Suppose the +weapon damage roll were something like .3 or .6 instead of 1 or 2, would you still consider it unhealthy for the game? I feel like it's ok to have it, and that in part the opinion that it's unhealthy for the game is related to its current state being unhealthy for the game.

Now, I admit that it's a little awkward that low damage weapons like daggers are given the same scaling as high damage weapons like the felling axe. But I think you can find a balance between +weapon damage and +physical power modifiers where physical power still gives significantly better scaling to high hitting weapons but the low damage weapons are given just slightly preferencial treatment by having a modifier that gives them a higher % increase (because it's a flat added value) than the high damage weapons get with their preferred stat of % damage increases.

  • Weapon is bad because it gets also Power Bonus. Additional COULD be fine if it was like +2 max, maybe +3 on Legendaries only, since it doesn't get any power bonus. But it also adds to skill damage which can get out of hand real quick too

Crafting is really cool now, but I feel like it should almost be recipes instead of vendors. That way we have goals we can work toward, instead of just getting lucky with vendor options.

They could balance it based on a straight up percent value between heavier/slower hitting weapons. For example, if most 2-handers get around a .6 or .9 damage increase from max rolled %damage increase modifiers, but only .3 to .45 from flat damage modifiers, they'll prefer the % damage increase. Whereas the faster attacking weapons weapons would have a bigger % increase from modifiers than slower weapons from their preferred damage increase modifier, but not by a lot; perhaps they'd have around a .2 to .3 damage increase with top percent modifiers but a .3 to .45 damage increase with flat.

This wouldn't be hard to do the math on, and would be based on the potential theory that faster weapons need a little more scaling than big-hitting weapons, which may or may not be the case.

As things are now, flat damage isn't well balanced with % values, and everything wants flat values which makes things scale pretty much the same regardless of attack speed, naturally fast weapons have hugely preferrential treatment which is bad.

Knowledge does something for these classes: at least they can use shrines faster, absolutely garbage stat for them but at least it does something, but modifiers that do absolutely nothing for them are basically null text. Might as well replace the text with ERR://23¤Y%/ to say it does nothing.

No, I am asking for actual fighting chance in PvP in damn NORMAL game mode! Tell me, please, how is it going to change the core loop if you will not be allowed to take your equipment in NORMALS? It will NOT CHANGE A THING. It will be filled with PvP. On EQUAL term this time. It will be there to find the loot, the same loot you can sell or to gather and equip later, in the HR now. You know, the place that was SUPPOSED to be for those who already got their enchanted weapons and armor. HR was supposed the place you go, when you do that. NOT NORMALS, where people with no gear just TRY TO EARN IT, but constantly rolled over by lobsters and caped sweatlords. So HOW and WHY are you so afraid of actually having to fight PvP on equal conditions? Or you simply can't afford it for your actuall skill to show itself, when you are not wearing top BiS equipment to stomp on defaults, hmmmmm???

I think your making assumptions on the devs intentions for the game. At no point have they stated that gear is not for normals, and your ignoring the massive pve difficulty jump that HR has as well. The reality is that people can have purples and not be good enough to tackle HR. Just cause YOU can’t compete with geared players doesn’t mean that others can’t. We all start with the same situation, if you can’t succeed while others are what does that say about you? Geared players are environmental hazards if your running around in greys. You don’t have to pick fights and you don’t have to engage on these players. There will be times where you can’t avoid them and you will die and that’s the kicks but I’ve survived many situations in that position as well. Give yourself time to build up some gear while focusing on extractions instead of mindlessly pursuing pvp and you’ll have better success. This isn’t call of duty

I think that for the Slayer perk on fighters to be viable and used more, it should apply to two-handed weapons like the longsword and halberd. You're losing a lot by sacrificing plate armor, having two-handed weapons not be an option makes the whole perk borderline unusable.

I love going in to a lobby naked and seeing buddy in all his greens, I now have a target I want to hunt. I’m not sitting there like oh boy I have to avoid that guy unless it’s a trio of caped crusaders with purples and above, but why would they bring that into high roller right now when it’s going to cost them 50 gold and they might just get a lobby full of nakeds just like the base lobbies anyway?

