why projectile resistance nerf the perk is now even more dead than before, also no elemental bolt nerf and no bear druid hp/pdr nerf???? also if you gonna nerf the riposte atleast buff the m1 so it does not do chip damage, I need to hit squire sorcerer 4 times while they need to do one melee range elemental bolt then 1 stab or spell to fully finish the fight, how on earth is that balanced????

I would like to see water map be made an temporary map for special events and taken out of the rotation. Generally the community seems against the map due to all the unfairness the water creates to certain spells/skills

the sq mode is really bad for rouges the storm deals zo much dammage its not playbel. if there is 3 teams fighting for the portals you hope they leave you alone other wise evry body is dead

Have the crows attack players after sitting on the perimeter edge of the bridge room in ruins for more than 10 seconds or so. That way rangers with windless cant sit in the dark and wait for you to stand still and instantly kill you while youre opening the red.
There should be more red stairs, two per map is asking for camping, and the rangers can just slowly crouch walk back and forth and still be silent because you need to be within like 15m to hear them.
But also that change would make sitting at campfires impossible near red stairs
2 reds is honestly fine imo to promote POIs players have to fight over. My issue is that there is no fight when the ledge in bridge room has perfect line of sight and you're forced to stand still for them. its one thing if i get unlucky and they are there at the right time and i die, its whatever, but when they can sit still and wait for you with no risk to them its inot very fun.
I guess the risk is they waste their time, they could be getting loot but instead hope the players they catch are worth more gold per hour than anything else. You can chop trees on the outskirts of the map for like 10k+ an hour.

I'm also fine with two reds, funneling players to POIs is fine, the issue is I dont think there should be a mechanic to stop camping or ambush strats. If there were more than 2 reds it wouldn't be a 50/50 shot that they camped the right one it would be 1/4 1/6 ect

dude its not an ambush strat, its ruining the game. how is it fun for anyone to lose all your stuff like that and theres nothing you can do. other than spend 10 minutes checking every adjecent room and dark hiding spot before you open the gate. and clearly its not a waste of time if there is no risk to them losing there stuff and they have then opportunity to 1 tap most players. every if it only works 1/3 raids its gonna make money, its just cringe

It is an ambush strat, it's rat play. Classic for looter shooter extraction games. Hide Rogues apply that strat to many POIs I saw a rogue hiding in the key room on watermap the other day waiting for a victim, he was the only one in the game left 
The gates aren't open anymore for a similar reason, rats/crows would scoop loot and head for a red/blue.
so for instance lets say you were running an artifact and some "rat" kills you like that. no counter play theres nothing you can do. youre fine with that? so why they do we have crows that attack you when you go to the lookout after killing the golem and hitting the lever? because its not very fun when someone can just drop onto your head and kill you like that theres no counter play

100% on board with red portals it was a cool feature and would help a lot with the camping issue since they are random. plus you would get into more organic and interesting fights in new rooms instead of the same modules over and over at the statics

Spell deselect was pretty poorly implemented. I saw a suggestion that it should instead be placed at the center of wheel, press and release ‘e’ with no mouse input to deselect. Much better than having to hold e and then q to then press mouse wheel to be able to swing and block all while being run down or in the middle of a teleport. I’d rather leave an empty spell slot at this point it’s more intuitive. Also not being able to change the key bind is an oversight.
I think its better to just have a separate button for blocking. Center of the wheel will probably cause some unwanted deselects

How about reworking agility into being the ranged damage stat? Move Speed Would be based on gear at that rate, easier to balance kiting. And ranger wouldn't double dip in melee, other classes would be a bit weaker at range without investment too

Not gonna lie, I liked the feeling of 50% action speed from shield mastery counting for reposts. If there was a way to add that in even if it was a seprate perk and did like 30% instead thats ok. I personally feel like it encouraged me to use more weapons and allowed for different playstyles.
Since Sorcerer had one of their perks just built into the class, I think every class could have one perk just built into them.

