It does, for Crossy I was just using ration and knock back shot to troll but now that they buffed penetrating shot for armor pen 25% on top of crossy now doing 20% armor pen. You should use penetrating shot. Every other skill is useless for crossy so use rations

I'm partial to crystal sword and as much +add additional magic damage as you can manage. It double dips the stat for both your base attack and the skill, and magic damage cant be easily resisted. With a blue crystal sword and green +2's I've been able to hit a ~60 magic/~60 magic/ ~30 physical attack to the head. Not many people can survive that kind of strike regardless of armor

So this looks like there's some sort of corruption with your models, causing them to basically fold over onto one another. It's basically the equivalent of a GMOD error sprite, the model needs to interact physically with itself but can't. This one is a hard re-install. Delete all data files associated with either chaff or blacksmith as well as any data associated with dark and darker (you'll have to go digging as windows normally doesnt get rid of everything) Reboot your system and then re-install both the game and launcher. I wouldn't have anything else open while you download just to be sure it doesnt corrupt again.

If you rat hard enough you could make about ~30g easy a game. Let's say you play 4 games and make ~100g. Coming back the next day, you head into a normal and die. You need to re-kit or go back in with default gear. You could buy some greys for free agility or strength bonuses from the traders that might give you the edge u need to survive. But, after a week most people who play a lot after work or even people who play this game as a full-time job will have insane gear and 1/4 of those people might go to kill noobs for fun.

Yeah, but in tarkov u can kill someone with insane gear by getting a lucky shot on their head or through blunt damage. In dark and darker you cannot get lucky and kill someone insanely geared with greys unless they are extrememly bad or make a bunch of mistakes. You would have to hit them over 10 times while they just need 1 or 2.

If you don’t see any portals, could just be the caves having multiple floors and you got unlucky. Could be that other players took them, there’s not enough for everybody.

Not sure why they said "attribute bonuses" in the patch notes. It's just .5x from all sources now. So if your spell normally dealt 10 damage, and your magic power bonus+magic damage effects would have made it deal 20 damage before, it now will deal 15 damage.

It was kinda BS because Ambush and Rupture and other stuff would apply to the Hand Xbow, and it was really strong. They've added a perk for Rogues to get Hand Xbow back if they want, but Hand Xbow now has heavy distance damage falloff so it isn't as oppressive as it was before.