Yeah. It is MY problem that barbarian in blues and purples with 161 HP two-shots me with an axe, while being able to tank 5+ hits and lose only 60 HP out of those 161. And the best part? He instantly heals 16 of those, takes my trinkets and leaves. And then goes in again to disrupt another default geared player's game. What a FUN experience to be forced into unwinnable situation and be told it is my fault! Brilliant!

I’ve loaded in default and stole someone full kit of rings, pendants, cape and gear so many time. What’s the point of loading in over and over only fighting other naked people to maybe get one green or blue item every game. 90% of games I load in naked looking to get that third party kill on the kitted players. Not every fight is worth taking. Some times it’s better to run. There are classes that are always better against other classes, this is unavoidable.

Forcing the RULES of the game in the game is the way to go. If there is no rules, or those rules don't even care about the majority on the bottom of the pyramid - THEY LEAVE. And that minority of self stroking "chads" will be left to deck it out between themselves, then suddenly realised they are not so good at the game, when field is equal and leave too. And after that, the even smaller minority of actually good players are left in the empty servers shouting to the high heavens why no one plays their "perfect" game!

And if you think I am just making it all up - go and check the fate of EVERY hard-core full loot PvP RPG that was ever created and how high, if any, online is in those games NOW. If you don't level up the playing field and don't give a players on the bottom of the pyramid something to cling on - you LOSE THE AUDITORY.

There are so many ways as a grey player to get ahead right now, if you move players with ANY gear into high roller forcefully you are making it harder to snowball as a half decent grey player who started a couple days later than anyone else, now I need to run 3x the amount of matches to get half the gear because nobody is bringing jack shit in except the crap I’m getting from chests

Are we playing the same game? I’ve watched countless streamers play permadeath from level one, if they can get to level 20 without dying how can you not extract a few times and level up your own gear? Never been in one lobby that is 14/15 people sweat lording, maybe 3-6 and if you can’t avoid them that round oh well, better luck next time.

If you want to change it, give people their own reason to take their gear somewhere else, simple.

I actually prefer rapier on my fighter over the arming sword, and on fighter rapier has -10% damage because that's how the weapon master perk works 😐

Rapier has a longer reach especially on the first attack. After you block a single attack you can get a really fast attack out with shield master, but sometimes they range you just right so that they hit your shield and you can't punish them with fast attack with the arming sword, doesn't happen with the rapier though.

Rapier has a much faster attack which makes it able to punish some heavy, high-impact weapons that land on your shield and stagger you where arming sword can't punish them.

Rapier's stab first attack makes it really easy to get around the long sword parries.

Rapier also has no sour spot, if you manage to get right up in the enemy's face and hold w so they can't make distance back pedaling, you often reduce them to around 70% of their damage (unfortunately the additional physical /magical /weapon damage modifiers don't get reduced by impact zones though so this is a somewhat null point).

What we need is more fleshed out content to bridge the gap between Hr and LR so people have something to do besides stomp crypts if they aren’t confident enough for Hr

I seriously think this is a temp fix for the short term. As a higher skilled player you can get purps by level 5, and spend 10 levels stomping the very people they are trying to protect. The system is flawed at its core. The game is a niche game like Tarkov, I don’t think the devs goal is cod level player count, people who don’t jive with the game don’t have to play it. Gotta stay true to the vision

Yeah I feel like people (myself included) complained and wanted 1-15 lobbies, then when they came we realized we were still getting stomped by chads in great gear. I'd like to outplay people of the same level and lose because I was outplayed, not because of gear. So choosing that myself when I make my character would seem to be best of both worlds

There’s other ways to do this than splitting the playerbase. Tutorials or offline raids like Tarkov has. As a realignment player think about the effect that idea would have on Tarkov. You said it yourself 8-10 min waiting times, if the split is 50/50 that means the wait time is relatively doubled. The devs had made it clear they want to add as many maps as the can, won’t be long till we see the wait times spike in dnd as well

The game is in a very bad place and not because of content or updates. Everyone exploits every lil thing, its a nightmare to try and enjoy any type of gameplay because people are non stop exploiting and griefing and ruining the game. From people teaming up and ruining the game for others to smrufing accounts to boost low level character lobbies with full purple gear,capes rings literally sub level 15 and running end game gear. Its ruining the game. The toxic and down right evil things the community of players say in voip. And this has all happened to me in the last hour. But its been happening more and more and now its every day all day There has to be better answers. There has to be a way to do more and uphold some kind of integrity with the game.