There’s spell memory, which gives strict 5 extra spell slots, so mages can use 10 spells in total, while physical classes are stuck with just two abilities.
I think having more options is a good thing for this game— the parry mechanic available for every weapon is a perfect example of that.
At the same time, classes should have more diverse mechanics. I don’t like that all spell wheels have the same number of slots. Wizards, for example, should obviously have more. Instead of just adding a perk that increases spell wheel slots, I think the game should introduce entirely new spell wheels, cantrip wheels and skill wheels.
Maybe one class could have three abilities, while another relies only on a spell wheel with four spells?

arena ideas or additional game mode ideas, add a system to generate income, the main idea i am hearing is for each team to bet an amount exp. 50 gold 500 gold 2500 gold and whoever wins would claim the prize exp 100 gold 1000 gold 5000 gold making arena available all week excluding maintenance and allowing player to bet their hard earned gold for a handsome prize
since gold isn't an actually digital purchase besides rmt it would be legal in most places too because its not real gambling
and rmt would then be illegal in most places as well
make more skins for weapons and armor that have reactive cool animations when we use them. also make killing animations like a soul leaving the body. would be a cool consent for us to buy and support the game.
Multi-class has the issue of too many variables but also spells being tied to the random choices, sub-classes would be way more controlled choice without giving a class like barb victory strike which would obliterate any balance
Here's what I propose, subclass variants; these would have the stats and innate abilities of some other classes applied to another class.
examples
spellsword fighter - + 3 knowledge and will, -2 dex, vigor, and strength. has the spell option and a set of spells from sorc and wiz
Martial Sorcerer - +3 vig +2 strength +1 dex, spell casting speed for spells like galaciate, stone skin, and other melee spells buffed, cast speed for ranged spells lessened, can wear heavier armor like light gauntlets.
Elemental wizard - can cast spells from sorcerer, +2 to vigor -2 to knowledge.
these are just spitballs but i think it would be a good starting line

Hi, is it just me or anyone else the moment they made craftable gear with hidden random stats. They stopped carrying about crafting quests. And just bought gear instead? I mean why risk materials when you can just buy decent gear...

I get what you're saying, I just don't agree with it, I personally think the idea of anything being BIS is a problem with multi-player games. Finding the meta has got the be the worst thing for games with any room for competition.
Like pokemon, why use anything other than like the top 10 best base Stat pokemon - all with the absolute perfect i.v.s and shit. Obviously, you can still win with whatever if you're skilled or lucky, just like this game, but so many people just care about the best, not wasting time, not experimenting or taking risks

About locking the boss rooms, what benefit does that provide?
People won't open the boss door and shoot arrows or spells at you while you do it because they can't do it themselves ?
Right but how would that function, could I in practice just lock people in the room with me as perma invis rogue?
In practice u could just stop anyone from being able to do the boss and just chill in room forever it’s almost like all those ideas are cooked
Same way that wizards locked door works the moment the boss agros the door is not unlocking until it dies similar to how loot can't be accessible until it dies
This seems to heavily favor invis, wizards and rogues can sneak through the corners of the boss room when no other class can.
On top of being able to stop other players from doing the boss with Perma invis rogue.

Straight up boss dead door open boss not dead door don't open boss agro cannot be dropped in boss room there will be no hiding if you cant walk on the edge of the boss room for free
Invis characters can travel between doors on adjacent corners without aggroing the boss, also how would you prevent greifers using perma invis rogue or bards to stop players from doing bosses themselves
the moment the boss is agro you cant leave the room and remove squire from hr lobbys either you are stuck in there until the game ends or the boss is dead and from that point if someone is hiding in there forever alternatively just make invis not work for bosses and then when someone dies it opens door
So if timed correctly, I can get a whole team killed by warlords explosion, because they can't leave the room or make it to the safe zone in time
if you are that dedicated to killing yourself sure you earned it
I won't have to die, I can just use sorc, dash to the zone and levitate/ vortex /frost lighting people from getting to the zone.
Which was always an option the only difference is they don't have the option to leave once I lock them in with me, Rorschach vibes

Magic lock does not make doors unbreakable
You need to change how invis works for bosses, change the crypts boss doors to stone, so that they can't be broken or rat jumped through. And you need to deal with the potential for rats locking people into the room. I can see many ways for this to be exploited.

how on earth is caster sorc still not nerfed but they nerf melee sorc these devs are so clueless, some of their spell are way too overtuned, why does elemental bolt delete more than half my hp but when I hit them with a longsword it does chip damage to them, also whats up with flamethrower than thing deletes all my hp like its nothing takes no skill to aim and has way too large of an aoe, also nerf bear druid hp and damage.
Oh no, an ability that can be dodged with your eyes closed does the same amount of damage as a barbarian's attack to the legs.
atleast barb need to get close to do that damage, btw sorc can just very easily cast elemental bolt to your face melee distance so whats your point sorcs should do bardiche damage to the legs with a range projectile
To hit an elemental bolt, you need to get close, closer than the attack range of a halberd. If you're hit by an elemental bolt at a greater distance and can't dodge the slow, small projectile, your skill issue. My point is that Elemental Bolt is almost useless as a PvP skill if your opponent knows how to play. I've personally killed dozens of arrogant melee players who put their heads in range, and I've personally witnessed many sorcerers not having a single chance to land an Elemental Bolt in an entire fight.
those sorcs suck, still the spell needs a nerf, its speed is not that slow, if you cant lead a shot its a skill diff, even with longbow you need to lead a shot, also saying you need to be closer than attack range of halberd is just full of cap, stop coping

