After the nerf do you think rupture or weakpoint is the better skill for the default rogue dagger?
depends on your enemy and playstyle. weakpoint is better for a more focused attack on someone with high armor like a barb or a fighter where rupture is better for a quick hit or two and backing off. The nerf to weakpoint is not that big because the 50% armor reduction is the real money.
Rupture won’t get more popular until 90% of lobbies aren’t grey gear/naked. The TTK for people in grey is so low that even with the nerf WA is still very strong.
Wait so does the magic damage of a sword compound or is the benefit that it just ignors armor?
Compound as in increase due to will or
I believe that the magic damage from the crystal sword does get increased by magic damage bonuses.
The magical damage of the sword is affected by your magical damage bonus %, so yes Will increases it's damage. It also has the benefit in that your +Magical Damage/+Magical True damage applies to it's swings as well as the phys equivalents of those stats.
Oh shit I knew it
my buddy was trying to convince me it didn't increase based on magic ability
Hey what is physical healing, it's not in the faq with all the modifiers
It theoretically can be the highest damage weapon because it's much easier to roll gear that has +flat damage of both types, and possible to roll 3-4 bonus damage modifiers
too bad casting with it can be a pain
Imagine being stacked in legendary gear that has +True Phys/+Phys/+True Magic/+Magic.
whats the best barb perks/skills?
Depends on what loadout usually for perks, Skills I prefer Rage/Warcry
whats the one i see them turning red and chasing me?
any fixes for error code 10 when trying to sell stuff?
I believe that is rage.
How does Pickpocket work?
If you go right next to a player there is an interact to steal a single item that is not equipped.
It needs a serious rework due to the fact if you are close enough to get a pickpocket off, you’re just going to kill them.
Ouch that feels pretty bad
What are some good wizard perks I should focus and equip?
Unlocked my first perk slot as level 5 atm
It is not a particularly good perk at the time, but perks aren't really supposed to be fully balanced this early in development. It does appeal to the class fantasy for sure though.
Agreed, that skill has NO place in the game except as a meme
And it’s not even that funny because of the only unequipped restriction
are there plans for four player parties?
The FAQ says there are thoughts for it, but nothing for sure.
Isnt WA always better because of the amor reduction?
I feel like the damage is always in favor of WA
(didnt test it)
I think it depends on play style
With gear, you can get the reduction you need. It’s nice from WA but I have found more success versus geared vs geared matchups using rupture + poison stacks is a safer way to deal with those tankier foes. The dot damage and disengage is very stable
And on the type of weapon used
If you're going to hit someone with a good dagger or more then once or twice with a less good dagger WA will do more damage, depends mostly on how quick you can do 20 damage with the skill.
(or a bit more if Rupture is buffed by stats)
Is rupture 20dmg per sec during 5sec or 20dmg overall?
@gaunt olive You seem to know rogue pretty well, any idea if the -3 from all damage perk of the clerics reduces rupture and poison damage?
AFAIK poison is not affected, but rupture might be. That is something I personally haven’t tested but will when my team gets on.
Neat, haven't been able to test it myself, got curious when I got stabbed and the bleeds seemed fast.
what is physical healing?
Bandages and what not.
so if i have physical healing on an armor it increases how much healing i get?
With bandages, yes. With cleric and shrine heals, no.
Potions are also magical healing.
Campfire is also physical healing I believe.
I think a rogue perk to use ranged weapons would be good
Not sure what the ranger ability "field rations" is considered, I would guess physical. It may not be affected by either physical healing or magical healing multipliers, though, given that it's a skill.
whats skull key used for
how do i link items into trade chat
Whats the ancient scroll do?
Shift click it
If you body shot with a fireball does it do both the direct damage and the splash damage?
Is it a % chance for a chest to be a mimic or will the same chests be a mimic every time?
% chance, but some chests (or rooms) seem to have a higher percentage than others.
Ok thanks
Is the Windlass bugged rn?
I don't believe so, why do you ask?
can you walk past the zombies that are eating?
Whenever I reload after shooting it acts as if I hadn't if I made any movement input before the reload.
what does the spellbook/crystal ball do for the wizard
less hitbox disruption
I believe for the windlass you are not allowed to move while reloading
I think that is working as intended. It may change eventually.
the staff will bump into walls
Hmm. I'll have to try it again at some point
is that the only benefit?
as far as i can tell
agi only affects attack speed on a rogue? so still smart to stack STR?
hmm
Currently the book/ball do not have any effects other than epic+ with additional stats.
okay thanks
You can use them with a crystal sword, however, so you can cast with the sword (which does magic damage as well as physical)
I'd suggest quick chant, its a nice all-rounder to get the spells out and is especially useful if you are going solo or duo, as you may not be able to get more then one spell out before you are in close combat otherwise. also nice to be able to quickly change to a new spell in full group combat if the situation changes, your melee fighters getting to close to the enemy for a fireball for example.
Otherwise I'd suggest either Arcane or fire mastery, depending on whether you tend to favour fireball or arcane missile in combat, for some quick extra damage.
ah okay that seems good
It can be :)
do stats in the offhand effect you?
like not second hand but the one in the second weapon slot
Only equipped items give you stat bonuses.
okay
You don't get the bonuses from the 2nd staff unless you equip it. Sitting in the slot (on your back) will not give you the bonuses.
how do i play barbarian with no gear basically?
Probably better asked in general/discussion tbh. Might get more people to help contribute ideas/strategy
AGI is action speed and interact speed for everyone, not just Rogue
How do you insert an item into your message in trade post so that others can hover over it to see the stats
Shift Click
thanks!
How else can you get the golden key aside from getting it from the Champion in the center?
where can i report someone for scamming a roll item, they said they would roll? so other grps can be careful for them // they took item and left grp with their duo
Thats the only way. 10% drop from the captain
ah ok
Don't think there is a place for that tbh. #report-wicked-mod-only is more for cheaters and not really for people not honoring something said
ahh ok cause its the cleric that wants to try and cheat the lich kill leaderboard, hes with a duo and i guess gonna tell others to force give him kill for leaderboard lol playtest ends in 2 days so he got mad /// he only has 12 lich kills like not a big deal, 2nd guy has only 9 kills on lich
@abstract basalts can you make npc weapons have collision also, i'm kinda sick of dying from swords and wraith weapons going through walls, doors and bars
People gonna game what they gaonna game
hello, im sure this has been asked and im sorry, but does equiping castelon increase the damage of rapier?
