There is 2 aspect of "matchmaking" so I have 2 theory :

• 1st : This new matchmaking system is only a matter of how lobby a created. And was I imagine would be something like : When you choose a map you'll join a queue. Every 1 min (for exemple) the game look at how many player have joined a map. It then create as many lobby as nescessary and randomly split player in all this lobby (to avoid pre teaming)

• 2nd : It'll will also add a GBMM or SBMM system. My favorite would be a GBMM, only for High Roller, with 3 bracket. Grey to Green (With 1 or 2 Blue piece) -> Green/Blue to Blue (With 1 or 2 Purple piece) -> Everything above Blue/Purple.

That's how I see it. @torn fossil and about when, well in the wipe patchnote where they gave a list of what was happening this season the new matchmaking is right after the "new AP system" that failed (It was really great imo but people love to cry on every little problem here so they reverted it instead of upgrading it)

It's to not get stomp by people with better gear. The best fight are (when gear is balanced and that's better now than last season) when you fight people with same gear level imo. Yea, the under 25 gear lobby is good. But if they make it so if I decide to bring in a purple I'm only going to be matched against others with purples, then there is no point for me ever to do that. Depend of how you want to play him, Panther = Agi + damage (Strengh, phisical power etc), Bear = Never really tried it but I'll say Strengh + Vigor. And if you want to play him around spell (So as a support imo) I'll say Knowledge, and probably some HP and move speed, play a Spellbook as your spell mostly don't benefit from the damage choose the speed.

Well, move speed is one of the strongest stat you can get. So agi (even if it's less usefull now than before the wipe) is still good. The dex increase you Action speed and that's also a good stat to PvP, draw out weapon faster, hit faster, reloard faster, drink potion faster.

You can. You just need to react like really fast. The way the parry work is illogic; the time you have to riposte is how long you get stagger by the hit you parry. So if you parry a Bardiche hit, a weapon with a lot of Impact power, you'll be stagger a lot and have a longer time to riposte. But a dagger or Rapier have very low Impact power so it almost don't stagger you and that 's why the riposte timing when you parry a dagger/rapier hit is really low

Blocking is only a thing for some of the class. You need a Shield to block, or some particular weapon but really shield are the main way to block hit

Don't rush thing, the game is a Die and Retry. You'll learn things slowly by making mistake and dying. Looking for tuto or reading stuff on the wiki can help but you'll learn mostly by playing.

Hey all, I was wondering what class would go well with barbarian and a cleric, my friends seem to get upset with me when I play bard, druid, warlock, ranger. I don't really know what to play at this point to better work with them and do not wish to reset to ground zero for 5th time.

bard cleric barb is the OG buffball comp and its very strong. just play to buff your barb with accelerando/allegro, and support in fights. either by peeling for your backline (cleric) or play aggressive and help your barb in the frontline

Druid can work well in that comp tho, can play it similarly. can either play more of a support role or a dps role, just depends how you spec it. poshypop plays a support focused druid. but he plays it with a frontline fighter and a bard, essentially replacing the cleric. i think the cleric is better for support tho and having a bard to buff your barbarian is better

Health is never a bad stat. I'd go with mainly Agility, but try and get up to atleast 100 health in panther form, minimum, and get some physical power and additional/true physical aswell

yes i have multiple characters with stashes. when the wipe hits everyone loses their gear and starts from scratch. then market gets built back up again. quests reset. stuff like that. gives everyone a base to start on with gear etc.
this past wipe, the game began to be offered for free to build the player base again.

otherwise, if you enjoy the game then do just that. it wont be for a month or two. depends on how long before each wipe. t his game is still basically underconstruction and changing constantly in little ways. people have been around for multiple wipes. each wipe you get better at the game.
ttrust me, when playing high roller or over 25 gear score lobbys youll want people to have a knockback of their BIS gear and stomping lobbys like no other. full gold kit teams absolutely demolishing.

Solos, I would run Charismatic performance, Rapier Mastery, Fermata, Superior Dexterity, always run double music memory, trios I would run Charismatic performance, Rapier mastery, Superior Dexterity, and then depending on if youre running with fighter/barb/other melee you can run war song, or if youre running with caster dps like wizard,warlock, you can run story teller. You want your resourcefulness at around 20-22 base without rousing rythms, if youre at that threshhold without fermata you can elect to run something like warsong/jolly time over fermata in solos

buffs you want to have up 100% of the time are Rousing Rythms, Beats of Alacrity, Aria of Alacrity, Ballad of Courage, and generally I like to ahve Harmonic Shield up, make sure you are using shriek of weakness on every encounter, you will win many more fights if you can land a shriek, survival bow is your best friend when fighting things like PDR Fighter, Barbarian, and even poking out things like bear druids or finding windows before you send on rangers/rogues/wizards

if youre not running rapier dont run rapier mastery, rapier is my perferred weapon since I find it easier to do things like cyclops/Cave troll/Ghost King, and i find it a lot easier to space out hits on things like smite cleric, Felling axe Barb, and PDR Fighters

rapier/buckler, and surv bow is my preferred setup, crossbow is viable if you prefer it

yes, look at the quest requirement. When you hover, it'll say what kind of item you need, and the gold bars are "handled", which is what happens when you buy something from the marketplace
