Yes currently only warlock and cleric use magical healing, and I do think they more things need to scale from them ie health pots and all abilities in general that provide a heal.
Wdym? Crystal Ball doesn't give any additional damage. The weapon damage is just a ghost stat for some reason. I know the video you're talking about - read the pinned comment on the video. Crystal Ball is -25 MS for no benefits to fighter outside of any green or higher enchants on it.

Most streamers aren't actually that good at the games they play, or are otherwise not that in-depth and only have practical skill. A lot of them don't actually delve into the mechanics of the game or do rigorous testing, since their primary purpose is entertainment.
Any off hand weapon can provide stats but people were saying that the magical weapon damage that the crystal ball has actually adds damage when it actually doesn't.
Crystal Ball actually has a "weapon damage" stat. The problem is that it just doesn't do anything since you can't attack with Crystal Balls anyway.

Crystal ball does nothing for you and is actually harmful. The weapon damage implicit is the same stat as holding any other random weapon. It's not like the weapon damage enchant. Not only is the crystal ball not working, but it also lowers your physical power bonus by 10% while you attack (you can see the red icon while you're swinging). The damage formula supports this as well. 5+2+23 = 30 weapon damage. -5% phys power bonus total from 5% start and -10% from weapon mastery. Dummy has -12% pdr. This calculates to 30*.95*1.12 = 31.92 = 31 shown on dummy for body shot.
Will the enchants add to your main hand? Yes. Just like anything else.
But crystal ball specifically has a ghost "weapon damage" stat that does nothing.
So let’s say you have two weapons, your offhand weapon gives you 2 strength, you get those bonuses from having it out, but if it’s weapon damage, it’s not applied to the main hand, only to the weapon the +weapon damage is attached to?

You do not gain the weapon damage. You always gain the + weapon damage.

It's just like having any other weapon offhand it's the damage stat for that weapon when swinging but since you can't attack with crystal ball it's moot

I know that if you have two daggers out, the 2nd daggers damage isn’t added to 1st one, but if the 2nd dagger has + weapon damage , then it applies to 1st dagger.

Okay then yes, a crystal ball with useful stats is "technically" working but you're taking a 10% penalty to damage anyway due to weapon mastery.

no, since you don't have to use a fighter's weapon mastery perk. but it doesn't make them stronger either. the magic damage DOES add to BOC however.

Basically it was add an escape minimum to use trade chat of 5 or 10. Which would make it harder for them to access it.
Adding a report feature in game in trade halls would help too
My thought was creating a BUY button instead of opening chat, where you can make a deal. If you can only post item and set the buy price, there is no need for additional text like website where you can buy gold, or any other additional text. I don't think that auction itself is great idea, because people would use it as additional stash, but make possibility to sell those items only while you are online in chat could make a sense to me. I'm not even sure, if any DEV read those messages in here
huh. just tested and wow it truly is not working as intended.. it has an innate weapon damage mod that doesnt do anything cause it cant be used as a melee weapon. thats scuffed af. I swear it used to work properly .-.
my biggest problem with that, is that would take away the player interaction of negotiating price or doing item for item trades. but it would be a way to eliminate the issue at face value
I mean there are many options, this would also speed up option imho, because so many people takes your trade just to negotiate or check stats, but if he don't buy your potential buyer would be already gone.... So that's not a bad idea just remove negotiate option, but stick to static price. If you won't be able to sell your item, then you will go down and try to sell it that way.
Tarkov also have option, that you are able to sell 2 items only at same time, until it's sold, but if you build a "reputation", then it increase and allow you to sell more.
THIS feature would also help with cheaters ("farmers") problem, because you will remove their reaches and make it harder for them to sell their golds for real money
honestly, i think if they added in backend tracking of lobbys. like have a 'lobby id' and if the same accounts connected to the same lobbys over a set period of time repeatidly then it would either temp ban the account or suspend it. or something along those lines where it hits the source of the problem. that being the "farmers" effiency, because if its too slow to gain money on here they will find a game that is effectively faster as a money maker

I don't see how this process could be automated. The game takes an average of 10-20 minutes to play, which, given the number of lobbies and active players forms a large database. How to set the data so that legitimate players are not punished for this ? Not to mention that these farmers can change characters quite often.
You could just modify it to where the item stays in your stash till it's bought, if your worried about it being extra stash space what do you think an acct shared stash will do

Not exactly an auction house like WoW or Tarkov have, but instead of open trade where you could negotiate the price, just make it like SET the price and other side wil see the BUY button only. Everything else keep the same

I meant that you put e.g. green legs on sale for 1000g and you will have excess space in your inventory because nobody will buy them at that price
say the game saved your last 5-10 match id's (like how it saves previous teammates for karma). when queued into a game, all players would be cross referenced in the pregame lobby and if the same player id's had been in the last however many games they would be flagged for manual review. or something of that nature, so potential account bans could be issued if the suspicion was strong enough

Alternatively you get an Id match in the ques that makes it impossible to reque for say an hour unless the game becomes so dead where there's like 100 people playing at a given moment

This is not easy to do. You would still have to solve the problem that the item can't be used by you or moved, then there is the number of free slots in the inventory, e.g. pants take instead of 2×3 = 6 positions, so the price shouldn't exceed 300g, and how to solve it if the buyer won't have money pouches?