Not unless it is purple +and has stats
cool ty
agility also effects movement speed and interaction speed
is there any difference between a spellbook (gray) and a spellbook (blue)
Nope
has anyone tried the creep perk on rogue? feels like it doesnt lower the sound enough making it useless
does 5 true magic damage on weapon work for flat weapon dmg? or is it spells
Best rogue perk is fr33 picks
Your own sounds always sound louder than what others perceive. That being said, it's so so. Lightfoot boots are quiet enough
What does Spell Memory stat do
Let you cast spells
no its a stat
@plain root agreed just unsure on which other ones to use
You mean spell capacity?
yes
That doesn't do anything currently in this build
ok what about Knowledge?
Spell Casting Speed Interaction Speed (Magical)
gives cast speed and magical interaction speed
how do you see this stuff
honestly just equipping items and looking at my stats changes
#❓faq or Fopdoodle button on the menu, or just check your character sheet when changing them
does true magic dmg effect flat dmg from a weapon like a sword
true magic damage adds resistance bypassing magic damage to spells, the crystal sword, and possibly the rogue Rupture passive but thats it
I just take my boots off when I wanna be sneaky
To be fair, naked footsteps are louder than most shoes
And I like the one that gives me 10 steps in stealth
is there a way to start in 2nd dungeon?
To be fair, you start on the second floor of 3 in this playtest. If you mean the bottom (3rd) floor, no
oh okay so normally there another floor up
just saw someone saying about starting on second floor , thanks for clarification
No worries 🙂
is judgement a 20% slow? or only if they have ms buffs their buffs are 20% less effective? its worded weird
what does crystal ball do?
Offhand weapon for wizard. Think it allows casting like spell book but for dual weapon wizards
do you still have to play minigame if you have lockpicks? do you lose lockpicks if you fail?
Yes and yes
what is the difference between crystal ball, staff and spell book?
The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. For instance, the crystal sword is great if you want to be a battle mage and cast spells while also bonking people on the head. The staff is terrible for halls because it has wide casting animations, but also lets you bonk slightly stronger than sword. And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
Spell Casting Speed Interaction Speed (Magical)
Mister MaddCow, which is best weapon for barbarian ?
where can I learn what knowlege does
I'd say Bardiche is the best for versatility on old Vinnie Barbarino.
#❓faq , fopdoodles button on main menu
ah ty mister malkavia
np
I love SNEAKIN. I love LOOTIN. And I love STABBIN
This game is amazing, I'm so hype for release
Wraith?
And how tough are the helmeted skeletons
Not too bad, but unless you are geared or know the fight, prally gonna kill you
The guy I'm talking about is usually in the center of the map or on the edges
What do you do with "failed {result code:10]
Yea; every time so far he's wiped my group; but we are Uber noobs
how to fix
Just strafe left while hugging him, he whiffs all attacks.
That seems to be a strat for a lot of enemies
That's sort of the nature of the combo that is incredibly precise hitboxes, and no move speed minus for strafe.
What's the fighters base HP pool and why does he feel Uber squishy vs the barb?
100
what armor are ya wearin?
fighters are wrapped in tissue paper on a fresh spawn.
What does a spellbook do?
like the soft part on the top of a newborn's head xD.
Increased damage or something?
A barb with a blue+ weapon will typically be doing at least 120 on headshot before mitigation.
can i use a spell on myself as a wizard?
The fontanelle iirc
That's a crit weakspot
Insta kill I hear 👀👀
So what’s best weapon for wizards?
Wdym migration? Sans armor?
How does armor rating affect incoming damage?
What does a spellbook do? Compared to the base rotten wand
Yes, before the physical damage reduction that is provided by armor/items/perks.
How's that calculated?
In stash/inventory, you can see in the open details tab of your stats the numbers. It's just Incoming damage reduced by %, except in the case of something like the Clerics -3 flat damage perk.
I see. Cleric is the only class I haven't played. Which class is the most solo noob friendly?
I like barbarian a lot, but most parties have at least one ranged attack and I'm inevitably screwed when I encounter them
They all have their own upsides and downsides in terms of casting implements. The Staff has melee good damage/range but will often fail casts because it will hit walls during casting animation. The spellbook is very good at not failing animations, but takes both hands. The orb allows you to have a main-hand dagger to not have to deal with swaps, and the Crystal sword has a bit of a clunky animation like the staff, but does half it's melee damage as magic damage, and therefor can benefit from your +magic damage gear you likely would be wearing.
Rogue and ranger are probably the most friendly. High dex/resourcefulness means quick opening of doors/chests. They both have perks that help them avoid enemy parties.
Thank you @grand umbra
does arcane mastery only affect magic missile? or fireball too?
one major question I have, Do clerics get XP from healing and casting spells? Or is it only for looting, escape and kills?
hmm, I feel like that should be worked in since Clerics are more of a support and that is what they spend most of their time doing.
Use your undead AoE on skullbat rooms
Not perfect, but helps
Also get tot he bottom floor
Living or not you get a good chunk for just getting down there
What do you mean by bottom floor
Take red portals
taking a down portal probably
I see, havent had much luck with loot on that floor thh
Tbh
Never even seen another play down there lol
Explains things a bit lol
most players just dont have the gear or the meds for that floor, but ive been down there with 9 people before was crazy
does arcane mastery only affect magic missile? or fireball too?
does move speed such as "Move Speed -20" mean it will slow me down that much while in my inventory, or it will slow me down that much while holding it?
So i can fill my inventory and have the same move speed?
So this game isnt like cycle thank gooooooooood
What do the different "Tiers" of spellbook do? (White name, blue name, ect...)
Does armor type (plater, leather) matter at all?
No, just the raw values
ahh alright, thank you!
do enemies detect you no matter what when you are close enough to them or can you actually go past them with stealth (no light, walk slow, not wearing boots, etc)? 🤔
does victory strike work on bows?