season 9 gonna be boring since they are not releasing any new weapons, there are soo many weapons they could add my suggestions: short spear one hander (fighter, ranger, druid), scythe (warlock, wizard), glaive (fighter, warlock), Polehammer (cleric, barb), Messer (fighter, barb, sorcerer), heavy mace (cleric, druid), katars (rogue, bard), flail (cleric, druid), sickle (rogue, warlock). Each have unique animations different than the ones already in the game.

Make a new NPC called "The Gladiator" that gives weekly quests related to arena, like the deal maker, each quest giving a special token that the vendor sells for gems, healing supplies (surgical kits) and ores (maybe mob drops, like grave essence, skulls, lifeleaf for jewelry making?) at a reasonable price.
The range of quests can vary from:
- "Play 3 arena games as (insert class)."
- "Win 10 arena games overall"
- "Deal x amount of damage in a single game"
- "Deal x amount of damage overall"
- "Heal your teammates by x amount overall"
Then finally every quest giving between 3-5 affinity, and at affinity 100 make him sell a special animated arena banner of the season

Rework wizard to a recharging mana system where spells costs are different based on current spell count(missile lowest and explosion/fireball highest). Prevents spell spam of fireball and allows for more skillful selection of spells based on situation. Meditate quickly recharges mana and resourcefulness improves its regeneration. Gets rid of spell count and sit mechanic.
Also melee sorc needs a buff. Improve survivability by improving stone skin stats/cast time or duration. Any competent player will walk away after a sorc has cast 3-4 spells for setup and wait 10 secs for it to expire for sorc to be left with nothing. Flawed playstyle where you have to all in or die utterly lacking stats in comparison to other melee classes with buffs down. Also requires too great a stat requirement to make it work. Realistically need to build every stat except agility( str, dex, vig, will, know, res). @hollow creek
I see you, but they mention “risk and reward” a lot. I think they would rather you risk it all for burst damage. Also (not that im great at it) you should wait to cast until you are sure you can move in likely with teleport

Risk reward is how it should be balanced but obviously we’re seeing low risk ( plate fighter/ barb) gain greatest reward whereas I all in with all of my cooldowns only to be beat down by essentially every class. They like the idea of risk reward but their development strategies clearly don’t reflect that.

Im strictly talking melee sorc but yes caster sorc should counter fighter. Melee sorc just doesn't seem to have many winning exchanges is what I had observed.
melee is really strong but relies on opportunity its really strong right now but also kinda overhyped u need to create a situation in which they cant escape ; if they bait out your melee buffs ur sol but if u catch them w all ur spells u should win
In low pdr scenarios yeah maybe but high pdr cleric, fighter, barb or warlock cancel out the little physical damage you can do and the glaciate/ stone skin nerf weakened the offensive capabilities melee sorc has. Just requires alot of investment to work and even then just still worse than other easier to kit and play classes. Not to mention the setup required to go into melee just for it to go on cooldown for 20 seconds. It's a very telegraphed playstyle that isn't winning many matchups rn.
Also if they can't escape you can't either and you're going to get stat checked most of the time.
spell stride and glacite help a bit but mostly i would also focus on the magic dmg u can apply before going in ; hitting the elc dash is also key make sure that ur hittimg them with that dmg not just closing the gap
spell strides a weird one only because it stops working once a spell is merged so doesn't help elec dash. Most sorcs wont take it and sorc has no large dmg spells other than bolt which is unreliable and frost lightning removes your ability to dash. All I'm saying is for people to give it a whirl and see how it plays. a lot of apm that all seem to do very little when other classes click one button hold W and spam left click. Just want more thought out playstyles to be rewarded not nerfed to meet easier and more straightforward strategies.
I hope the new boss won’t make inferno have a duel boss room, duel boss rooms suck most of the time, the work you have to do to get to them is not worth the effort because most of the time you don’t even get to loot more than once unless you’re doing trios and even then it’s hard because of people trying to steal.
If you don't run the duel boss at all, then what's the point of not having one? Let others enjoy duel boss. I hope I don't have to gamble 50/50 for the right boss again.