The problem is from countries of economic non-prosperity, i.e. by this cheating method they earn more than they would in their country by normal work

yeah but if their account is banned or suspended. they'd have to re-purchase the game in order to play/ make money while their original account is unable. making it affectively a bad game for them to abuse for financial gain

Add the qol changes so people aren't groaning with frustration while playing the game. It's the testing phase who gives a shit
I disagree for simply reason, if you have unlimited space you have no reason to trade good items, that are usable for any of your character. You won't have as many items to trade, so some players will never get that gear. Whoever starts early and gets the advantage of rare items will overwhelm everyone else they meet and people will start leaving. We are more or less seeing that now. The drop of rare items is drastically reduced and you only encounter 2 extremes in the game. Geared people, or grey/white with few green pieces people.

You personally might, but a lot of people play multiple characters. With the way it's set up now, you can find a lot of items in the auction. If the inventory was uncapped, then a lot of items will disappear from circulation and there will be overbuyers who will buy up all the items with TOP stats for disgustingly high prices.
I don't have a means to xfer gear to classes I do play. Idgaf about other players in the game. Me selling them items technically puts me at a disadvantage. People already start early and have the advantage. I'm not necessarily saying have unlimited space. But if half my inventory is gold bags I think there's a problem
Now one of the main stats is additional physical damage, so let's say people will buy every single item for 50-100gold and sell it for 1000g. And who do you think this will help? Only the sellers of gold for real money.
Gold bags can be exchanged for valuable items such as Golden Key or Gold Ingots, etc.

You buy golden key for 1250 gold, you sell golden key for 1250 gold, but difference is that golden key takes you 2 slots, but 1250 gold takes you 25 slots

and also, are you familiar with the gold ores in the ruins map? what are you saying about getting it in inferno? definitely easier as a solo vs2, than in crypts vs3 and then inferno

Golden key or golden ingots are just different currency of payment, everyone has same inventory space and rich inventories trade gold for keys, thats how this game works
My experience in solo crypts was awful and I can only play in caves

Ive come to learn the most important pieces of gear is your weapon and skill at the game, all other gear is just carrying you
People kinda underestimate how much damage a good weapon puts out over stock or white. Literally you can have stock kit as long as you have a good weapon you can kill most players unless it's like full pdr or a buffed barb

I have less issues with rouge gear besides them not having a bandage I think their biggest issue is str being 1 stat counting for 2 things so at the same time as having a negative phys damage rating they also have microscopic HP while having good agility

At least one I often don't get hit by the npcs as a rouge unless I rubber band back into it but I've seen some hits hit me and it not make any sense. Server issues I'm guessing. Imo every class should have 1 healing item in their stock kit

Bad karma listing if they just aren't that good, friendly fired, rude, or not a team player. While good karma says the opposite. Just having good karma could just mean they're a good player but they're insufferable as a person degrading the whole experience.

No it wouldn't I don't expect complete trust. But I also dislike playing with randoms in general if they added a mode with friendly fire off and I got paired with randoms I'd be more accepting but I risk too much going in with gear to pick a random and get screwed over

There's not a point you aren't running that unless you just forego spells should just be base kit. Also indicate that power of sacrifice actually heals if on enemies unless that is a bug

Suggection: Make the additional stashes available to all characters so you can trade without having to trust someone or getting a friend to go out of their way to transfer for you. Think this would be a great QoL
Make clarities and blue pots available for purchase and have them scale to a restoration point of 1 spell of each type per use so we dont have to sit and get scammed by rmt'ers
-Allow us to buy multiple items from merchants in one go, instead of having to spam 'Make a Deal' and 'Fill Bag'

-When in the Stash menu, add a 'Stash All' button in our inventories, instead of having to manually stash every item
-Add an 'Auto Sort' button for Inventories/Stash
-When equipping an item from a chest/mob and our inventory is full, deposit the equipment into the chest/mob if our inventory has no space

-When searching in Player List, allow us to hit 'Enter' to search, instead of only clicking the search button

Dungeon size should be tripled. Doesnt make sense that you can run into the whole lobby in a single game.
Make three level maps. Start ruins (make it bigger) with 36 players, 18 blue portals spawn to extract and 18 red portals spawn to go down to crypts, then 9 portals spawn to extract and 9 to hell.
game is unplayable for someone who doesnt want to dump hours into it. Makes no sense to play against someone kitted full purple in the dungeon when i dont have shit. Yeah, im not the greatest, but its not fun losing everything i earn to a team that doesnt want any of it

How's this: re-introduce gear cap, but guarantee 1 random roll of epics will be something like +all attributes or +Weapon damage. That way epics will always be better on average then blues, giving them some inherent value to nudge players into high roller.

I don't get the point in rogue today, fastest class, double jump, stealth, good damage, can open rare crates. Surely the most polyvalent class, so the strongest, am i the only one thinking this class has too much potential. Like it can react to every situation unlike every other classes ? I mean all classes have at least one weakness except rogue...

Jesus Christ put a move all button in so that we don't have to tediously move each item from our inventory to our stash. This is yet another frustrating barrier to entry in what would otherwise be a pretty fun game. I simply do not have the time or wrist flexibility to move each stack of gold with or without shift right click. It only makes sense to have an empty inventory button... @lucid jolt I know but you still need to go item by item to do it. And I literally do have a disability so I only play with controller. It's literally too painful to play this game doing it this way.

I'll be honest, there are two classes that should ever be able to onetap - Barb and Rogue. Barb against squishies to the dome and Rogue against squishies to the dome only coming out of Hide w/ Ambush proc. Your whole goal as a Rogue should be to nuke an enemy team squishy or put a massive interrupt/potential kill onto their Cleric if they have one.
Rogue is definitely NOT "very good" right now. It is by a long shot the worst class.