Proximity
No real stealth mechanics
is the white ghost the lich or the king?
can i buy stacks of bandages or do i have to buy 1 and 1 ?
its 1 at a time but they stack to 3
then not exactly sure how am I supposed to evade other players... it seems to me that most of the time that means going into rooms with AI enemies so I get spotted anyway 😅
turn off the lights and become one with the darkness
I would assume king? it's the guy who has the big lava golem inside with him, That blows up the ground
So um, I guess this question might have been answered a tons already. But does the bow dmg scales with stats ? Does STR applies to the physical dmg they do ?
yeah i made it to the hell boss once and got rekted
Str applies to ALL weapons since all do physical damage (Except Crystal sword that does both phys and magical)
How do I open coin purse?
@sinful cypress I think you just drain it (spend)
You can alt click drag but only take out 10 at a time
tyty
Does anyone have a completed map of the play areas?
for the spellbook, whats the difference between the blue and the regular? it doesnt list stats
Nothing right now
Will everything be wiped between this play test and next? I would assume so but buddies are telling me otherwise.
Yup
how can i sell in the trader?
so theres no way to regain spells as wizard besides meditate right?
@summer forge yes with a fireplace
anyone know what advantage you get as a rogue to use the castille dagger as a secondary, you can hit with both at the the same time so it seems like just an aesthetic thing really
when i can just spam rapier fadster
I have a question, what are the Lich's mechanics?
Combo 3 on cast dagger does mucho damage
only shields can block
Yeah but apparently there is a way to parry
does the rogue poison work on mobs?
Longsword can parry the best so far, other 2hs don't have it implemented yet
ah thanks mang i was racking my brain trying to figure it out
What button is kill?
what does true magic damage do? is it only applicable for wizards and clerics?
True anything just means it bypasses all resistances/armor. Only effects items/spells that have that as a base
so plus 2 true magic damage for a rapier would not affect it?
Correct
what if i use poison perk that applies magic damage
I believe poison is phys, but I haven't been able too test dummy because insta lobbies
it says in its description magic but im not sure.. hypothetically if it is applying magic damage. would the true magic damage buff go over to it?
Poison is magic
what physical healing means ?=
If it is magic based yes
Do I have to hit my friends in order to heal ? lmao
Phys healing = bandages and poitions
Haa I see
so any magic modifier go over to poison per hit?
If it's magic based
ok thank you
Sure thing
like a campfire? or something else
how do you link weapons in the trade post?
Shift click
you the best
Does Magic true damage stats or the equivalent in physical applies to every hits or just to their respective damage type ?
Does the quality of a Spell Tome do anything? like does a blue tier Spell Tome cast faster than a grey tier one for example
Nope, not currently
I assume its the same for all casting weapons. Thanks for the info sir
Crystal sword changes damage values but ya
oh, thats cool to know
Does a blue spell book give your spells more damage than a white one?
there is any chance that there is going to be perks for the other weapons (like ranger having perks for crossbows)
No
Most likely, the game is still REALLY early in development
The spell books currently don't' have any differences besides the purple one having stats attached to it.
is that the same for all casting implements?
I read that + true magic damage wont apply to regular weapon attacks, but what about +additional magic damage?
Except crystal swords, yes
so my longbow is going to do a bunch of extra magic damage, cool.
ik, just wandering if we could get a estimated time
10 months into development
Release Q4 next year
Magic damage doesn't work on anything except crystal sword. Needs base magic damage for it to add more
oh, i see
However
I'm only 90% confident. I can never test shit at the dummy. Lobbies start too fast 😢
I guess I could try it with my current setup if the lobby doesnt insta-start
Let me know
Try once with and once without
It's just getting to it 😄
anyone know how to xp works? like can i go in and loot a hole buncha shit and the more mobs and players i kill the more i get?
got a bunch of +whatever damage gear on my ranger, stash is practically full
XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.
Same
When I was doing the wiki/database stuff for stats I had half my stash full of + different stat gear
Just to measure what does what at what thresholds
sweet thank you
My pleasure 😄
really need the option to buy extra stash tabs. heck i'd pay 1k or more for extra storage, would take gold out of the economy as well
one more question anyone know when the next playtest is?
Extra stash tabs in the works
No set time
I thought there was going to be one at the end of every month?
true
what does a gold candelabra do. do I just sell it?
Vendor food
Does Magic Damage / Magic Power increase the dmg of Rogue Poison?
I would assume so, but I haven't been able to 100% verify with test dummy
is armor rating taken into account as a whole or per limb
Hour can you get pass floor traps?
Jump the corners, if you have elevatoon and speed jump the whole thing, otherwise chuck a torch on it and as soon as the spikes go down move.
What specifics are you talking about? @polar tundra
How does the lower floor of the dungeon work? Only got there twice but got my ass kicked. Do you need to kill the boss to make a escape portal appear?
No, 4 pop up just at the end, 1, 1 and 2
Sometimes the portals will spawn on the boss though, which us always a treat. -_-
Trick or treat 😄
How do you kill these Blue floating boys
With lots of patience.
Will effects duration but isn't shown on char. sheet
Also, Action speed scales with other things, and if you haste that increases it as well
How far will monsters chase you until they lose aggro?
If it says +1 yeah, but without knowing exactly what is happening hard to say what else might be increasing it
also, what are we calling the blue floating dude? what's his name
A good ways
Wraith
dur
So honestly, whats the moveset Wraith has? I haven't been able to fight them long enough to learn how to beat them effectively. As a Cleric / Fighter duo
How do I do more damage with spells?
Swing, lunge and I think bigger lunge? Maybe just swing and kunge
Will + magic damage
So you just side step him? or can you block it for 0 dmg?
Side step is generally ewaiser/safer unless you have really bad movespeed
Definetily swing and lunge
You can block the swing for sure, but its a pain.
Agreed
aim up or down or mid?
I think the lunge just whacks you.
But his 'lunge' phases through most of the time
I couldn't tell you with consistency. Wherever the attack is plus some extra is the general idea.
are gems only for selling?
Yup
What does Skull Key do?
Opens skull door on B3
is there a difference between physical power and physical damage
and do they just add to my weapon dmg essentially
wizard need a buff XD been maining him for a while and archer seems better than I'm in every way from offence to support maybe he has a little bit better defense but not much
Yes, one is a flat increase and the other is a % increase
i have both that arent % tho
To be fair, not saying they do/don't need changes, but a good deal of people play the wizard like a ranger and expect similar results
Wizard is much more support than DPS like ranger
i have +4 physical power and +4 physical dmg
Wizard Haste / Invis just so good as support
so its the same thing just named differently?