GK is a cake walk in trios but in solos he’s hard.

not gonna lie I was playing fighter the other day and a sorc electric dashed to me and straight elemental bolted me in the head both for total of 70% of my hp, then 1 shot me with his longsword he had boof gear aswel this was with me using 3 MR pieces of gear and also spell reflect, I would still rather die like that than the kite low T gameplay caster sorc, wiz, ranger, tm warlock usually do. I am saying this telling you melee sorc aint weak at all. Also had a fight where the sorc did not elemental bolt me just dash then melee and also was able to take a lot of hp from me. I honestly gave up on fighter doing chip damage and getting countered by almost everything, spell reflect mr is a joke, I am either playing hybrid warlock, sorc or ranger, no reason to play an inferior class next season.
I hope next season they atleast put the green uncommon rings and necklaces in the dungeon

HVCI is windows-only so that's what would stop Linux users. I think BF6 does have HVCI.
Secure boot and TPM 2 are hardware restrictions that older hardware might not have.

On the launch of artifact arena everyone should be given 1 artifact token that works like a reward token but only gives artifacts to choose from.

Warlock should really have this, on account of the fact that he gets no weapon masteries and is clearly intended to be dual wielding crystal ball and a melee weapon.
Make a Gladiator NPC that acts like the faustian NPC giving quests related to arena (5 per week) and sells mob drops (for example zombie goo, undead essence, skulls), surgical kit, some herbs, etc.

warlock skill concept; Demonic host: channel your life force for 8 seconds, dealing 10 damage per tick (one tick per second) to summon one demon. target another player to transfer the health cost, if this player dies during the skill, summon 2 demons. possible demon summons are; demon berserker, imp, frost demon, and dreadspine.
Add magic protection potions, explosive bottles, and oil lanterns to squire. Maybe also pickaxes and woodsman axes.
Warlock Spell called Purge: Consume all removable magical debuffs from target and gain 1 darkness shard per effect. Heal target for 3 (1.0) per effect. (Might need to lower scaling)

Do you think people are going to start reading the dialogue after the 10th time doing the same quest? Btw I’ve read of the dialogue and it’s just so boring, the goblin is like: I heard some ppl died in a fire, go ahead and grab their stuff from the ash pile 10 times for me, are you serious? That is such a waste of time, especially because there’s no reason to ever go to firedeep except for quests because the loot is garbage.
And if the workshop is supposed to be for people to spend less time and money to get gear then maybe don’t ask hundreds of wood and 10s of thousands of gold to max out a shop?
Have you tried to actually max out all your shops in your game by actually filling all the materials and gold yourselves with no dev cheats? I'd to add that I feel this issue is why the player base is at an alltime low, and I would attribute it to the simple reality of hackers in the lobbies. They can just make a new account and roll up with little slowing their actions down. a worrisome dilema, heres a tip to help advocate that they are indeed hacking, usually, they will have the same player level and fame, that is a huge indicator this season, wasn't always the 1 way to catch a hacker...

Yeah its about time they do some kind of IP Ban, before they needed even the money from hackers rebuying the game because of the lawsuit but now they have no excuse and this game is simply not compatible allowing even a little hacking because of how high stakes it is.
To add onto this make bosses weaker and weaker so the last 2-4 days they can be killed really fast in squire gear so people will actually fight them or add MULTIPLE named item drops so you can get 3 in 1 kill

Maybe change Squire2Richies to pure PVP zone, where you can find artifacts and epic+ stuff of all kind (but you die at the end - pure Battle Royale)

I think the game should be really free to play for everyone, all classes. And if the devs want to charge for something maybe charge for cosmetics as it is right now. Dnd is only reaching to 6k players max. We need somehow to get people to play the game. I love the game since i first started with the ironmace account way before steam release. We need maybe another class, new weapons, new spells. Something that can catch other players thst don't play the game.

I agree about all of that except the druid one, they need more nerfs than any buffs, shapeshift mastery is still very fast they could basically dash into you shapeshift to bear and hit you with m1 and you cant even space them fast enough, druid bear form hp, pdr, action speed and damage needs a big nerf. And panther dash reduced to 1 again. Also remove grass heal spell from shapeshift mastery.
Rogue - Make Ambush movespeed bonus last for whole time duration (Keep extra hit bonus 1st hit like it is now.)
Arena event has been a blast. Just announce it like a month or 2 sooner.
By the time it was announced this wipe, the artifacts doubled in price and the market got picked clean within days.
The drop rate buff was a good idea but not enough to offset the demand. Best solution is to announce it sooner so the grinders and casuals can both prepare in advance
if they add a way to see the rogue when they are stealth you may as well just delete the class, its already a walking wet napkin and hide is its only weapon, take that away and all you are left with is the wet napkin. everything else 👍

Its unironically a buff because you can schmove on people because youll get a 20% move speed bonus and can run while invis just now your visible now to a extent
one last thing on that note, id be fine with not being able to attack from hide and buff it to allow more for escape or positioning and you have to come out of hide to be able to attack 😉

I havent die to Landmine rogue this season once(only in both way pvp. when we both died on poison.)

