I totally agree with you. I want a dungeon crawler with a side of pvp not the other way around. Pvp should mostly be around the end when people are trying to extract or rarely when people happen to meet up in the dungeon. When I see expressions like this, I wonder where they came from. Like, "kiting" is like flying a kite. Holding the string (keeping the enemy at a certain range that suits you), then just like the kite string that you pull and release (in order to fly the kite), you are going towards and away from the enemy (in order to kill it more efficiently i.e. not get hit).

Yup. Lion and golden chests have a chance to be unlocked (seems like a 10% or so chance). The only other way to get them open is to have a lockpick or have a rogue with the lockpick perk. Your skills cannot unlock locked chests.

Like I told you, every attack has a direction that you have to aim your shield to block it. Since mobs don't seem to have attack-interrupted animations like players do when we hit shields or walls, their attacks will follow through regardless. So in that sense, yes, attacks will "phase through" your shield, but if you're blocking in the right direction it will block it.

I'm a zoomer with zoomer brain and pretty damn good reaction time, and I could not manage to do it even after 6 hours of practice. So now I only do cave troll with a Pavise, as it's super easy to just block the swing instead.

@stone yoke I wouldn't say "huge" per se, but it is definitely noticeable. You'll come out with a lot of really good loot that you wouldn't find in the normal.

Try using a Longsword instead. The parry is much weirder to pull off than other two-handed blockable weapons, but if you succeed you can immediately spam right-click to do two riposte attacks that basically instakill everything in front of you

That armor idea doesnt work, full plate barely does anything to keep you alive, sections that are non rare. The protection is like dark souls where thee armor and it's stats do jack shit to keep you alive. Explain one thing to me. We had a team of 3 people. We went to the highroll.. We killed the entire lobby. The zone was in a maze with spikes in the normal map pattern. We killed the entire lobby. No portals opened for us. It's been like this 3 times already. 3 times we died on a highroll not from people but from the zone. Portals don't appear. The zone is buggy and the portals can't see the space because it's full of walls. Could you fix it? We have all lost equipment with all +1-3 attributes third times. There is an obvious difference in the spawning of highroll portals from normal. I lose 2 hours on trade to buy items and then die through stupid portals. It's not my fault. I have a skill. It was the developers who invented themselves to die forcibly because of the lack of portals.

Wizard was brutally nerfed last hotfix, and although it's mostly opinion, I don't think having to stand still to cast one of, if not his best ability is very good. He can also run out of spells, and ranger beats wizard on many levels, ranger can instantly kill anything with two headshots and has infinite ammo, knight can soften enemies with a bow and finish then off with melee and cleric is just kinda a requirement. Wizard is great in speed barbarian composition, and you could swap cleric for wizard if you want. Again, it's very much mostly opinion and wizard is definitely not bad. Wizard certainly is one of the hardest characters to play and has a high skill floor.

Any dev talk on how they plan to combat cheating? Fought someone in a barb starter kit with a friend and together we did over 500+ damage at minimum with full purp gear but he did not die. He rushed our spawn less than a minute at the start of the game. When he inevitably killed us, in spectator we saw he was still over half his health despite getting hit with 2 combos from a purp castillion dagger that does over 200 damage per 3 hit combo + all the shots from my rangers purp bow.