They’ve made a lot of mistakes, the biggest one by far being the catering to the current playerbase that wants the game as is. Extraction shooters were spawned from Tarkov and they ran with the idea but the system was always intended as a placeholder system. They’ve doubled down so hard that at this point I don’t know if we will ever see the touched idea come to fruition. Haven’t touched the game since they added labs

Not a fan at all, give people the option to play the game however they choose, just make high roller lobbies more appealing for those who are currently decimating the normal lobbies because they aren’t incentivized to risk their loot and pay more to do so for very little difference in reward vs a normal lobby

yeah, there's a choice to play how they choose. If high roller lobbies were more appealing, players would go in, get more appealing gear, and go back to stomping normal lobbies. Hunting down players is one of my favorite parts of this game. I have a 3 stack bard barb ranger and all we do is go back into normal lobbies and crush because.... shocker.. it's amazing and fun. if we had better gear it'd be even easier and more fun steamrolling lobbies. Nothing will stop geared players from enjoying the slaughter of normal lobbies

The problem is players don’t know what they want. We can have 1 person in here complaining how fight her is the weakest class in the game and then an hour later there’s someone saying the opposite. The devs have to have the balls to tell the complainers that their vision doesn’t support what they want. They will lose the people that backed the concept if they decide to throw the concept out the window. You don’t need 100k players to sustain your game, lots of game have way less players but still out out content to this day since they stuck true. It’s a design decision to have open lobbies. One major possibility with the pitched idea from @uncut current is that the player base will be unbalanced to the lower skill lobbies. We could see the Hr problem extend across the entire other half of the game as the split could be close to 80/20. It’s not a perfect idea in the slightest

Because there is no reason for you to believe there are as many people to roll in high roller, there isn’t better loot, there aren’t many things you won’t find in a normal lobby to separate the crowds more. Had more of the semi decent players been given a reason to go to HR, your group would have as much fun rolling those lobbies and you would be getting better loot for it.

You are literally what 95% of the player base complains about and is coming up with extreme solutions to offset. So you’re either going to see a shift where people like you just can’t enter normal lobbies, or you’re going to need to find a reason to start going in to high roller without the devs blanket forcing you to because of a gear score or something. If there is no way to somewhat balance this, it will just cause fall outs of players and reduce the game to dust over something as simple as you wanting to play the game on easy mode and there being no other incentive provided by the game to have you take your gear elsewhere…

I personally enjoy running into geared players, I’m not saying I’m the 95%. I’m a part of the % that wants gear in all lobbies, I just see it as beneficial to the entire player base to give people like you MORE reasons to want to go into high roller instead. I’d love to run HR steady but as of right now the rewards do not make it worth it hence there being so many groups that will run normal lobbies hella geared.

Why do I care how the player base responds? And what extreme suggestion? Nobody is forcing anything on anyone, it's literally a choice. Do you want high risk/reward and possibility to stomp / get stomped? Or do you want normal lobbies where people can't do that.

When i'm stomping normal lobbies and run into another team stomping normal lobbies its a fun "this is my turf and these are my noobs to kill" engagement and I like that.

That’s not true, I never used to wait until below 2:00 to have a full lobby, when the 1-15 lobbies hit I found my wait time tripled. You’re also talking about something people are still putting up with due to the fact things are changing and it’s early development, if wipe after wipe people can’t progress they’ll fall off. Gear should crate a feeling of progression. Having better gear should allow you to tackle harder pve, this game is a pvpve game. If you are complains about getting stomped by purples then you don’t like the game at it’s core. It’s not for you. It’s not impossible to progress but it is if you don’t accept you could have done something Different in the situation that caused you to die. Even at a 50/50 split, your assuming that the top 50 would play the “normal” mode instead of just stomping the casual lobbies. When there’s open lobbies you don’t know if the other guys in the lobby will be kitted or default. There will be games where you are the most kitted party in the game and others where you’re the defaults. It’s understanding that not every fight is a winnable one and choosing what’s more important to you, extraction and success or mindless pvp pushing. If it’s the later then you aren’t playing the game the devs are intending it to be. Like i said it’s like asking for an easy mode in dark souls, it defeats the purpose of the game lol