Not sure if its just me and my friend group but adding a guild system for friend groups with may a seasonal guildhall would be sick, it would allow for an additional arena mode for guild battles maybe 3v3 maybe make them 5v5 but allow wagering with both guilds wagering an amount of gold before the match, letting us challenge each other for gold rather than rank

Make scrapping something you can do mid match, right now you’re very limited in how much you can scrap because of inventory space not letting you take enough stuff out.

I just wish cleric had some more offensive abilities. I love that 90% of the abilities are support, but, in Dungeons and Dragons, Clerics have many offensive abilities.

Panther and Bear. only the Bear spec is truly playable now. developers keep buffing Bear while completely ignoring the Panther. This has turned Panther from a mainstream build into nothing more than a utility support spec. Panther needs its attack animations reverted, alongside better stat scaling from agility. agility has been consistently nerfed over time, yet the Panther spec has never received any compensatory adjustments.
Panther is fast as fck boiii, leaps , silence, bleed. its fine.
Panther doesn't need buffs.
increase the time it takes to drink ale and add a greater move speed penalty, doesnt feel all that fun when youre winning a fight against a bard and he can just step back, drink 4 ale in 4 seconds and be back to almost full HP

Suggestion:
Make gemming quality based on affinity with the Gemsmith merchant.
- For example: with 0 affinity, If you were rolling Dexterity you'd have like a 80% chance for 1, and 20% chance for 2. Then at 50 affinity it'd be 50/50, and then max affinity it'd be 20/80.
Suggestion:
Make channeled time for abilities or spells cast quicker/slower based on either cast speed or buff duration.
Magic mistle lower channel would be the same amount of magic missiles, but launched quicker. Or Dark offering quicker.
If we want hybrid playstyles amongst classes such as bonk wizard or melee BOC lock then melee sorc needs some real options. Wizard has melt making a phys damage build viable as it reduces armor rating. Warlock BOC is 12 mag damage with (1) scaling and they have the ability to equip plate and duel in melee combat. Sorc gets a 12 sec 10% pdr buff with no ability to equip high armor stat options and no way to make a phys damage build work with 10 base strength while also having to build will, knowledge, and every other stat realistically.
If we want to make phys damage sorc viable then they need a tool similar to melt or stone skin and glaciate nerfs need to be reverted. Current melee option for sorc is much weaker than melee options for other casting classes without a doubt.

Glaciate + stone skin + teleport + longsword/crystalball + one hander definitely give it a viable playstyle. The attack speed reduction glaciate puts on your enemies is also a form of damage reduction. Since it is highly mobile and can close gaps instantly, I think it would be unfair if it was also tanky. It would dominate matchups against backline classes. Against other frontliners, the sorc has to build up an advantage using their ranged options before diving into melee. Seems well designed in that regard.
Yes the idea is great just requires a few number tweaks as you're having to cast 4-6 spells in combination of buffing yourself to be able to engage a w key holding lock, barb, fighter, really any plate melee class.
Typically after seeing the 3 spell cast a smart player will turn the other way and wait out the buffs for 12 sec and then its a fun 5 min of running for cooldowns to be back up.
The main problem is that even with buffs up you typically aren't on even ground with other classes.
Just revert glaciate stone skin nerf as it wasn't given enough time to be properly tested. Only a few days in and fighters were whining and calling for a nerf.

I think wind mastery is a big part of the problem sending people flying, i think that frost lightning has been nerfed to a decent place but yeah i get the annoyance with caster sorc.

That one im not so sure about. The mastery perks do give a 25% bump which is alot to specific elements which is often a max of 2-3 spells. the others are a 5 mp bump not much at all with certain conditions needing to be met.

Ok so really cool update love the additions. However next season you need to add stuff to other classes. Ranger and rouge were already top tier classes now you need to go buff the classes that are weaker and in need of more support like druid or sorcerer

Almost every class is "top tier" except in squire where some classes benefit and some classes lose because of the absence of direction with stats. Barb has a bunch of new skills, Fighter has a bunch of new skills, Ranger is getting skills Rogue is getting skills.
also sorc is not weak by any means and is the "newest" addition to the family.
Mind you, all 4 character updates will have occurred in a span of 3 months.

sorcerer is much harder to play now that it got nerfed. also have you seen the state of druid it is really hard to play now that ever weapon can parry. if they don't improve druid in the next wipe there going to be a huge gap in power from druid to like say fighter or wizard.