That's why I've said multiple times that they need to give Rogues no access to armor pen but high raw damage that can scale with Ambush to onetap squishies. Current PDR curve supports Rogues becoming squishy onetap machines to non-plate-wearing classes without also being lethal to those plate wearers, assuming you increased base damage and took away access to armor pen.

its an RPGish tarkov shooter where gear literally makes you unkillable in some situations but more so to guys just starting out. in shooters even if ur new if you have gunskill youll still be ok. this game punishes new players with nothing by putting them against guys they have no chance of killing. i want to play this game with friends but theyre frustrated and dont want to bang their head against a wall over and over with no results

remove traps entirely, the fact that a ranger can completely shut down any class just because they brought in 50g worth of traps is completely unfair. Not only that, there isn't a limit or anything which leads to just blatant spamming of traps. If you think it's required for keeping barbs and fighters away then remove leg shot as well because apparently it changes nothing.
I kinda wish there was more spells for wizards. there's plenty of spells from dnd that they could use. especially more unique spells like knock, or minor illusion. imagine having a team on the other side of a door and casting an illusionary door opening sound to juke them out before pushing.

In my honest opinion, the best decision Ironmace has made in the last month has been to limit gear for normals. I'm okay with current state of rarity drop, as long as they combine it with gear cap. Better drops in HR makes completely sense to me. So let's say blue items in normal with purple drops in Inferno and better drop in HR with legendary/unique drops from Inferno bosses. I would like it if unique and legendary items couldn't be traded, but that's just my opinion.
Rogues were a problem before hotfix #18, when it was possible to collect all possible damage bonuses. Since those stats have been removed or rebalanced, I think it would be appropriate to bring back dagger damage. There are a lot of perks that are practically unusable, but I believe Ironmace is somehow watching and adjusting. E.g. not showing potions behind the belt, or lockpick I would put rogues as passive. It's practically a dead class at the moment and everyone play it as a meme.
Can't believe people are still so stupid being on the gearscore train. They tried it, despite all critics and it didn't work out (surprisingly)- especially for those who were crying so desperately for it. What else do you need to know to understand that gearscore is not achieving what people "think" in their heads it would do?
I would reduce the speed of arrows and bolts and not let heal rangers be instant. A fighter would not be allowed to use any crossbow without the weapon mastery perk. I think that might be enough to optimize it.

That post about gear cap being removed from game has the worst reactions from all post in here, so I'm not sure if you check the community reaction ever. I'm not talking about economy, I'm talking about fresh player experience that is unable to get any green gear set, because normals are being fullfiled with purple/legendary teams smashing everyone for 50gold. In response to the rise and fall of the active player community and the general balance across all the different updates, I think this makes a huge difference. If you meet people like that in HR, I have no problem with it. Baseing the community's reactions from discord reactions is beyond stupid. And the gearscore solved nothing while it was implemented to help the new players you are trying to defend as people were just getting bis blues and still killing them.
BIS blues are still less OP than BIS purples / orange / unique. So if you have any skill, then you stand a chance against them. In addition, at that moment it was possible to stack combinations of weapon damage, true physical and additional physical damage at the same time. Now it's not and lowered rarity drop in normals make a complete sense to me.
It just doesn't make any sense for people with the best gear to go kill people in basic gear who can't get any items. If they decide to go HR, then OK, let them lose their green/blue gear to purple/orange teams, but a basic gear team can't defeat a fully loaded barbarian.
I've been in situations on both sides and it's not fun from either side. It's funny the first kill when you shut the team down for 3 shots, but playing the whole wipe like that? Makes no sense to me. And desparate players that trying to get any better items going in basics into HR instead of those geared teams.

Having a second stash to dedicate to gold & consumables is such a QoL buff, it cannot be overstated.
Having been pro-shared stash before, I'm even more so now.
Please IM, replace the ability to buy more stash with 1 character-specific stash & 1 shared among all your characters, for gold & consumables.
Contrary to what you might think, managing a full stash is NOT fun. It detracts from the looting experience and promotes dying on purpose.
The main issue is & always was the amount of space wasted by gold purses. If you're decent at the game, it'll quickly take up 1/4 - 1/3 of your stash.
Add an auction house please. If Iron Mace doesn't have the capabilities or technical knowledge to complete an Auction House i can recommend some skilled developers

Sitting at a campfire should give a temporary buff to Resourcefulness based on campfire rarity, 2 minute buff, Grey +1, white +2, green +3, ect. It's a minor stat and that would help alleviate the time lost to camping if it meant faster looting.

I think it would be cool if we could set a sort of loadout our character will automatically have whenever we die and have a base kit character. Just like being able to move around our basic equipment slots at least and have them always come that way when we die.

I would like Ironmace to hire someone who has a lot of experience balancing games, as i think they take a way too heavyhanded approach to balancing.
For example, this patch they nerfed loot power, loot availability, trinket availability, and trinket value. This basically destroys mid to low level players on multiple avenues. We have less gold for them in the match, less gold per trinket they actually find, the gear they finally find in norms has more of a likelihood of being bad stats such as 0.1% action speed, and the like, etc. All of these changes are fine on paper, but together they compound and become ridiculous. Go play norms. You can hit a full games worth of chests and AI and come out with maybe 50-100g, and some grey pants. Quite a lot of effort for very little return.
Another example, is nerfing the item power while simultaneously nerfing Blow of Corruption. Again, both changes are FINE on paper, but together they compound and nerf the skill more than im sure they intended.
Ultimately, i dont dislike any changes that ironmace makes. I dislike how they compound multiple nerfs simultaneously and dont let things play out before they do so. We get 4 different nerfs to the gear/economy at once instead of 1-2 and watching what happens. Please consider either hiring someone who has longterm experience balancing game economy/items, or consider taking a MUCH less heavyhanded approach to nerfing things.

