For Rogue, True Physical Damage is probably the best, up there with True Magical Damage assuming the community is correct that it works with Poisoned Weapon. Then Flat damage increases, and then Physical Power or Strength.

For Wizard your best stat is True Magical Damage, up there with Flat damage increases, Magical Power, and +X% Magic Damage Increase and +X% Spell Casting Speed. Movement speed is also very important for both.

@mint skiff +att is a bonus to all attributes, so it is better than increases to Physical Power, Magical Power, or any other single attribute like Strength or Will or Agility.

For Rogue my priority order is True Physical > True Magical > +ATT > Weapon Damage / Physical Damage > Move Speed > Agility > Strength > Physical Power.
For Wizard my priority order is True Magical > Magic Damage > +ATT > Will > +X% Magic Increase > +X% Casting Speed > Move Speed > Agility

An important thing to keep in mind is that certain attributes are strictly better than certain stat bonuses. For example, +1 AGI gives you multiple increases to different things, one of which is Move Speed on a 1:1 ratio. Therefore, +1 AGI is strictly superior to +1 Move Speed, as it comes with it.

@mint skiff Knowledge is one stat whose conversion from X Knowledge to +Y% Spell Casting Speed is unknown to me, so I don't know where to rank it.

You're right, Spell Capacity is a wasted stat for Wizards because you're never really pushing the boundary of your spell list. Clerics however can find it useful.

@grand hearth Agility is action speed and move speed, STR is just damage. I find myself often taking +X Agi over +X Str

The problem i was trying to address is , people get better and better at wizarding and devs are nerfing wizard. So if this keeps happening playing wizard will be less fun. Less spells means more time meditating and a nerf to the haste spell means you need to apply it more often and this might make you more vunerable as you are trying to engage or flee an encounter. So yeah nerfs are hurting the fun. If wiz seems too strong maybe other classes are too weak. So make them all slightly better instead of nerfing wiz. Nerfs bad. Buffs good :) wouldnt it be more fun to buff all classes?

The cave troll has contained micro-patterns, but the whole fight doesn't have a concrete pattern. Some of the most important micro-patterns are:

1. If you are at range, he will often roar at you, slowing you. He will then sprint at you and do a lunging wide swing that is sometimes high and sometimes low, and most people seem to be unable to differentiate the two. Blocking it is your best bet, if you can.
2. If you are close to him and on his left side, he will usually do a backhand swing from his lower-left to his upper-right.
3. If you are close to him and on his right side, he will usually do a forehand swing from his lower-right to his upper-left.
4. Sometimes he will sprint at you even without roaring. He will do the same attack as if he had roared at you. Either jump it or duck it if you can tell which is which, but blocking it is again your best bet.
5. If he grabs his mace with two hands he is going to do a slam straight down in front of him that has a big aoe radius of damage and knockback. Just run away to outrange it

Wizard has 33 will by default and only 12 knowledge. Getting more will has diminishing returns, but getting more knowledge increases spell casting speed tremendously.

I think that even with the diminishing returns the extra spell damage outweighs the casting speed, until you hit the 40 Will threshold. In the end its probably personal preference whether you want to hit harder or hit faster.

So basically 5 knowledge points will shorten casting times by a quarter while 5 points in Will increases your damage by 10%. Killing the Lich just now, i had 4 Stacks of "auras" on me, 2 blue 2 purple. we seperated for the blue, joined for the purple, but then the colour was indistinguishable, and tried to seperate again but got hit, and then weren't grouped for the 4th one. i have a video if it is of any interest to anyone who knows.

Depends on your build. Generally people either run:

The first build is a combat rogue who maneuvers around people, the second is a stealthy rogue who stabs people in the back from invisibility. I'd recommend build 2.

@inner flax Roughly every point of movement speed makes you .33% faster or slower than the base speed. So if you divide your move speed penalty from armour by 3, that as a % is how much slower you are moving. So if you have a total of -30 move speed penalty from armour, you are moving 10% slower than base.

I have yet to see +1 STR not translate into at least +1 damage. The reason +X All Attributes is superior is that having an additional point in STR, AGL, Will, KNW, RSC is a measurable boost to everything. Magic Resist, Phy Power Bonus, Buff/Debuff duration... even movement speed. Having a single digit of additional physical damage even loses out to True Damage.

Don't get hit and hit him, but the way you do that is by playing do his slow swing speed. I imagine you're fighting a Battle Axe Barbarian, wait for him to start swinging, and strafe away from him out of his range, and then hit him while he is recovering from his swing.

@proven ocean Attributes give +%damage in a roundabout way, it isn't 1:1. They increase your Physical/Magical Power scaling, which most of the time (unless you're using a pitiful like 15 damage weapon) will result in more damage with +X Strength than +X Weapon Damage.

Additional/True damage is better for stuff that stacks with low damage. Like Ignite dagger is a lot better with additional damage than straight Will. Not only does the stab scale but the additional damage adds straight to to the Burn damage which can melt people.