E.g;merge 3x stinky stick to make a burning staff, creates an explosion when blocking that deals 15hp to the holder and 30 HP to the attacked, when attacking it leaves a flame walk dealing 5 damage per second

I also recommend running a Ad campaign on steam after revisions to the Dark and Darker steam page where you can purchase the game to make it appeal more to the buyer. Advertising the free demo option. Make sure that advertisements are timed at the beginning of each wipe so new players have the same squire gear as everyone else.

Make ruins the first floor for every dungeon, keep ice map, maelstrom and goblin caves queues up, but make it so there are red statics that can take you to every map from ruins. A watery cave entrance for goblin caves, a forest module with a layer of snow heading to the ice caves along with stairs leading to the crypts, add a dock with a boat that takes you to the water map.

Workshop is such a useless feature the requirements for it are way too strict and it needs way too many materials to upgrade. Use the expressman = no longer able to use workshop. I was hoping you would be able to buy the weapon you want and then use the workshop to upgrade it... nope you need to go into the dungeon find the specific weapon you want and you cant use the expressman and if the item is not uncommon you need a bunch of wood and gold to be able to upgrade it. SSF is only 2 weeks it does not make any sense to invest in the workshop. Such a let down
Players should be able to get all past rewards. They could have a system where is one progressive track. Players woth demigod each season would still have the amount, and other players would need to work up to it. As in counting ap ovee entire playtime to one big track with every season reward. Also bard should have a skill that makes his next skill silent called pianissimo.

I think the 3rd levle of goblin caves should come out of the dwarf ruins and go intl a forest. Goblins are in forest forts in fantasy too, would give room for dyrads and animals ect, and would fit the pathfinder goblin athste5ic. I think if there id another layer to the water map. It should just be taken to a different location by a boat rather than deeper like with the other maps
What sucks with adding more maps is it will stretch out the playerbase across more areas

UPDATE - FIXED HVCI (also known as Memory Integrity)
Even though the operating system I'm using (Win10 Home) doesn't have HVCI, I found a workaround solution and can now play High Roller. Hopefully this guide can help others with the same problem.
Here are the steps I took to solve the issue..
- Search for Device Security from the Windows search bar. Here you should see Core Isolation option. Click on it and go to Memory Integrity and Enable. This will turn on HVCI
for Asus motherboards and Intel users
(Note: When I initially went to Device Security, Core Isolation wasn't showing up for me, it just wasn't there at all ! To fix this I had to turn on Virtualization: Enabled in my Task Manager. You can check this by going to Task Manager, Processes, CPU and down the bottom right you should see a stat line that says Virtualization: Enabled. If yours says Virtualization: Disabled this is why your Core Isolation isn't showing up in your Device Security settings. To Enable Virtualization you need to go to your Bios settings and look for Intel Virtualization Technology in Advanced Bios settings and Enable, Remember to SAVE before EXITING BIOS F10. Once you do this you should see Core Isolation show up in your Device Security settings and you can go ahead and enable Memory Integrity.)

or bare minimum give a visual/audio indicator when disarmed, punching the air after disarm is goofy af, rewarding turds that perma fish for parrys is as fun as getting landmined
Yes, you can move when Veil of Shadows is active, but it's similar to Stealth perk mechanic. You can only crouch walk/walk to remain hidden for the duration. This is why I suggested to allow players to move around normally while this perk is active, otherwise it's just not going to work effectively. Of course running should be limited so players cannot just escape with ease whenever Veil of Shadows procs.
Veil of Shadows shoudnt be hide, but instant smokebomb drop or something like that. TO be honest.