This patch addresses literally every problem I had with the game.
Buffball nerfs, buffs to the two classes hit the hardest by the weapon affix changes, adjustments to the loot pool, balance adjustments on underused skills. I love it so much.

It was needed, rogues and rangers were disprortionately hit harder than any other class from the affix changes. They were down bad, and IM clearly agreed with the buffs they gave them.
rogue is still gonna be down bad because they nerfed their mobility while not giving him back base agility to compesante a little, damage increased for everyone so pretty much the same but we lost double jump and weakpoint is literally 0 against clerics

The problem is that rogue the supposed mobility class and lowest starting str melee class has now had its moblity nerfed through DJ and mobility reduced again through the adjustment to the armor we are mostly forced to use to reach 15 str+armor rating which was reduced while dmg increased making us even more squishy
I stopped playing when I tried the game and didn't like how it felt.
You just watched as your class got a lot of buffs, a nerf to one perk and haven't even played the patch and are being pessimistic.

Scaling rarity damage, and overall damage for your weapon class are big buffs my man. Every other thing you got was a buff other than that one perk getting outright nerfed.
Weapon damage matters on rogue and ranger more than any other class. So the buffs to weapon damage are buffs to those classes.
Slayer fighter gets a little buff from this too I guess.
Maybe let lizards equip helms but they just don't display? minus 1 gear slot will be hard to balance. Plus some classes (warlock / wizards just got more incentivized to run certain headwear)
They will probably tweak it a bit, cause yeah -1 equip slot is gonna be god awful... (I don't care I'm using it anyway)
If purple daggers are reaching 25 base damage, the class is likely saved. DJ needs to be removed rather than nerfed. Thinking that the class getting base weapon damage increases on their weapons that benefit from Thrust and also getting rarity damage disparity increases won't be enough tells me you don't know how the class works.
I cannot express enough how renewed my interest is in the game after this patch. Fixed nearly everything I was complaining about. I mean I guess we'll see how far the loot changes went, but from what they described it sounds good.
The difference between blues and purples is nowhere near the difference between greens/whites and blues. So I really don't mind purples being an extreme rarity in comparison to HR. normal dungeons will properly let people prepare for HR now.

This is a gigantic W patch. I am so happy like it's ridiculous how happy this patch made me. I am hyper excited to play the game.
I'll be honest, I'm a little confused with some of the changes and how they think that they're tackling buffball by removing clarity potions. That will slow down the pace at which teams can traverse the dungeon, sure... but won't have an effect at all on buffballing itself. The biggest effect these changes will have are on bad players who run buffball comps, because they likely don't capitalize every single time they buff up like good buffball players do.
Aside from that, I do agree that I'm pretty pleased with everything else.
Buffball will not die from this patch, that much I accept... but after like many patches where buffball is untouched I'm happy to see them moving in the right direction.

Well yeah but so does every other comp. So they slowed them to the traversing pace every other comp has... but buffballs are still 4x as deadly as any other comp. So realistically nothing has changed.
As a wizard main I see no fking reason to nerf the class like that.

Naked wizards running around with no top and haste invis casting several spells while kiting everything in the game were ridiculously strong in solos. Probably not anymore without haste giving move speed and invis revealing your position now.

Barbarian/slayer fighter gets 350 movement speed every time the press Q, deal more dmg than a rogue and has triple the sustain of a rogue.

This was another change that I felt kind of odd about. Static down portals means easy camp sites... and additionally, they didn't exactly think this through at all - because unless they're already going to be consolidating lobbies, there is going to be the potential for more players going down to inferno from these static portals than are allowed in each inferno lobby. Is that a likely scenario? No. Possible? Yes. But to answer your question - yeah, absolutely. I think they're well on track to make it happen.

So Rogue individually only really got 1 buff and it's the Crossbow Mastery bonus damage. If you take into consideration the fact that we have a TON of core class traits locked away behind perks then buffing another one of those really doesn't help. Like cool, Crossbows are back, but now I need to choose whether I should drop Lockpicking, Making Stealth Viable, Making my stats not abysmal, or any amount of damage scaling.
But that's beside the point, the real benefit we get from this patch is weapon damage and scaling increase across the board... across the board.. meaning everyone gets it.. Yes, Rogues are going to potentially come back into the Meta with this but do you know how they are going to come back to relevancy? By sitting in doorways and Ambush, WPA, Thrust, Dagger Mastery 1-shotting anyone who walks through. Which is EXACTLY what we got turbo nerfed for a few months back. I really don't see that as a win regardless of how viable it is. Not to mention Fighters, Barbs, Clerics, Warlocks, and Bards are all also benefitting from this so our ability to duel is even worse now.. It is literally 1-shot or be 1-shotted
And in exchange for this overall mid buff? We lose our mobility... as the mobility class.. Double Jump is literally unusable now. 20MS is an INSANE amount to lose permanenetly just for taking a core mobiliity perk. So now we can either not get air strafe mobility or we become slower than half of the classes in the game.... Oh also Padded tunic got nerfed MS! Which was what most Rogues used. Which means we get even slower.
1 of 2 things can happen here. Either the numbers aren't high enough and Rogue stays a meme class for rats, or the damage numbers are substantial and we are right back to the 1-shot Rogue sitting in doorways meta that everyone raged about..

Base dagger damage got increased and so did the amount of damage per tier of weapon improvement (aka more damage between blue and purple, purple and orange, etc). If you don't recognize that as a MASSIVE buff, you simply do not know how Rogue works. That's all I'm going to say.

