and third party seller checks for accounts

From what I can tell, it is a bit harder for new people to get into the game with all of the heavy geared purple teams running around in normal dungeons. It makes it hard for players to get into the game and really want to stick with it.

Suggesting a free weekend in Novemeber wipe to draw in new players around the new year. Average of 30k players has dropped down to averaging 6k to 7k player. My numbers could be wrong, but it has been what I noticed.

Lastly, I think testing an attunement allotment to purple items on your gear for normals might be a worth while approach. One, or two pieces of purple gear allowed to start with.. able to wear what is found. Potentially 3 pieces. This would help fill that gap of full purple players, blue gears, ungeared newbies.

whats crazy is Runescape had this exact problem of chinese farmers so they started selling these things called bonds that gave you memberships in game that you could trade with other players for in game money. this DEVASTED the gold market and made it impossible for miners to make profit.