Physical power adds to your Physical power % score on your sheet. Thats the % modifier. The other is flat damage
oh
true i have been playing him solo up till now too
which is technically better
Depends, large damage weapons tend to want Phys power, quick want flat
yeah, they are hard to figure out solo. Invis + Haste is your mainstay and knowing when to book and when to not
ok Madcow i have a question then if you dont mind
Sure
can i dm you
I suspect the difference between +weapon damage and +physical damage is that the weapon damage is multiplied by your physical power multiplier, but the "flat" phys is not. Has anyone confirmed this?
I think it is all added before the multiplier tbh
Sure
What is the difference in the circles in the Lich fight? Purple = stack, blue = dont stack?
Pm'd
Blue and purple are the same, red is don't stack
It might just be an extra damage increase roll only available to weapons to be fair.
The blue 'orb' is what you drag into minions
Yeah we got a blue circle around us, all stacked and then died
i thought you stacked for blue too?
Thank you!
I feel that one of the blue/purple hurts much more then the other. Is it perhaps the blue is the same damage to all in the range, and purp is shared then?
Unless they changed the 'red' aura to a 'blue' aura, purple is the one you stack
There is a Red, blue, and purple. The red just kills the player if you walk into range.
That being said, this is based from last playtest, my group isn't doing boss testing so you can try hitting a discussion channel to verify
Yeah red is basically a bomb
Stay away
But I've felt in the same fight, the blue and purple did significantly different damage values with same players
Obviously hard to look at numbers to confirm though.
There may be a new mechanic that I don't know about then
If you find out please let me know
I haven't screwed around with them enough this test 🙂
Blue you single soak
Purple you group soak
Good to know. I'm glad they are adding more mechanics to him thoughj
Did the boss 3-4 times today, looks like its %max hp damage
Yeah that sounds about right
And then it restores it over time, correct like previously?
Purple will evenly spread the damage evenly
Blue will do about 50% to each person hit
Wdym restores?
In the last two playtests after the aoe purple aura hits everyone their HP gets restored right after
Over time of course
Our hp did not get restored
I've not seen that at all
Hmmm I wonder if they changed that to
I think I saw someone's clip show that it was working that way
But I'd have to go through and find it
I can upload one of our boss runs if youd like to watch it
For rogue backstab is 30% physical bonus damage 30% more base damage or?
After all your base damage is totaled, 30% on top of that
I don't think you can
KEK
its just us 3 vs ghost man
Im in a group with 2 others in almost full purples and were getting just blasted
Well when we first walked in we killed both lava guys, once we did that we started hitting boss. Don't stop moving. We did it with 2 rangers and a cleric.
He will teleport to a player; you are able to dodge this damage if you have enough agility.
There's also the mechanic where he will jump into the air, you want to jump before he hits the ground to avoid damage. This was like 50/50 on whether we were able to negate the damage
The last mechanic is the stun, we were able to avoid this mechanic after we killed it once. He will stun a player and will slowly kill the player, just have your cleric spam heals on him.
Does rogue Ambush work for invis pots too?
Yes
Yes, I was finally able to test it, 100 works with them. I would assume the same with wiz. invis, but I don't have a wiz friend to test and getting tot he dummy with invis potion itself took WAYYYYY too many rounds 😄
@whole sluice this was our scuffed lich kill
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7peOU7g0Oq8
I can hop on my level 1 wizard and test it with you really quick if youd like
i thought for blue you dont stack
and you wont die
You don't stack blue
You stack purple
he died because he got hit by its skill shot as well
if you watch it slow motion, he got hit by the purple bolt + the blue circle
Look at 1:19-1:20 You see how you regain like 1 or 2 hp at atick. Fel also got it
I'm pretty sure it's still in, it's just not super noticable
More so because you have a cleric and heal it
I had a pot rolling
oh this was pre pot
Yup
I'm supposed to be in bed 😄 Maybe tomorrow?
Yeah, it's minor, don't know if it changed, but I felt like it ramped up quickly over time. I think it's to make it so you aren't forced to have a cleric or tons of high level healing items
But... I dunno
Oh well, haven't done boss testing this time so not sure all the nuances that changed etc...
Dunno, haven't tried bossing this time around
We're busy working on wiki and database stuff this time around
For sure
I think we got most of the stuff we wanted. If we REALLY wanted to get special credit, I'd love to know the exact XP formula as well as monster HP/Damage for both regular and their elite versions that are in
But honestly, I spent enough time with spreadsheets so far, just might dink around playing for funsies
Anyways, I'm out tonight. Have good runs in the Dark!
@digital quiver We need an mmr system for yolorage in full legendary. where he can fight with people like him
is there any way to tell the "item level" of my character? a scoring based on how good the gear you have equip is (it might be useful when recruiting people)
i'd recruit based on skill, not on what items they are wearing, that seems like a tool for trolls tbh. only allowing high item level players and ganking them at the start
Also trading system or market is very cool but could have filtering or maybe class set guilds to join for specific gear and discussion
Will they be wiping inventory/stash after the end of the test?
MMR is good, but it seems to me it may well wait until EA or even release. bugfix, balance and stats implementation are much more important now.
Yes, and the chars too
whats the difference between the crystal balls and staffs and spellbooks
Anyone know what resourceful stat does?
does de-aggroing the lich regen his hp ?
spellbooks gives the most move speed but you cant melee stuff
crystal balls let you equp a dagger on the other hand
staff is two handed that lets you hit stuff
and crystal sword is thrash xD
Yes
ty i'm thinking a way to solo him
I bought a purple crystal sword with +4 phys and +4 magic damage on it and tried to melee fight a starter geared fighter and lost. It is literally impossible to use that weapon effectively.
you also get -30 move speed and longer casting animation
You got to remember he has better armor and a heal ability and that this isn't the discussion chat
The only redeeming quality I can think of is that it maybe scales well if you already have +magic damage stats on the rest of your gear? Either way yeah probably safe to say it's trash for now.