With the current PDR curve and lack of random modifiers to amplify base weapon damage to the point where you can 2- or 3-shot Barbs/Fighters, Rogues realistically will only be able to easily deal with squishy targets that they get a jump on, which is thematically correct and vastly different from what you're comparing this hotfix to in terms of capability.
The patch you're talking about, Rogues had higher base weapon damage on daggers AND the capability to get +33 wep dmg.
That is astronomically high in comparison to what this hotfix will give them.

No flame, but I genuinely have no idea what the point you are trying to make is. Are you saying Rogues are going to be good or no? Because from what I am seeing in these patch notes I'm thinking the back half of your comment there is right on the money. Rogue is only going to be able to easily deal with squishy targets. I don't think rogue can physically win a fight against a barb, Cleric, or fighter this patch and Ranger is a toss-up. But Wizards and Warlocks are going to get fucking minced.
And I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say that if I'm a wizard and I get insta-killed by a rogue with no counterplay whatsoever I'm gonna be pissed. I don't care how thematic it is. Rogues are just gonna be 1-shot squishy deleters and that's just unfun to play against

People are too willfully ignorant of how much damage stacking influenced class balance up to now
Rogues got buffed from being in the gutter. They won't become meta because that's going to still be buffball/antiball, which is effectively Cleric/Fighter/Bard, maybe Barb instead of Fighter, and Ranger/Cleric/Warlock respectively. Those won't change until they actually address buffball as a mechanic. Rogues will be good, but not anywhere near as good as you seem to think, with the comparison to when everyone hated landmine Rogues. That kind of lethality just won't be there without being able to stack weapon damage, TPD, or APD anywhere near as high.
And again, the game is balanced around trio play. Not solo play. If you're soloing as a Wizard and get got by another solo Rogue in GC or anywhere else, that's the risk you run playing as a solo. You'll get hard class countered sometimes. Get used to it.
Yep, I believe rangers will get their place back in the meta as an anti-buffball comp yet again, like they previously were. Since before you could have one in your comp as a sort of 'wizard killer' that kills the backline while the frontline tries to rush all buffed up.
I was surprised how far they went with Wizard nerfs - even though I'm a Wizard/Bard main, I've always stated that perfect invis with high dps is toxic in any game and should be removed. The change to invis is a good direction (indications are skill-checks, but shouldn't be overboard to the point of making it useless), I believe they should do something similar with Rogue.
What surprises me is the combination of a haste nerf + a drastic invis change - the invis change is probably plenty to make running in with invis very difficult to execute without getting earthquaked or knocked out etc.
To get better comp diversity, they need to make another stand-alone support. Bard can no longer support a team by himself in an effective way, so the only support is Cleric - so every comp revolves around it.
It wasn't perfect invis though, you could hear Wiz's loud ass footsteps and easily track where he is going
This is used as justification for it, but the ability to track footsteps is almost impossible during a fight. Tons of spells going off

I've recorded a lot of combat with invis plays and played them back with amplified sound and the sound lightfoot boots make is negligible when you have a plate mail cleric walking and casting spells beside you

base kit got slightly more magic damage... but also reduced magic resist lul
Devs are out of their mind when a fighter holding a lantern and a sword can get to 350 move speed for 6 seconds and heal half of their hp mid fight and use crossbow for insane dmg and barbarians can get also 350 move speed with fists and scream.
But a wizard running in a 310 move speed for 5 sec is too op for some people I guess
I want to play the lizard but I feel like most of the helmets in the game have way too much value compared to +15 armor. I can only think of it being good for slayer fighter with low gear. Could be interesting to have a helmet just a "stat stick" that does not show in game (so u dont have to remodel every helmet to fit on the lizard head), and the armor and movespeed bonues don't apply but other stuff does.
Lizard is definitely gonna be the worst race to play for anything other than base kit classes, but that's okay I love him anyway.
They will probably tweak it later.

I just wanted to leave an idea for the developers here, congratulations on the work done on the lizard man race, it was incredible, I'm very excited to use it, but since it's an extremely well-crafted race, it made me sad because the others now seem like just one "Chrome" of the human race, in this case, that of orcs and elves, it would be interesting to pay attention to a little more detail on these 2 races mentioned and review the Status system, because considering that having a race that changes statuses so much As for the lizard race, it makes the changed statuses of the other classes insignificant, where there is only an almost zero increase in a single status, anyway, just a consideration I wanted to make, I hope it makes sense and maybe you will think about it fondly, thank you.
And the daggers? They remain unusable, they need many hits to kill a simple mob when others are 3/4 at the item's basic stage
Rogues need some kind of health regeneration to return to the game as a good class, currently they are very forgotten and weak to use when compared to the others, maybe something like life steal, an ability or something like that
And please, take another look at the off-hand weapons system, it is currently a very weak system that could be much better.

Back when rogues could get up on top of ruins, I remember wishing that every class could get on top of ruins and we could have sick battles on crumbling scaffolding where we'd have to avoid falling off. Rather than nerfing double jump every patch, please give other classes an equivalent to double jump so they can contend with rogues in those hard-to-reach places! Give wizard a limited flight spell! Let rangers and fighters climb walls! Give barbarians a hulk superjump! Give warlock like an eldritch tentacle to lift them up to higher places! All classes should be able to get where rogues can get, just maybe slightly slower but still competently chase them! It would open up so many avenues for new places to fight and all without having to make any new maps!