I just stated where I made my guesstimating from lol, your attacking Jimstr reputability at this point not mine, but I’ll break it down for you. If Jimstr said recently he’s waiting to get into a Tarkov raid for 8-10 min and Tarkov is open lobbies, and also take into account that the devs want to add as many maps as they can, the we can reasonably assume that if we split the player base 50/50 that the times would roughly double, which means 16-20 min wait time to get into raid. You don’t have to agree with what I’m saying but I’m not making up numbers from nothing lol

when we had 15 damage castillons, a headshot would deal around 21 damage, while the 18 damage castillon did 30 damage. adding 1 point of +weapon damage to ur dagger would mean u get +2 bonus damage to headshots. if we got 20% dagger mastery it would be op. the patch right now is fine keeping it at 17 damage. additionally, you get POWER BONUS when using dagger mastery. so you go from -17% physical power bonus to -%7, meaning that you dont need to reach 15 strength when using daggers to get 0% physical power bonus

I'm kind of relying on competition to force them to make better decisions. Before they were the only game of their kind and I had to play it no matter what, but now there are other games on the horizon with the same idea so I feel they kind of HAVE to make the right decisions otherwise they lose their playerbase.

It's baffling how many weird decisions they make but I'll stay as long as the game doesn't get ridiculous and hope that player's keep them in line otherwise they'll lose to their competition.

This is why competition is usually a good thing, if people have options then naturally the best option will win out over time.

GiG might be goofy, but it's something to play while Dark and darker is in maintenance. And it seems less hardcore than Dark and darker which is a good thing. It means Dark and Darker can focus on it's original design in being a hardcore pvepvp game rather than try to court causal players that will probably jump to competitors anyways. Specialization is good. Also competition will let other games try weird things and IM can choose to copy or wait and see.

This suggestion is to lower "additional" damage modifiers. By the numbers I gave, I make percentage damage increases like physical power optimal for heavier hitting weapons, while faster weapons technically scaling better like what exists in the current model is still maintained slightly.

On top of reducing the power of "additional" damage modifiers I also addressed another issue: having fewer potential rolls: 1 or 2 additional damage, for example, increases the probability of rolling top damage numbers. The percent modifiers, however, have a wider range of rollable numbers. By the law of large numbers, a smaller range of possible rolls means it takes a lot less investment to find everything you need for a kit of high-rolled equipment and it's easier to intentionally diverge significantly higher than the average roll.

To solve this last issue I propose that they add a wider range of possible rolls. Again, in summary, this makes it harder to put together a full kit of the max roll of the modifier. And brings people who try to build a really strong kit closer to the average of what the rolls will give them.

Like when I played Apex Legends, I spent a ton of time in the training field practicing the movement mechanics in that game combined with aiming, reloading, flicking, and the lot.

The problem is dark and darker is a game you're fighting other players for maybe 5% of the time you're playing, this kind of model makes it hard to train at the game's mechanics without a place you can go to get constant action.

I like the extraction gameplay of DaD but I'm interested in having a semblance of mastery over the games mechanics and a training field would be the best place to practice this.

Really hoping the devs see just how oppressive and un-counterable the ranger/bow meta is, Casters are completely unplayable because you just get shot for half hp the moment you try to cast anything. Melee classes are worthless because longbow has a 35% slow and they just shoot you over and over and over until you're dead. Most meta teams now are cleric fighter ranger with the fighter also using a longbow because its just obviously OP. Devs just cant help but show their obvious bias for the classes they play, when landmine rogue was a problem they nerfed it into the ground, but somehow rangers doing the same thing from the other side of the room is A OK. every lobby I get into 70-80% of the kills are to a longbow, something needs to change but I don't know if Ironmace are capable of seeing how bad it is since they main ranger and fighter and have clear and obvious bias. Its just a shame, I really like this game but at this point if you don't use a bow you just cant compete, might aswell be escape from tarkov in a dungeon since everyone has pin point accurate railgun with practically infinite ammo, nearly 0 drop, and a 35% slow just to make sure you can't even take cover after losing 33-50% of your hp from the first shot.

The issue that I see is that it’s hard to not make ranger obsolete with damage reductions and such, I still think the best answer is to get some more classes in the game that have some direct counters to arrows. Monk in TTD&D has access to an ability called patient defence that allows them to catch and throw back arrows, think mechanically it would work similar to genjis reflect in overwatch. Until stuff like that enters, best counter ranger will be another ranger or a full plate fighter with a bow of his own

The comparison is that they're both games you get relatively little action for the total time you play. It makes so that you don't get very good at the PvP in the game by playing it a lot.