How exactly does pickpocket work?
you just walk up and press F on them to take a random item from their inventory
If you have it equipped you can approach an enemy player in a match if you are within touching distance. A prompt will come up where you can 'pickpocket' them. You will then 'steal' one item from their non-equipped backpack. If they have nothing to steal it will let you know
pickpocket them in the tavern as practise
So does it require stealth or anything? I imagine most enemies aren't going to let you get within fondling distance
It doesn't need stealth the skill but it does need stealth, yeah.
How invisible is the rouges invisibility for other players?
Complete aside from an initial shadow image thing.
Sit on a damn torch if you want, no one is seeing you.
THats odd, since i heard someone break the door. Immediatly stealthed, and a berserker turned the corner, buffed up and put a nice crack in my head
Did they have a ranger in the party do you know?
any solution to error code 10 on traders
Don't have pouches in character inventory is one thing I've heard.
where can i use the golden key?
As far as leveling your class per game what gives the most XP. Is it just if you survivte / exit or does each mob have XP on it? Just trying find out best way to grind a rogue since they suck w/out perks
wtf does pickpocket do in game like how do u use it
Yeah again you do leave a like 1 second fading shadow behind so if they ran right through the door after you stealthed then probably saw that. Otherwise could have just been a guess, I randomly melee a lot in case of rogues.
I murder as many NPCs as I can, nets a good amount even if you die, going to B3 and escaping us good too.
Particularly if I hear some random noise nearby.
@lavish elk Neat I'll have to check it out. Last time I checked out B2 the portals spawned on the fire / ice dude room and was sketchy to escape. IDK what B3 looks like 😛
does the fighters duel wield perk affect two handed weapons?
The floor you spawn on is B2, the next down is B3.
B1 is yet unmade.
Oh neat TIL thanks
And yeah that's an occasional bug with the second boss that can happen.
Oh, wait no I thought you meant spawned on the boss.
Smorc main here, thats what we do sorry. You filthy little sneakers absolutely stink and we will smash through doors and smash you out of your corner without remorse. Try not to be so obvious where you stealth, you may be invisible but I still have a working brain, you all stealth within a 2 second walk from doorways so why would we not swing our massive weapons around in the hall for a meter or 2?
Yeah, the portals sometimes show up in boss room.
@lavish elk Wait we start on B2 is that why mobs seem so overtuned for new chars with no gear? B1 been teased at all or is it being added cause of feedback about mobs to strong on B2?
B1 isn't made yet, but its on purpose yeah.
And yeah that's why basic gear seems so lacluster into PvE
anywhere I can get a guide that shows how +true magic differs from +magic power etc?
True damage is just that, otherwise ipen your character sheet in match to see your stats.
I'm really hoping for an offline testing range.
so is it adding to your weapon on hit? also would magic power benefit the rogue perk that does magic dmg?
Fairly certain, and no idea
how does cleric revive work
What do each of the shrines do exactly, when I mouse over the buff it doesn't tell me
do you need team mates soul, also does being in the swarm area cancel out the revive
Don't take the soul out of the body.
Completely stops you from using the spell.
Just cast ut look at their corpse
Anyone know how to do the riposte attack on the longsword? If you have one equiped and look at the details page, you can see two lines for riposte attack
Hold right click to block, if you successfully block and attack immediately right click again and it will do an attack.
Like, I need to release the block button and just hit it again?
Yeah, really fast though.
can someone explain the lich's mechanics to me?
i know theres a homing orb that one shots, he summons adds and that he does some other ranged attack, but what is the purple circle?
what's physical healing? is it bandages and campfire?
Does standing on the white dot at the end of the match no long takes you to hell?
Is there any bonus for dual-wielding?
cow when to bed, i'll just ask later
Purple Aura deals a lot of total damage, but it's shared among those within it - stack on it.
Blue Aura seem to be the opposite - spread from it.
Based on observations from our successful kills
does it last forever after the fight, or is it only cosmetic?
videos ive seen it lasts till extract
as in cosmetic bug i mean
🤔 It's a boss fight mechanic, so should be just for the duration of the fight. Lich has a lot of bugs though.
yeah, thats fair. doesnt matter too much if its only 1, and with a cleric anyways. didnt seem like it was bothering them too much anyways
thanks for the help!
does lich do magic damage?
i dont see why the lich's damage would be physical. the skeletons would be purely physical though
Does anyone know if Dual-wielding has any bonuses for holding 2 weapons simultaneously?
It feels like I'm just using two weapons at the same time and it makes me move slower for no benefit
Is there the standard DnD 15% attack speed boost or w/e?
you can swing faster, with two different angles.
protip for dualwielding. Hold both mouse buttons
Left click and then right click and hold both for the full combo
Ahhh that's the kind of information Im' looking for Spardis, thank you
I didn't know you could hold both but yeah you can also click left or right immediately after doing the other to mix up your swing pattern.
horsemans axe + hatchet is pretty gross for the head bonks
You also get the stat bonus from purple+ weapons when holding both I believe. Otherwise its most for the extra chained attacks.
difference in magical interaction / casting speed?
trying to sell and i keep getting failed result code 10. Any known fixes? tried restarting
remove your gold purse in your inventory before selling
Worked Thanks
Magical interaction is apparently for things like opening portal etc, but according to sages, they dont seem to work atm
I've been running with the longsword for the most part. Been super fun so far. And, since I'm running around in mostly oranges and purples at this point, I feel I can get away with practicing the parry+parry attack
I'm really hoping merchants end up selling the crappiest options of all the weapons so I feel can feel good practicing things like the longsword.
ohh thank you
magical power / magical damage difference?
whats the point of using two daggers as a rogue?
faster stabs, better combo etc
the weapons you use dictate how you're going to hit your enemy
it doesnt feel faster spamming left click and right click then it does with just one dagger
also did they change something with monster attacks? monster just killed me with a sword swing through a closed door, do their weapons not bounce off surfaces like ours do anymore?
expect bugs
it wasnt taht way day before yesterday
expect bugs
So I found some orange candy
It says jack o'lantern would be interested
But I can't it to him
is it for a quest, for a future update?
its the currency for the shop./
sorry so i just got two daggers now, im holding both mouse button, i swung with seconday once and then the rest of the auto attacks seem to be just primary
am i doing something wrong?
What does savage roar do, the barbarian ability?
hiw do you parry? do you hold block and swing when they hit you? do you block right before they hi lt you?
Is there no ingame chat?