Reverting the double jump change in a vacuum isn't enough: until every class gets a movement ability that grants them the same level of access to parts of the maps, double jump will continue to be a problem. Every class has to be given something to compete with Rogue. I don't like the DJ nerfing as much as anybody else and am genuinely going to stop playing rogue (and maybe the game) because of it, but they need to give other classes something that can contend with double jump. I don't see double jump being fun until they do so, either for the rogues if they continue to nerf it like they have or the other classes if they restore it to what it used to be.

rarer weapons just got much more damaging this patch, so player lethality at high gear levels is significant. It scales a lot with physical power or action speed, so while the movement speed of geared players is relatively sane in this patch, watch out for their swings the field is not as level as it was. And then of course if they're a ranger, uh... just die I guess.
I was against the idea of gear based matchmaking, but over time I've become more and more open to it
Wizard's Haste no longer grants movement speed bonus, but instead increases spell casting speed bonus by 12%. ok i think this is a mistake why don't you just make that into a whole new spell and keep wizards haste we need that to survive a lot of situations

Ah I mean, after this wipe the gear progression wasn't perfect but it was nuanced instead of brute power. Lower geared players were a real threat and you couldn't just swat them like flies.

the game probably could use some sandbox for inexperienced players, but that may not be the issue for you, if you can clear hell then you know the game quite well.

maybe a built-in tutorial level for new players? just a small 3 or 4 room dungeon with tips for players
you may just be a bit disinclined to PvP? I find soloing Crypts is less lethal if you prefer to fight defensively (just bigger, more space to run more directions to lose people). But gear disparity is also back in a big way this patch, so if you don't bring in rare weapons you don't really get to play the PvP

Fighters should get a perk where they can throw spears. would it be op? yes! would it be hella fkn fun? yes!
-dmg on throwing the spear does +25% on top of base body dmg / 50% additional ontop of hs damage
-on hitting them, it stays on them, causing low bleed, with a skill check, if they get it right, no damage, if they fail it, it also comes off, but causes internal bleeding,
causing them to take 3 dmg/s for 4 seconds
the fighter must manually retrieve the spear off the body or off the floor if its removed.

Hello, friends. I have a suggestion that I think is very good for the health of the game.
After the introduction of the Lizardmen, my thought is that the races should only be chosen when creating the character and not be possible to change them afterwards. I'm sure this will bring a greater RPG/Dungeon&Dragons feel. However, I believe that this way, the buffs of each race should be different or improved. Here's my suggestion for each race to follow its own lore within RPGs:
- Orcs:
- +2 weapon damage
- -3 agility
- Elves:
- Improved night vision
- +1 agi
- Skeletons:
- Resistance% against slashing and piercing damage
- Vulnerability% against blunt damage
- Lizardmen:
- Can't wear headgear
- +X armor and magic resistance
- +X dark life every X seconds (nothing too crazy, simple life regeneration due to Lizardmen scales and blood)
I believe that this way the game would be much more fun and we would have good varieties and combinations of classes and races with this update in the perks of the races, thus bringing a feeling of RPG and uniqueness of each character.

yeah, except for if they have a fast swinging weapon and theyre on you they can heal to max and more, plus its % of health not flat health like the fighter, 10% would be more understandable but as it is even streamers are saying its broken, that combined with the massive 4 seconds now of the barb slow and its insta death
i think the lizardmen should be able to wear helmets. there are a few that could easily be equipped and it will look fine. losing a piece of gear because he got a long face is sad 😦 it can wear leather cap and few more easily, rogue cowl maybe
Second wind has the recharge time of a 6th level spell, blood exchange has the recharge time of a 1st level spell

Blood exchange heals 60% hp in 4 hits, heals when smacking shields too. Achilles strike into blood exchange heals you for 15% max hp with every step the enemy takes over 4 seconds, if they don't stop dead in their tracks the 1 auto attack will heal you for like 75% hp, the slow is enough to guarantee another 45% or 60% total hp easily.
Does like no damage now, they changed it a while ago by giving it stronger movespeed slow at the cost of its damage. It still scales well with flat damage increases though.

yeah my friend an I 2 lowly rat rouges, trying to farm pve get gold and get out, get attacked by a triple ranger stream team, Manage to kill all 3 of them, then their viewers vow vengeance and to hunt them down (successfully) (while wearing full purple/legendaries) So you have multiple teams working on the same side to kill 2 rats that don't even want to pvp in that instance... It's unreal. Game after game Pure Juice. Unable to even get 40g out. I'm not sure how much longer i can suffer these changes. I finally enjoyed the game for almost a week, before it was ruined again.

Lizardmen have the equivalent of a leather cap on their head. Either that value should probably be increased or at the very minimum they also need a good innate headshot damage reduction in addition to that armor. Losing the headslot isn't trivial and it needs something a bit better to counteract the loss of the enchantments imo.

What would YOU think of the bards buffs and debuffs being in a cone spread out in front of him, similar to the bat scream, instead of a circle. So he has to face towards his teammates or enemies. Destroying haste to fix buffball is a mistake. Wizard is reliant on kiting. Make haste selfcast only and reduce the max hp gained from strength above 35 to 1 (currently it doesn't drop off til 50). This will nerf buffed HP at the highest end while still letting Barbs gain significantly from the first 5 strength on their gear.
solo in the trio map in unplayable nobody is friendly and as soon as you see a group they rush you down no chill enven if its 2 min in the game and nobody as any loot, i see no fun on playing as a solo
Most Barbs just ale and self buff to 237HP with base kit atm anyway, don't really think this is a necessary HP scaling change. What really needs to happen is HP scaling and damage scaling need to be from separate stats. Constitution should be introduced as an attribute that scales HP and the debuff duration stat. Strength loses HP scaling and only scales damage, that way Barbs don't get to double-dip into two of the strongest stats in the game by only investing into a single attribute across all of their gear. Barbs are currently a huge stat check for early game, and a decent contender for buffball comps late game.
No class can solo do 237 dommage in base kit.... thats a bit too much if you ask me

Reduced damage potential is a shadow buff to shields and heals provided by the Cleric. So they got reduced casts to put them more in line with the reduced damage output potential of dps classes.

