it doesn't increase ur total value for casting one spell. Ex: normally u have 5 casts from fireball, this perk its not going to increase to 7 casts. What it does is, in your spells tree, u have tier for ur spells, and u can, at the start, have a maximiun 12 cap. Ex: Fireball its tier 5 + magic missle +4 = 9, u can add one more spell with +3 max, to cap ur tree, the perk will increase this number (12+2) so u can able another tier 4 spell for example

Okay so shields don't have an extended or floating hitbox like most other games. You literally haven to put the shield in the way of the weapon being swung. The weapon "Hits" you if the weapon's hitbox hits your player hitbox. There is no chance from stats, it is literally skill based. You can block the same swing from an ally 100% of the time with no variation as long as the shield is preventing the weapon from actually hitting you.

Aiming at nothing targets yourself if possible, only way as far as I know, you can accidently cast all heals or buffs on AI and enemies and sometimes dead bodies so becareful with your aim

Invis potions are literally useless now. Takes 10 seconds to even drink one and the animation is still visible after that. It basically fades before the animation is done.

I've been shielded and healed by enemies in frantic fights so I understand haha, a heal or shield from an enemy cleric while you smack his front line is always so welcome and hilarious haha, try to kite behind enemy melees to put yourself between them and their healer, just watch for getting pinched or maged in the back haha.

I think that unlimited invis was too powerful and they will tweak the values later I'm sure, 40 secs on a green invis potion is still really powerful and helpful just takes more planning and tactics now.

The dangers of playing solo are many. In regards to the mages, the room tiles tend to spawn the same enemies, so you'll learn which ones have the mages / wraiths, and need to avoid them like the plague

The dagger and crystal orb if you want to melee. To be honest the crystal sword isn’t that great. It’s a slower cast animation and you lose base speed. A spellbook will let you move the fastest but you can’t melee with it.