An arena isn't about having a new game mode, it's about being able to get better at the one gamemode that exists, about allowing people to play the game slightly more competitively. Saying it's silly to have it because the game isn't balanced around 1v1 content, that you wouldn't spend much time in it because it isn't the same game, seems like you think of an arena as a different game mode.

Arrows are also dodge-able. It's not like it's guarantee to hit you. If a ranger misses you twice while you're running at them they're dead unless you happen to be one of the few classes that loses in close range to a ranger.

The answer is to remove slow on all bows and adding a system to make shooting harder (Look at mount and blade for a good example) Rangers can simply hold and walk around with their bow drawn forever and its always pinpoint accurate, always does 33-50% of your health, and always slows you by enough to make the second shot unavoidable, have 2 people with longbows on your team? you just steamroll everybody no contest. I know because thats what my team did last night, cleric ranger and fighter with longbow is a completely uncounterable setup. We only died because we were too busy killing everyone in the lobby and died to zone. There is undeniably a problem here and pretending like ranger would be unplayable if they didnt 2-3 shot everybody is just a bad faith argument.

While I agree that rangers need nerfed (specifically two things: traps need to be disarmed in like .2 seconds flat but leave you slowed for like 3 seconds afterwards, and the slow from longbow shots needs nerfed significantly), I have to point out that aside from quick shot, fighters don't do that much less damage with a bow when compared to rangers. Though I do note that the "hitstun" nerf you want is basically the same thing I'm calling for nerfing, and that this nerf would hit the bow-wielding fighter just as well as it'll hit the ranger.

The big wizard nerfs people begged for got undone, and haste/invis got nerfed not because it did damage or because it slowed but because it made wizards impossible to catch.

Rangers NEED the slow because the only way they can beat an enemy in a mid-range encounter is by using the slow and kiting to their advantage. In Ruins map sure they don't need it, but crypts is the most popular map by far and in GC there are not enough rooms to warrant removing their slow entirely.

That is true, everybody's been saying to make invis and perhaps also haste self cast only.

It is possible that it would have taken a slight recoding of the game though that may have been more difficult and they were partially looking for a quick coding answer, just changing some numbers is so much easier than changing some code. Just pointing out that there may actually be other reasons for actually just nerfing haste/invis.

Thats the problem with you people, you simply don't know what its like on the other end because you're so sheltered by your easy class. Try playing a class that can't use a longbow or crossbow and you'll see pretty fast how un winnable fights against it are. Especailly in 3's where the ranger doesn't have to worry about being rushed at all and can just output hundreds of damage while the fighter just stands there holding the line.

As I said in my previous post. They don't have anything that just casts on self, the nerf they did was just a number change, the proposed nerf would require changing the code. From a developers standpoint they did fix it in a way that was technically easier to do.

I don't believe the change to code would have been difficult, but it would have been more effort for sure, even if just slightly more.

Naw I said it’s a difficult thing to balance without destroying the class, not that they can’t do things to improve it. I do agree that there should be some more systems added to the rangers and a good one would be reducing accuracy the longer you hold a bow drawn. Longbows and even recurves have an insane amount of weight behind their string, holding it back for a few seconds is hard. A good example of this would be the kingdom come system.

Just to expand on what I meant, reducing damage a little will make little to no impact, reducing it too much will make the class obsolete. Finding that middle ground is difficult and addressing balance from different front or other front at the same time, like arrow slow or the draw timer mechanic I decribed above, is a better approach then gutting the damage, As long as ranger isn’t broken to the same degree landmine rogue was at least lol

Ironmace needs to stop going back on their fixes. The game was in a super balanced state rogues were balanced and now we just go right back to pre-nerf with both gear and rogues. Dark and Darker is in a bad place after the last patch. There are 2 main problems I see right now.

  1. Basic gear has become much harder to obtain as the merchant price for greys/whites has increased, while their frequency has decreased. With grey melee weapons disappearing entirely.
  2. The stats of high level gear have increased drastically and it's now available in the merchant making the game too gear focused.