That’s a trade off imo tho. You’re trading damage for support and heals. Clerics are not good damage dealers in any way. I mean they can be built that way but not cheaply
They were mainly aimed at buffballing, but Clerics did need to be tuned down a bit across the board since damage numbers were reduced. They need to address the max potential PDR/MDR or adjust the curves at least next.
A cleric can 100% be a middle ground between frontliner and support, not on default but after some gear with stuff like smite you delete

Just play cleric, it's easy mode, put lesser heal and sanctuary and camp the swarm zone.
How about instead of giving skins raw stats you would give them perks/skills. Lizardman could get different breath type (fire/cold/poison) depending on colour. That would be a very D&D thing to do.
I get where they got the idea for the benefit of lizardmen but you lose valuable stats by running it... helmets give way too much good stat to not use them just for a little bit of speed

You get less spells but resting makes your spells regenerate almost 200% faster then before. They want u to use heals outside of combat mostly, that’s why they didn’t touch the protection spell at all. They increases cast time on both heals so ppl can’t just be using that shit during fight all time.
And if you are upset because your earthquake has 1 less charge, learn when to use it, if u need to use 2 earthquakes to win a fight , you are doing it wrong.
They want to slow these groups down, so at least you have to rest before ganging up on another team.

This is a common complaint I see by casual/chill players, hell i'm sure some sweats/juicers would use it from time to time too. I get gaming for some people is about relaxing and destress after work etc, BUT BUT why would you choose to play a PvP game that day to achieve that? By nature that has a level of stress involved, also the understood unspoken agreement that you will be engaging in battle, agreed to or not, just by the nature of the genre of the game.
The disconnect with those with the above mindset, is they believe the other PVPers in said PVP game has to abide by an unspoke rule of "honor". If you have any modicum of experience with online competitive PVP games, that generally is not the case. You will always have players in the games that are out just for sheer bloodsport, nothing (games like that appeal to that mindset), there is nothing you can do balance wise to curb that mentality. I'm not saying I condone relentlessly hunting down newbies, BUT I understand that is the nature of these games, whether I like it or not.

A perk to make haste how it was doesn't make as much sense as rogues and hand crossbows to me. I don't personally understand this "buff ball abuser" as if anyone was "abusing" it. There was no bug or exploit being used in the buff ball to abuse so it's just people playing the game in my opinion, to support my suggestion its very common in dungeons and dragons for casters to buff their melees before combat (with haste being a melee favorite because of how good it is) so this haste change is just straying from the original theme of this game to satisfy cry babies for the millionth time which i don't support. to go even further, you say i abused buff ball but have you not? have you never played on a team where a haste was cast on your frontliner? cause if you havent i dont believe you, sorry. everyone's "abused" it at some point because it wasnt abuse it was just the best spell to cast on your team before a fight.

And now it's still good, invis still buffs speed by what 5%? So with the new buff duration changes you can have 7+ seconds of invisibility with +5% move speed. I think a perk that allows wizard to benefit the most from haste is a better change than just reverting it back. Buff ball was overtuned.
the idea is to have it like in dungeons and dragons i'm fairly certain, where some races are limited to certain gear choices but also have more unique racial benefits, this is the first iteration so the lizardman buffs will still change but the goal would be for them to never wear an helmet

Gear matchmaking is BAD in a game that has this many active users, we got 3 maps, two of them have high roller with 5-10min queues already , often u go alone or with couple others, and u want them to add GEAR matchmaking on top of it?
Use brain, if u split player base that much, it’s over for everyone.
You know what’s worse then dying? 10min queue times and empty lobbies, if u want pve go play dead island or something

Max damage rolls are 14 for physical damage down from 72+, armor at the base level is protecting like 10-25% more PDR

Everyone learns the game at their own pace, I've got my strats down and make it out with 90%+ extract rates. It's very easy if you learn the game mechanics and maps. This isn't a single player RPG that you can save scum, this is a hardcore fantasy PVPVE looting game.

The loot is in chests, spread out across the map, if you know the maps, you know what modules to prioritize looting. You'll know where static portal spawns are, when to go into inferno for better loot. When to dive into HR for the best loot. It's a learning curve

Yeah I'd prefer they add a perk for wizards to still get movement* haste at the cost of quick chant or the bonus MP perk, a trade off for the speed boost to apply to them wouldn't hurt. It was the haste speed on other classes that made it overtuned.
I'd prefer no speed boost. haste on wiz made it impossible to catch spellbook wizzes who were full naked by anyone but ranger, rogue, bard potentially. I do like that there's incentive to wear wiz hat and shoes now which will naturally slow wiz.

The game isn’t set for items to have a “use” keybind, so before any of this comes along, they have to have the base system in place. No items have on use effect and prob won’t for a very long time, if ever

We've yet to see enough items drop to really say it's out of the realm of possibility, plus many players call for the removal of old shoes as they are a terrible drop. This would at least add some usage for that gear piece as a named drop
we know every weapon will have a unique version, why not armor?