There is not.
i was wonder the same thing
Outside the trade channels I suppose, but I believe you were referring to mid-delve.
why tf can skeletons get so close to you that the attack spawns inside your body and cant be blocked? like why is that a thing?
Does everything reset after the playtest?
If you're dying to one on one skeles you got bigger problems and it's not the games fault
Yes
thank you
Np
is there any strategy to cross floor spikes without taking damage except to be fast enough to completely jump over
What does Phyiscal power bouns do?
you can stagger enemies.
Enemies can be staggered and you need to be careful with positioning
hit them in the head.
Physical power helps with staggering enemies?
no
What does knowledge do? Like what does it affect
will our inventory in the match (our kit) get wiped? because i was in match with good stuff
Just installed the game and played a bit. Im suffering a lot. I can't survive 5 min. Any tip? Started with the rogue and it seems the dagger it's so shit. Next with the fighter, and a bit better, but still suffering a lot
:/
rogue seems like a hard class to start
OH THIS IS THE QUESTION ROOM! will we be able to keep items that we earned in our storages? and what about our levels? if anything u can @ or DM me :)
maybe you should try a fighter to get comfortable with the game
i was playing it with no sucess either
I don't like much the pressure of the circle BR mechanic tho, all players will end in the middle and most players i run to are duos or trios. The spawns a a bit weird, spawning near to other players
i was always missing solo queue in this type of games gotta say
Try going with the ranger for a few rounds. Just to get a feel - has the most forgiving PVE, a self heal and a campfire by default. When you hear other players set your trap and remain quite. Melee PVE is simple but unforgiving: Hit, walk backwards to dodge, repeat.
same for me , i don't really like the BR mechanics but you can get used to it
success as a solo will always be difficult, try to get anything out the exit and then buy a few low level potions for your next runs for any survivability
usually the blue exits are near the middle of the map and they spawn after 5 or so minutes
most things are dodged by running backwards a bit, and you can run backwards faster by fully turning around
Generally when a server crashes you'll have the same loadout you went in with, as if the match didn't happen.
No, everything will be wiped between playtests.
is there any way to make keys toggle or no
They've stated they were working on various keybinding and options like toggle vs hold, but I don't believe that one is specifically yet implemented.
thanks homie 👍
:''') oh the misery
Anywhere i can find a list of mobs and there names?
Anyone know?
Annyone know what the Litch projectile size fix is?
Quick question, what does the crystal ball do for you as a wizard?
Lets you cast while carrying a knife
how magic missiles only sometime trace target?
How do i use Gold Coin Purse?
Ive got 200 of them and i have no idea how to sell or what to do with them
You just drag gold into them
Yea then it shows error 10
Sounds like a bug. Should work!
i mean if i try to sell it
idk ive never had this item and just received it via trading
Its just to tidy up storage
Anyone know how Cleric revive works? I tried to cast the spell on my dead ally and nothing happened.
the stash it's individual to any character?
Yes, stash is character specific
@wide iris cast it on them like normal, make sure you're somewhat close by and do not move what so ever once it begins
It will take a little bit of time to complete and show a bar to either cancel or view progress
It has a pretty obvious sound and animation now.
How do you kill the blanket boss? I'm unable to understand the mechanics it has
How can i get out of the raid successful? I tried solo, in group. My stash is always empty because 1:30 raids is successful. I played alot of hunt showdown and tarkov. Shouldnt be that i hard or am i wrong ?
Started yesterday and it feels like everybody outgears you, to the point that you dont even have heals
What class are you?
is there a way to play in solo only lobbys ?
No
Let's say I start game 1 with newbie gear
I find some blue boots, and manage to escape through blue portal
Then I die during game 2
Do I start game 3 back with newbie gear?
Yes
Wraith King applies a stacking slow on the player it's aggroed on. Step one is to kill the Lava golems so you don't just die to their AoE attacks due to said slow. Then it's mostly just don't be too tight of a group for when it teleports to a player and does damage in an AoE around it, and to jump when it starts to fall from up high as it yells.
ok
good then,, it's more fair for new players
If you're going to play solo mostly, stick with Rogue or Fighter, Rogue's are sneaky and easy to escape with and Fighters have an easier time with tough situations.
But with starter gear you will suck at pve
Try and avoid fights too until you learn a bit more about the game and just collect enough money naturally from loot to get bandages, it becomes a lot easier when you aren't constantly 20% HP.
Much appreciated! We were doing it earlier with a very nicely equipped Fighter and he said everything went black and half his HP was gone in a second. Is that the teleport-to mechanic?
1 skeleton 20 seconds loud combat atleast
Aim for the head, starter gear on a fighter doesn't take that many hits against a majority of mobs
It takes practice but with a Rogue using Rupture and Weakpoint you can kill generic skeletons with around 5-6 headshots. Jump backwards after you notice them nearing a swing and you can learn to time it a little bit. I'd steer away from fighting anything range unless you are either with a team or playing a ranger yourself.
Someone knows if in the future the stash would be shared between characters of the same account??
Okay, thx.
Np, skills make everything easier too. If you can get level 15 on a character the skills will improve your gameplay drastically.
What is a good level 15 wizard build?
for example I got Mana surge,Quick chant,Fire mastery and Sage for perks
Meditation and Spell memory for skills
how does the wizard meditation work? It states "40 spell points" but seems to return very few spells
My advice for new players is to always play in party (try to bring at least one class that has a shield), always prepare yourself before entering the dungeon (buy badges and campfires, as campfires can recharge abilities that have limited uses), understand your role in the fight and adapt as the fight goes on. At early stages try to loot the most you can (specially try to replace the starting gear as it's very bad), most classes can destroy jars and wooden boxes, while rogue can open chest very fast (delegate roles to looting and clearing) and call out for items others may need. Be aware of positioning and engaging, you want the enemy to play in the unsafe side and be unprepared for your attack (buff yourselves and don't blindly rush). Consider doing the Pois with a rouge as they drop nicer items
Each spell has a different value of "spell points" that refresh a charge. When you meditate, it restores those spell points to each spell. So if you cast one of each and meditate, you're going to get more over all "casts" back compared to just depleting just your Fireballs and meditating.
What is the advantage of a crystal ball?