Wow, this is awful.
I really hate that they release all these totally worthless races they must know almost nobody plays. -10 movement speed, just like the useless dwarf, in a game where movespeed is king. AND this one can't wear anything on its head? It's hideous too. And knowledge? Don't make me laugh, no wizard is giving up the +magic damage add from their headpiece.
The only upside is that I never have to interact with it. But honestly I think IM need to seriously reconsider the design for a lot of their races. This 'no headgear' thing just doesn't work in a meta where high-value headpieces now exist. It was more of a thing when squire-only lobbies existed but now these races have no place at all in the game. They all need to have a way more serious upside and head damage reduction, or you just need to actually design one or two helmets for them.
Also I don't know why they've gotten it into their heads that short races have some kind of insane advantage worth -10 of the best stat in the game and no upside when they should have a shorter reach to go with it. And they have an awkward attack angle that means they're way more likely to hit an enemy's torso than their head. Those are nerfs for any melee dwarf, not advantages. And this isn't a shooter where all ranged options are the only consideration.
I'd rather shorten the duration and allow free movement than try to work around the 10 step mechanic
alternatively, you could do something similar to wizard's invisibility where it spawns after images
this is another idea that could work, though the name Veil of Shadows doesn't really invoke a smokescreen
I think if they went this direction I'd want them to create a new effect, something more like Dungeon and Dragon's Darkness spell rather than Fog Cloud

Can dark reflection get a buff? With the change to debuff duration not working on perk cooldowns dark reflect took a nerf even for people who weren't abusing the cooldown reduction. pretty much any warlock build would get 20% + debuff duration reduction even if you werent trying to get it, just from will. So this change straight up just increased dark reflections cooldown by at least 20%.
not sure why when you kill a wizard after they have landed an explosion on you for example that the debuff goes away if they are killed before it goes off but this same thing does not apply to rouge poison weapons. my reward for outplaying the wizard is that i can save myself from potentially fatal damage but its not the case for rouge. cant tell you how many times im just dead because 5 stacks of poison tick my health away as im looking at the rouge I just killed on the floor. Or those silly rouge vs rouge fights where one player will win but the other still falls over dead. lets make it consistent at least, if it happens with poison weapons why not spells?

While Knowledge is a more popular stat than Vigor, Lycan also gets a +4 along with headshot DR and less of a downside
on top of the fact that headgear restricted races aren't useful once you actually have a good hat and I struggle to see the vision with that race

Why is there such a huge disparity between melee and casters in this game?
Quests:
Leathersmith / Armourer quests are released right at the start of a wipe. Tailor questline doesn't open for a week? This makes the gap in early game modes like squire to riches increasingly difficult with the variation in stats that are accessible from lvl 2 commons.
Skins:
There are currently three caster based races. and over 20 melee race based skins in the game.
Necrotic Imp:
It's already been stated multiple times, but the tradeoffs of this skin are detrimental. No headgear and no headshot reduction means a barbarian can quite easily one shot you. Ranger can nearly one tap you. -10 movespeed already makes kiting virtually impossible.
Mob Clear Speed / Time Spent Fighting(looting):
Melee classes (with the exception of fighter's second wind) do not need to recover after a fight, there is a simple fluidity to their kits that allow melee classes to just keep moving. The implementation of a mana system to replace spell charges would drastically help the gap between casters and melee clear speeds. Wizard with a crystal sword takes 8 headshots to kill a zombie, meanwhile a barbarian can 3-4 headshot a zombie. While that may seem insignificant, over the course of a 15minute run a caster is only capable of half the mob density. Sorcerers not included in this of course.
There is just a painfully obvious level of neglect when it comes to casters in this game, from the lack of variety of cloth based armor, to the sheer lack of updates to the cleric and wizard kits. For starters, can we just address the tailor quests being gatekept?
how about a perk that allows a player to interact with objects quietly? chests, doors, torches

There are real technical reasons why players may need it disabled. For example, some devices require system-level tuning, like lowering P-core frequency, just to avoid crashes. That is not an attempt to bypass anti-cheat — it´s just stability work.
Please consider alternative protection or verification methods, so legitimate players are not locked out of High Roller over one Windows setting👈

Consider the fact that Shadowstep, even when used with melee, lets you potentially dodge an attack and gives you at least 1 free stab in the trade
That dodged attack and free stab wins you the encounter a good number of times
Even 1 second of invulnerability would let you tank the next hit and get at least 1 free stab

I think we can agree that the perk currently has no real unique value, because the same result can be achieved in a controlled way with Hide Mastery + Stealth, without the HP risk
Instead of just putting you into stealth and making you faster, the perk should either allow you to safely escape and reset the fight, or leave you vulnerable to being attacked and damaged by the enemy
Otherwise, the perk could basically be removed from the game with no real loss
I do agree that in it's current state it's by far Rogue's worst perk on account of how hard it is to get it to proc in a way that provides you value
It's unironically more valuable as a way to activate Ambush (assuming that work, I haven't actually tested that) than to actually use it for the invis
But like I said earlier, I'd change it to be more like Wizard's invis than Hide. No movement restriction and with a shorter duration. That's all you'd need to do to make it useable
but if you don't like that suggestion since you seem to not want it to be similar to Hide, again, having it be Rogue's version of Phantomize would also be fitting