Yes , I know about these. I just feel boots are a bit different, two reasons why.
Anyone can use these boots, while all uniques currently have some sort of limitation to them. Bow can’t be used by wizard and etc.
Second, these uniques are very noticeable, if you know them, you can spot them, like that life and death axe, is very visable that a player has that unique, which allows u to dodge or counterplay.
However boots are very hard to notice , and have no class limitations, again I think it’s a good idea , if we make a bunch of items do these things, but I feel like these active/passives are just kind of “talents” that we will have eventually
@keen onyx @dawn grotto Range reduction on Shriek of Weakness may have been a bit much. Finding bards, my own and others, getting absolutely murdered trying to use it. Most bards aren't running it anymore
Gearscore matchmaking - needs to happen. I shouldn't have to "rat" or run and hide from every single person in every single dungeon. I should have similarly geared folk looking to have fights with eachother, not just get my ass beaten to a pulp every single dungeon
You'll notice the puff of cloud, and the fact that a wizard just double jumped, ect. And you can still examine people in pregame lobby. These boots also don't add any combat stats like other names uniques do, only a utility ability on a cooldown.

they don't have to be hard to notice tough, have you seen a unique round shield ingame? I can tell you right away that if you never have the moment you do you can tell it is one because it looks sick in red and gold looking like an immortal shield, unique items can easily be given models with gold decoration and such so that they are noticeable

I don't think this is the answer imo, it's not just git gud when someone is genuinely essentially unkillable and entirely inescapable by you because of the matchup in gear and class.
They are, and I agree with u that it’s annoying , however, gear matchmaking isn’t the solution , not with 10k player pool. And also, some ppl enjoy the fact that they can go into a lobby naked and come out with epics, something that won’t happen with gear matchmaking, all the gear you get will be similar to yours unless the player you killed looted something big in the run you are in
Balance is impossible , think about it like this.
There are 3 different maps, some are open, some are closed, which means certain play styles and classes are better in certain maps then others.
There are 8 classes , each has a bunch of perks and abilities , some of these abilities and perks interact with your teammates.
Now will all these iterations , it’s impossible to all balance in every situation.
Total balance is boring, it takes away from the uniqueness of the game.
Don’t get me wrong, full kited teams in normal crypts is cringe as fuck, but I would still take that over the alternative

I don't think this game is balanceable obviously there will always be differentials in fights, but currently the biggest differentials are gear, and cleric. If you have better gear and the other team doesn't have cleric, they auto lose 95% of the time.

Look at the 1-15 Lobbies and 15-20 lobby system they had going on.
People were playing on smurfs, queue with a friend, get their friend to drop them gear, then go play in 1-15 lobbies fully kitted, players will always find a way to be lame

Yeah, it's to hunt other players, but if they only find grey geared timmies, its still a waste. Charging them 200+ gold to make them go HR seems a bit too harsh. I'd rather them going into inferno with a -80 luck bonus wasting all their time a better idea, they could still end up with a legendary worth 2+keys off a boss drop at the end of their run. -80 luck would make that nearly impossible.

Making the gear drops from normal lobbies literally nothing but grey drops imo is the better solution. they'll make that 300g entrance fee in one HR run and run right back to the normal lobby to pub stomp

If that's what they want to do, no pigeon hold on an entrance fee is gonna stop them, and they'll still have a possibility of a unique drop off inferno bosses in normal lobbies. Reducing luck would prevent the drop rate by 200%+.
They aren’t queuing for drops. They are queueing to get easy kills and content for their 50 TikTok subs, the norm loot doesn’t matter.

Yes, and they'll gladly pay that is my point, it's not gonna stop them, just reduce overall gold flow in the community. You can make 1000s of gold from one HR run, and even one normal run if the boss loot is good. Reducing loot drops will still act as a time sink the same as a 300-400 gold sink would.

You can make 200-300 gold per normal run, I do it frequently with 90%+ extraction rate. That won't stop good players from pub stomping.

Honestly I'd prefer the drop rate for HR be insanely good, since the death rate is so high in there. They could always drop the drop rates in later patches once the playerbase gets their wings.

i think traps should hold u in place, and u can move a bit on these traps, they changed it a whle back so the traps are a little area that u can still "move", i would rather reduce the duration on them
traps arent that bad when im on cleric, and have the 50% less debuffs duration on me, they last very little, and i usually just block for 3 seconds or so, then i can move again, that would make more sense for everyone

they remove that shit from vitrually every game that tries to be giga balanced in a PVP situation, and the fact that there is no limit so someone can place literally 10 traps and can walk across the dungeon and come back through their maze and they still are active is just stupid.
ye having a limit on how many traps u can have active, or a duration on trap being active after u laid down could be nice
i dont want to play a game where im forced to dodge incoming arrows for 20 seconds while i even get up to a ranger in HR gobs and then have to play looking at the floor and jumping over every xingle dead body,
my advice to you if they dont change how traps work is just, crouch and turn ur back on them, they can only hit ur body and not ur head, hopefully thats enough time for u to disarm the trap and run to a more favourable spot
Yeah and major issue is, you sometimes cant unlock the trap unless someone else stand on top of the bodies hitbox.
also since we talking about traps, fix this clear bug, where rangers can shoot arrows and then place a trap on top of arrows, effectively putting a trap wherever they want, sucks when ur looking at the floor expecting traps, then get trapped on ur head instead xD
I get where you are coming from, my worry is the fate of early acces games that cater to chads wants to be sweaty and shit on less “good” players ends up killing off the player base as most people don’t like banging their heads on brick walls and going no where.
I enjoy pvp but I’m running into nights where it’s just geared out groups rolling the dungeon inventory full of bandages, pots, and campfires and not even looting the teams they are rolling through. This kind of play is just as demoralizing as teaming, I’m still getting my 2-4 hours a night but when I hit multiple nights in a row where it’s every game it makes me want to move on.
Games can survive without chads, they cant survive without timmies puttering around.
