The fix for performace was to lower mob density in all maps, caves is so empty there's 2-4x more times chests per room than there are mobs, modules that used to have 13 mobs now have 4 goblins and one bat heavily spaced out.

Rooms are so empty it takes longer to open all the chests than to kill all the mobs, they are so empty you can b line anywhere on the map in under 3 minutes, rooms are so empty running through rooms without clearing isn't even a risk anymore.

From my knowledge of the last couple of wipes, it only resets the characters inventories and any karma reports you may have been given for blue/red names as well as the ranking for pathfinder etc. Your characters shouldn't lose their level if you already have them maxed to 20 unless they do it for major wipes but I think it was still there for me full level on my main class.

I was watching my friend exploring ice cave
He went into the wolf area, top left of the map. There is a lion chest inside two ice pillar, one ice skeleton archer with 2 skeleton (which u would need to jump on a normal chest, then jump on the ice pillar to get into), but he cannot find the exit after looting the chest. Sadly they've been made much more rare to prevent teaming in solos. A measure that has worked well, but In my opinion was taken too far.
Best bet is to bank on static extracts, the blue stairs on the map, hang around one at about the half way point on the match. Bring healing to tank zone and just wait for it to open. I had to do that until I was confident enough to fight over portals.

I'm speaking from Pathfinder, I've noticed it significantly less. I can easily imagine that both higher and lower players would still team, as higher skilled players are just as confident in extracting or going down. While lower skilled players are more worried about dying to players than escaping. That's just one example for both sides, I imagine there are countless reasons for it, however; not being able to extract is a massive deterrent that has worked wonders. Occasionally I see people double up, but since the change, I haven't seen an entire lobby grouping.

alright so i killed the troll in goblin caves on normal with the starter kit, i go in with a decent kit on high roller and my nerves were just shot. never go full blown, i did. im not sure if its adrenaline or anxiety or what but my hands started shaking, all control of the character became a panic. i would try the troll first, you can run in with starter kits and have a good chance to kill it, the cyclops has 2 rock raining phases that are luck whether or not you take damage. i had absolutely no hope trying cyclops with no kit, rogues with double jump have a better chance. run left and stay close enough to get behind that scream, just tedious with no kit. the hard part is that perfect balance of close enough to dodge scream but not get hit, beware of him screaming right after his big slam you gotta get way back for, got me killed so many times forgetting. also trying to drag him to the center but he screamed instead of following got me killed a lot

Also its almost definitely impossible to 100% dodge the rocks, jumping and sidestrafing seems to minimize your hits, but you need good damage to stop the phase early and ideally a pot to use in between the rock phases

note that after his second swing in the rocks phase, you can circle around and hit his head a few times since he always swings center>left>right>repeat. headshots are key to cutting off the phase at only 3 or so smashes

When they implement map selection all of my friends were like: Oh thats very nice. We all played a lot dark and darker before the latest patch and had a lot of fun. Lobbys on eu were not always complete full but also never empty. It was fine.
After the latest patch with the rotation nobody of us played 1 round of dark and darker. Everybody is pissed off. Its even way worse than the last map rotation that was not good.
Do devs want to bring back map selection or do they want the game to die?

Both axemen and barbarians, when i go to block i look at the axe and instead of it hitting my shield it just phases through

Don't try to block axemen, strafe to your left and hug the axemen for all of its moves. Pvp on the other hand is dynamic and unpredictable, you just gotta hope and pray.