i love the imp skin but im so disappointed with the stats, its nearly unusable. You get 4 knowledge, huge W, but -10 ms, no headgear, and no inate headshot damage reduction? Its worse than the fish skin and id consider that unusable on most classes. No headgear and no inate headshot reduction is bad, but -10 movespeed on top of that means your super squishy and slow.
Artifact idea for pickaxe:
[Fiery demonic pickaxe] Which could have 2 options before starting to mine ores.
First: A chance to double the ore amount but only in outside PVE matches.
Second: Ability to smelt ores into ingots while player is still inside the dungeon as long as you gather enough ores to craft ingot.
Chosen effect would last whole dungeon run. Without ability to change it to other.

My point exactly. They buffed it when it was just -10 movespeed and no upside other than short. Imp is so cool looking and being short is fun, but they need to take the move speed debuff off. I think it would be balanced.

it took me at least an hour to figure it out. There was a bunch of extra settings I had to change for the HVCI. Some PCs may not have the right hardware for the security settings.
Does anyone else have a problem with TPM 2.0 and HVCI? I have an old computer and I want to play HR normally. I've been playing this game since beta testing. I have over 2000 hours in this game. Can anyone fix this even if my motherboard is too old? My motherboard is a B85M-G. Can anyone help? (It should be said that if someone has over 2000 hours, they don't need this thing)
I think the B85M-G is too old for TPM 2.0 and it might be too old for HVCI as well.

I have a brand new super good computer and I get a black screen after just switching to secure boot in bios, now I have to reset my pc to try to fix it. Hopefully it works but having to unbrick your pc because of a video game is absolutely ridiculous
They'd have to rework the buttons for swinging or add a third button specifically for blocking while dual wielding

As much as I believe that ratting is a perfectly valid way to play the game, I don't think the devs should add a mechanic where EVERYONE is a rat
imo dying to void SHOULD be unrecoverable, although i can understand ppl not liking that. You wouldn't have to "worry" about them ratting because you would hear them coming with the loud gobo laugh. and it wouldn't be EVERY person you kill because most people aren't wearing good enough gear to care about. even so, the gobo cant hide from you becasue he makes noise and he's not very fast or tanky so its not a big deal. even if he gets his kit, you have all the chance to hear, find, and kill him (worth subboss AP) before they find/get to a blue. The dungeon interactions could be funny and mostly harmless for the person alive.
just imagine a full streamer trio trying to get their kits back as gobos with big sacks slung over their shoulders snickering through the dungeon.
Void death I can understand being unrecoverable. Stops people from jumping off if they think they're going to lose a fight.
But even if you can hear them coming and they are easy to catch, it's still something that will affect your gameplay
If I'm being pressured by a second team, I don't want to have to also split my attention on considering if the goblin I know is coming will have the chance to steal
and while yes, not literally everyone will go goblin mode, your argument for that point is meaningless. If someone doesn't have good stuff to bother going goblin, then they don't have good stuff to care about it getting ratted either
It's a goofy idea, I love it on that respect, but I don't think most people would want to deal with it past the first day
effecting gameplay is the idea, it wouldn't be very often but if you heard a gobo snickering a module away it'd peak your interest to know there's some great loot on him or a body close by. maybe even make the laugh louder or different after their inventory is full. imagine a trio of laughing goblins where two are bodyblocking to sacrifice themselves for their homie to maybe get his kit out lol. yes its goofy and it would be overused and funny on day 1, but i think longterm it would be a cool part of the overall game.

Faustian bargain is a lot closer to this than one might think
while you can't loot yourself and escape as you describe the goblin working, it does give the dead player the chance to potentially protect their loot which indirectly lets the goblin merchant recover it
but with Faustian bargain, the player that killed you doesn't have to worry about you sneaking away with the loot while they deal with more pressing matters

there should not even be void deaths the void should not exist realistically it should just be a lower platform of the map that people can traverse with ladders that take them back up throughout the entire map based around the wyverns location as the main entrance essentially just a lower level of the map like in goblin caves lower parts of the map
The design is cool and should stay for the upper floors when you jump earlier but for the lower floors you should genuinely never really be falling into the void unless wyvern spams his bs jump attack and to that end it's abysmal
Because literally every other boss goblin merchant will get you something back
And while we are talking about the boss on top of that fire Colossus should also be a 3 point boss like wyvern they have the same difficulty damn near
cave troll and cyclops should take the same amount of damage normal goblins do from magic missle