This combination means that surviving with starter gear is harder, while gearing up is also harder. And once you have that gear, it's harder to keep since you could run across a team with MUCH better gear, forcing you to start over. This game has always had an element of randomness, with well-equipped teams potentially dominating the entire lobby, but this problem has become worse. Even more so now that powerful ranged classes like the wizard, warlock, and ranger can easily find extremely powerful gear. The focus has moved from skill-based combat to combat dictated by gear and team comp, where the team with better stats and better composition wins nearly every time.

In my opinion they need to do a few things to bring the game back to a balanced and more skill-based state:

  • Reduce the difference between top and bottom end gear, not just base stats but also rolls. Gear with high rolls should still be available, but should be extremely rare and only available in dungeons.

  • Give players the ability to select from a list of junk quality items for free, or for a couple of gold. Let players choose their own starting kit for their class, rather than forcing them to use weapons they do not want to play with. This was less of an issue when grey and white gear were both cheaper and more common, as players could stockpile cheap gear. However it was still an issue and needs to be fixed. This change would also point out underpowered items, as players would avoid them.

  • Reduce the overall amount of gear in the dungeon. Right now, there are too many garbage items, partly because there are too many containers like chests, barrels, and boxes. Grey gear is rarely worth picking up except to fill an empty slot or replace junk. The majorty of the gear in normals should be white, with occasional greys greens and blues. In Highroller the majority of the gear should be green, with occasional whites blues and purples. Hell should up these by 1 tier. Sub bosses should also bump this tier by 1.

  • Finally, there should be a method to incentivse going into highroller with high gear. The best suggestion I have seen is to have a point where your gear flips the highroller and normals costs. For example if you are wearing a kit of full blues, then normals will cost 50-100 gold, while highroller will be free to enter. The advantage here is that it will reduce the number of highly geared players seal clubbing in normal dungeons, while encouraging them to enter higher level dungeons with similarly geared players. The reason to not make highroller free for all, is that it then prevents low gear players from simply farming highroller for free items.

To note, i have opened almost 80 (checked my notes, its 78) of the "higher end inventories" (Lions Head, Gold Chest, Mini Boss, Royal Coffin) and got 54 purples. On Normal Ruins map.

I legit decided there's no point in playing call it skill issue or w.e but I'm getting one shot by rangers and even if it's not a one shot I'm left with so little HP that i'm effectively useless, rogues are back to two tapping out of stealth and people who are spending irl money running around hunting down timmies in every lobby, it's exhausting and I used to extract like 70% of the time in prior play tests

On the last point, only problem I see with the cost swap is that at higher tiers, ante cost is almost unnoticeable cause we’re sitting on 1k gold. I think just removing the ante cost on geared or reducing ante by calculating the worth of the gear and applying the difference as a discount.

I still think we need more mid roller content though as that will solve a lot of the problem by giving blue kits not ready for HR something to do besides stomping noobs, hope the new maps they are planning on releasing the next couple months here will provide this

While that is true, I have to give the edge to rogues and rangers.

Rogues because... Adding up to +10 flat base damage on each piece of equipment matters WAY more if you have faster attack speed. So rogue daggers which have insane attack speed and incredibly high base AGI will benefit immensely more.

Rangers because... getting hit by one or two arrows matters a lot more when those arrows are chunking you for your entire health bar especially off of headshots modifiers.

Affix changes are terrible overall.

Rogue's problem is that it is too specialized. Rogue right now is a class that has very little health and defense, and significant mobility. In order to make this playstyle effective it must have extremely high damage and an ambush playstyle. This playstyle however is not conducive to fun fights as it is hard to do properly, and hard to counter if done properly. Meaning that either the rogue kills their target extremely quickly, or their target kills them extremely quickly. There is no room for counterplay or mistakes.

To fix this, Rogue's health and defense needs to be increased and burst damage decreased. Rogues playstyle needs to be adjusted so that instead of pure ambush, they play to their mobility darting in and out, poisoning their target and harassing them to death. This gives the opponent the possibility of countering them, and gives the rogue some leeway to take damage.

Players should not be afraid of a rogue they can't see, they should be afraid of a rogue they can't reliably hit or escape from.

Can you make Bards Wanderer's luck be to the entire party. All it does is create a weird funnel where you turn the bard into a looting carring and you have to double back as a ranger to loot your arrows. It just helps the party overall flow better.