Theres no wiki afaik, so I just keep asking questions here as the ingame documentation is very narrow
A few of the sages have been working on compiling info for some form of public documentation, but nothing has yet come of it outside of various posts in this discord.
Oh, on that topic... is there any benefit in using rouge cloth headwear over the leather one? The leather one has better base stats (perhaps it has something to do with the possible rolls?)
cast speed is the same but im pretty sure the cast animation is better
Weird. I was like on top of my ally, just fizzled out.
When you cast spells with the staff if you bang a wall or an object the spell is consumed and failed
Should cast like all the other healing spells, Just be sure you're not moving at all. Don't stand directly on them or you might hit the floor or wall.
Does the crossbow scale with STR like the other physical dmg weapons?
All casting implements will cancel the spell if they collide with something, but crystal ball/spellbook have a very small area that they will collide.
STR adds bonus physical power, which does apply to all weapons.
Tmk it does. I know it does not scale off of agility at least
Okay, would be cool if it doesn't for realism purposes.
?
what does ancient scroll cracked do?
Thanks all. Lot going on probably just missed I guess 😄
It's just a loot item to sell to collector.
when can you dual wield as a rogue?
Specific weapons are secondary rather then primary weapons.
whgats the point of offhanding weapons?
dual wield
ik but why?
does it swing faster?
more damage?
ik fighter has a perk for higher damage
Well just depends on the weapon but yes more often than not it will be faster
Different weapons based on sizes and swings are faster or slower
just hold left click then?
so spam both?
I haven't personally messed with it much, but apparently you can cancel one weapon into the other weapon swing for a overall faster attack speed then simply attacking with one on it's own.
you can cancel the rapier stab recovery animation by attacking again halfway through the recovery. stupid fast stabs.
Just a sellable thing for gold
Can somebody do a test for me? Can somebody go into game and test to see if you can jump and immediately swap weapons to cancel some of the slow movement you get from swapping weapons
I was doing it the other day and I couldn’t figure out if it was faster or not but it felt like it was
does the fighter perk dual wield applys to bows
No it applies to primary and offhand
Dual wielding weapons
ok
Where can I report someone with a racist name?
but that is for hackers only
u can report it all there
done, thanks
How would you reload if you had 2 bows?
"Increases AR acquired from armor by 10%" WHAT IS AR?
AR = armor
ty
no problem 🙂
Ok, I'm back around
all you now 😄
Miss anything?
nah
Welp, back to screenshotting and filtering crap I guess 😄
😄 sorry !
For?
not leaving u anything in here 😄
how much hp does the wraith have
I'm having a hard time figuring out the shielding mechanics
The mesh of the shield has to physically block the mesh of the weapon/arrow you are trying to block. Your PoV camera is NOT your shield. So you have to play around until you feel the range better
viable to play solo?
Ok, I was told that you look at the direction the swing of the weapon is coming from? I tried this, but had a hard time with consistency. I'll keep trying 😀
Thanks
Hard, but viable. Some classes are better than others. Game is not balanced around it at all
fighter or barb for solo?
In generally, you will end up aiming higher than you might think
... Fighter probably, but barb is better without gear
So fighter long term, barb short term. Just need to be careful with how you play
ok, what if i find another premade group? just run?
Or ambush them if they are distracted, it really depends. But if you're just starting out, I would try to just get used to movement and the map. Escape when you can, establish a few hundred gold so you can buy healing items more consistantly
what's the goal ? survive and exit the dungeon?
To start, yeah. Learn the map, how the room sare connected, where stone portals spawn, sounds etc...
what does spell capacity do for example "+2 spell capacity" ?
Spell capacity doesn't do anything in the current build
Yes
how does leveling work?
XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.
thanks
You got it 🙂
what does physical power do?
Increases total damage after modifiers by a %
and does +3 pyhsical damage add to the weapon damage?
And physical skills
good class to start solo? ranger is good?
can anyone tell me how the magical healing modifier works? does the healer need the modifier, the person being healed or does it affect potions
Ranger is good because you can set traps to stall/kill enemies, use ranged to take out playesr and easily kill most AI without using resources
THe person casting needs it
Potions is phys healing
thx
why does my invisibility immediately run out on mage when i move
Is either a bug, report it to #989065208087576596 , you didn't cast it on yourself and ended up casting at another player, teammate or AI, or it fizzled and you didn't actually cast it. Now, if you drink a invis potion, that is not the same as your spell and breaks when you do anything
hmm ok, will try to replicate it and see if it happens again
Is there a stat for true magical healing? Feel like I found something with that stat yesterday but not too sure. If so what is the difference between magical healing and true magical healing?
it also runs out if you take damage, so rogue bleed or even the ring damage will immediately pull you out of it
No such thing as true magical healing
Now, do you mean true magical damage?
How does parrying work?
The weapon itself is the hitbox, the exact mesh. There is no cone, so you have to intercept where the other attack is coming from with your weapon. Very tight window
Also, only the Longsword really has parrying working correctly atm
Other weapons have a similar mechanic but it's still not fully fleshed out
TY, Wasn't sure I thought I might have seen the stat.
All good 🙂
So do you need to be in attack animation or is just having it equipped and in the right place enough?
Do you know if the magic power is just making all magic stronger? Basically want to know if it adds more heal and more damage to judgement lol
Lemme wait for my partner to come back, he was practicing parrying with the longsword for like an entire day and can help you out better with that
Yes and most likely yes
If it says magical damage in the skill/spell magic damage adds to it
Awesome thanks, feel free to DM me with the response
However, hard to test every skill at the dummy because insta lobbies
Ping me in about an hour in case I forget 😄
Okay thank you
You got it 🙂
how do you get candy corn?
Random drop chance from chests, breaking pots/boxes. I usually find most from killing other players who found it for me. Also the gold piles have a good chance of finding them
Its still a low chance
yo guys defensive stance is when i block with shield with longsword or whatever?
yes
yes
yes mean whatever ye?
block parry
so its useless with shield
if your blocking you get defensive stance same thing with parry
okay thanks for answering
why are barbarians the worst class and how can it be fixed
They aren't?
they are by far not worst class
^^
What makes you say that?
I feel like they have so many cons and the pro is supposed to be crazy hp and good damage
how/where does one find a golden key?