Celric/Bard/Ranger. You're in hell, cleric is clearing a mob to a chest with bard , ranger is kiting a demon beserker or centaur,. We're all within the 450 range. I'm waiting as the bard opens the chest and loots and closes, then runs to me to loot /close my mob, so i can get my arrows. If i move on and let him loot the mob, he's arrow mueling for me, if I move on without looting I leave 10-15 gold in arrows on the mob if I can't find time to double back cause a team showed up or w/e. It is simply a pacing change idea, to have the stat boost, like every other stat boost, be a party buff in a AoE similar to Jokester.

It's just a gameplay flow improvement to not have to wait. Do this 5-6 times in a run from normal to hell eats up alot of time. Either way, I put my suggestion in, and I leave it to the devs. While this isn't a problem for you, it is a problem for others.

Make >15 queue and HR and singular pool. No fee but you are in a harder dungeon 15+. The larger pool will mix lobbies with various gear values and remove the issue people have with geared folks in Normal and the same groups feeling like they never have enough gear for HR dungeon.

my first game after wipe taught me this:

  • white/grays are practically unobtainable now, unless you survive and have money
  • people still walk around mega geared (dupers or super sweaty)
  • traders sell insanely good gear for next-to-nothing

Hey Devs, do you think you might bring back grey weapons at the weaponsmith inventory. I've played about 15+ games in the last 2 days as warlock and have only found 1 falcion and 1 halberd, which lasted me a match or two before losing...which is probably just due to poor luck. But after the recent update I cant seem to find any cheap weapons to enter a dungeon with, to get the ball rolling. The chasm between Grey players and someone who has some color in their gear feels so great now. Paying Solo or Duo maps I felt so much better off when I could buy a weak longsword, quarterstaff, or bardiche to defend myself and not get rolled immediately.

Blow of Corruptions for Warlocks needs a damage nerf.
Cleric's 15% armor pen maces could use a SLIGHT nerf.
Bard's spells should be tuned down so you dont need to go full knowledge to use them. They are nearlly nullified and are really hard to manage now, the current nerf seemed like overkill.
Warlock's Fire walk with Phantomize needs to not work together.
Warlock Hydra needs to be kill able and not be able to siphon life from it and should take 15-25% of your HP to cast as its used to block doors and other various bits.
Fighter's Victory Strike should deal 35% damage instead of 20%.
Fighter's Heater shields of Purple rarity should be able to defend better against Fireball.
Rogue's could use one more slight buff tuned for their ambush by 5% and 1 more damage base increase for all their daggers.
Warmaul should be staggered more if they hit a shield as much as the one who blocks it with a shield is staggered for long so they cant just endless chain swing into you.

Its been Warlock spam in solo's and duos, now we will DEF see them more in HR and trio lobbies. They are strong and have great pushing and holding capabilities where they can trap players in rooms or guard others from coming in.
Hydras dont die and can have their life sucked so its not really fair to be honest.

Why do Axe Skeletons speed up as they step into an attack and player Barbarians slow down when swinging? The entire issue with 2-handed weapons is that fast classes just walk in and out of your threat. If player 2-handers moved forward like Axe Skeletons, 2-handed weapons would be useable.

Has anyone suggested the perk "Silent Hands" yet? A perk for rogues to make it possible to open all containers/doors etc really silent and also to almost make no sound when you do other things with your hands like drinking a potion or swapping weapons... I think that to be more customizable the build, i think that you should rebalance the skins, like are all orcs, (HP Physical power) most of it because of the hp because you only lose 1 agi for hp, in other game that i played they give like a purpose to decide to use that like this
Orc: +1 STR -1 agi -1WILL (loosing magical power also for the benefit of hp and physical)
Elf: -1 STR +1agi +1will (know if you are mage u think about to be elf and loose some hp for more magical and also movement speed)
you can change the indicators in my thinking they should be
Orc: +2STR -2AGI -3WILL (slower atack speed and movement but if you enter in his range one hit is much stronger)
Elf: -1STR (diferencial of 3 for orc) +2AGI +2WILL

All others, that is 965 people are in the perpetual state of "chasing the dream" and are all extracting below 50% of times, so they constantly LOSE income and, as such, a WILL TO PLAY. We separate those and apply the principle again. out of those 965 only 31~ will be able to be decent enough with their sub 50% extraction rates and lucky finds. 934 of other people are tired of being constantly in a state of NPC and leave the game. Because, unlike the real life, you CAN just go and chose something else to have your money to provide you with entertainment and recreation. Do you really think, that the game will be able to survive, when it looses 934 people out of every 1000 it was able to attract due to marketing and streamers? GOOD F-G LUCK.

Drive this into your thick skulls - if you don't provide anything for those on the lower level of the pyramid, its foundation crumbles and the whole construction destroys itself. Allow us to trade for free between our different characters. People already do this through other means and it just means they gain an unfair advantage over people like me who play solo and already have a lot of disadvantage. And please don't listen to the people who will say no to this change only because they can trade with their friends or who have bought extra copies of the game. One thing that would make sense is to be able to trade with a character, it needs to be level 15 to avoid being able to use the trade without properly leveling up first.

Hello, i sadly realized that its nearly unplayable in the normal dungeon :/... Its full with highroller so u dont even have the chance to reach the red portal without any gear. So my question is... why is that possible? It should only be possible to entry the highroller dungeon with full gear but not the normal one. Is there any possibility to fix that? i know its hard but would be great. We like this game very much and trying to do the bosses and stuff but like i said its not even possible for us to reach the red portal anymore.
Maybe u have any Idea to fix that. I thought about something like .. its only possible to waer green stuff in the normal dungeon without necklaces and rings. For sure u can waer it when u find it but u cant enter the dungeon with it.

I'm not sure what you mean, I was playing earlier today with a friend in crypts, and we extracted 7/10 games we played, and we never had a single item higher than green quality no rings or necklaces. Now I will admit we didnt take many fights, but that was the point we sized up people that looked like chads and bailed the moment we saw them. Worked well and we made a good profit playing only whites in the post 15 queue.

Well I recomend you move up to post lvl 15 queue then, it sounds like you are quite good at the game and would be able to compete there well. What I recomend for the game is that you start consolidating loot sell your mid gear and only keep your absolute best to start making BIS sets. as for the gold start buying stores of value items IE candy corn or gold ingots, those items take up less storage space but can reliably trade for gold coins if you ever need liquid capital.

This I agree with, you should be able to stack intact skulls and grave essence. They prob will make a change like that honestly given how much Mats you need to actually make anything. What I would recemond doing for now is selling your crafting materials. Sell all your grave essence all your skulls and bones and then consolidate that gold into a few gold ingots. You should be able to turn that entire stash of mats into a 2x2 stack of gold ingots. Then when you are ready to actually craft something just sell the ingots and rebuy the mats.

Wouldt work here bc the zone comes in unlike tarkov so the portals are fine. I just think teams should be able to extract together. If you clear a lobby should never be in a situation where one of you can’t get out bc not enough exits. However I feel like they increased the number of portals for the last portal spawn recently.

Ah, that is the so called "tiers of equipment" crap. Yeah. On a certain "rarity" level paper will beat the stone in this game. I can't understand why it is so hard for devs to comprehend, that the difference between tiers should be like 1 point of armor or damage, with the main difference being enchantments. Green - 1 enchantment, blue - 2 enchantments and so on.

Its worth them investigating to see if it’s worth it. It could be very well worth it for them to pay $X if it will mean they can prevent it from happening. Duping/cheating can ruin games and cost them millions in the long Run. I don’t know their financial situation although I think they generated around $4-5M from the early access money. I stopped playing wipe already. Stash is more full than its every been and I just have no incentive to play for loot anymore lol. 3 stack ranger in like a ton of high roller lobbies, we rarely ever died. This wipe lasted so short in my opinion cause the gear was basically free from merchants. I was able to get insane greens/blues from merchants for dirt cheap by comparison to what a player would charge.

They stated they removed epics from the vendors, because epics should matter. Same sentence they introduce JackO with even more epics. Guess what happened: epics are worthless now and there are so little legendaries (with random rolls) that these doesn't even matter.
The last "hotfix" really messed up the game in so many ways.

yea i had played a duo ruins run and had some decent loot on me and hid from 4 squads walking past me while i was in a dark corner. (my warlock buddy died) and i followed them slowly watched them all escaped panic ran for a portal found one but couldnt interact with it AT ALL. it was highly annoying even my teamate was yelling "bullshit" even if its a visual glitch like the 1 guy said. "someone else already took that portal it was just a visual for you" thats still a really crappy bug and should be addressed. its happneed more than 1 time to me. thinking i was lucky enough to find a portal in the swarm at the end and not being able to open it