Ive been duoing as a cleric with barb friend, and we frequently 2v3 wipe teams in full scav gear
but when I can get 3 headshots with the axe and a ranger doesnt go down
and I move slow as molasses and get 3 hit by a bow
if a barb doesnt have a cleric they are just ass
Skeleton Captain has a 10% chance to drop, but ONLY the one under the Golden Door area in the tower
We don't play with a cleric and our Barb kills plenty easy. That being said, this is a discussion and not a Q&A, so please take to the discussion channels 🙂
Well my question was What makes you say that?
when you said barbs arent the worst class
Opinions are not mechanics, this is a mechanic channel, please take it to discussion
I got golden kez from 1 elsewhere
Are you sure it wasn't the skeleton key?
what does strength greatly increased translate to in the stats?
how does gaining exp work ...do you get more for escaping? @whole sluice
XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.
Pretty sure it's also 15%
But lemme check really quick
thanks
It was goledn for sure
Interesting, most likely loot table bug
It's only supposed to spawn from the skeleton guard/captain down below
okay thank you so just straight +15?
Is there a defined loot table to look at?
Yup
No, too many moving parts to figure out loot tables. Just a general idea
Like D&D where its every certain amount of strength is a + modifier
In general 1 Str equates to 1% phys power modifier
thank you for the answer
However, there are thresholds and dimishing returns at certain points, but in general it's roughly 1%
Sure thing 🙂
okay one more question about dmg whats the headshot % modifier
anyone know how long it takes to die to the zone?
150%
It's roughly 1-2 damage per second/tick
ye, but you die without losing full hp aswell
So you can outheal it fairly easy with potions etc
Is there any discussion of making it so we can buy bandages in bulk?
If the timer gets to 0, sure
How do you cast a spell
its never outside the going to 0?
Merchants, among other mechanics, are still early in development. Much will change, yes
Huh?
ye nvm
😄
Right click after equipping something that casts spells, Staff, or Book etc...
So in this game where you hit them with your weapon matter because barbs use two handers it sounds like you are hitting the head but hitting with the shaft and not the blade (less damage)
Shaft doesn't matter, if something connects it connects. Basic body shot scores are headshot 150%, torso/chest 100%, limbs 50%
Oh nevermind, I read that wrong, you were answering someone 😄
You sure from melee im seeing 59 to head (hitting with shaft of axe) and 79 with a bit of spacing (hitting with blade of axe)
Yup, 100%
59 to 79 is most likely rounding issues
Now, not all damage is frontloaded, plus some weapons have different combo multipliers
Oh each swing has different values as well?
On some weapons yes
Well I learned something too then
For instance, the Castillion dagger combo #3 has like a 30% increase on hit
Check your character sheet in game, it will show the combo damage numbers
Most weapons have the same damage values for each hit, but not all
Also, the warrior combo ability has combo enhancers as well
Yeah so how does that work?
Right in this example for my barb players gray 2h axe need to space your attacks a bit to hit with blade for max damage.
If I hit a full combo my damage will be increased by 10% for a short period?
I'll have to wait for my fighter friend, I want to say yes that is how it works and it simply refreshes if you combo again
It doesn't stack or anything
Its followup attacks after your first hit
Oh you are talking about the distance, sorry
You are correct
Ok gotcha, that’s what I noticed in the dummy but I wasn’t sure
I missed your message up above when I was talking to someone in a DM
Do different mage weapons give different bonuses to spells?
The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. For instance, the crystal sword is great if you want to be a battle mage and cast spells while also bonking people on the head. The staff is terrible for halls because it has wide casting animations, but also lets you bonk slightly stronger than sword. And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
Not pointless
I noticed that the 5% dagger buff takes the starter dagger from 17 on a headshot to 18. Does the remaining .3 damage get rounded down and lost?
There are different situations for each of them
is ther egonna be a quickeybind for spells option instead of scrolling always the book?
Not sure how rounding works tbh. I can't play with the dummy enough. Also, not sure how much armor the dummy has either. So it's hard to calc
there deffo is situations for all of them
Not sure, but I hope they customize spell cast keybinds
well it's very frustrating in solo
Why does agility and resourcefulness both up the speed for interaction? But doesn’t say on fopdoodles
impossible to survive more than 3 mins versus premade teams
Fopdoodles is slightly outdated on stats. It was a carry over from last playtest
Oh ok, but both stats are suppose to give interaction speed?
Yup
Resourcefulness gives 'roughly' 2 times as much action speed per point than agi
But, it's the only thing Resourcefulness does currently
So It's still better to have 1 AGI than 1 Res. imo
Oh ok, Ty
👍
u have a perk that allows u to smash that chest
And if barbs could interact and attack as fast as others, why take anyone else?
Every class has pros and cons
But, thats more of a discussion question than a mechanic question 🙂
guys does ghost king/lich king reset hp after quitting room?
Yes
ok thx for quick answer
Again, sounds like a great topic for the discussion channels 🙂
The crystal ball doesn't have any stats just penalty?
Different cast animations as well
faster cast speed?
No, cast speed is the same
wait so just penalty, no advantage other than looks
Guess just don't use one then?
The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. yeah I get it
seems empty
other weapons have different ranges, speeds, strengths, etc. Mage weapons feel incomplete
Disagree, but take it to feedback
Disagree aswell
Your magic is essentially the same no matter your weapon though right? (just so I'm understanding mechanics)
yes
It doesn't cast faster, do more damage, or change stats in any way
k, just wanted to be sure
Yes and hit people, I like the mage
Just feels like the weapon slot is pointless if you like mage for magic
not pointless but just hollow
Again, disagree, but please take the discussions to a discussion channel or post Feedback in #feedback-hidden-archive
If u invis in boss room solo does the bosses health reset?
I don't believe so because I don't think it drops aggro from invis
no he just stares at you
how does the campfire works?
You interact with it to get a base +5 phys healing per second. It will also restore spells and most skills
You need two campfires to replenish revive spell!
Does agi currently increase swing speed?
1 full campfire is enough
Yes
what do all the flawed gems and broken rings/amulets do?
Vendor trash for now
Ok! So there is a difference in quality, not just the price! Thank you!
how does the + spell capasaty work?
That being said, different rarity of campfires only effect time to deploy
It doesn't do anything in the current build
what does agility do as a stat
Move Speed Action Speed Equip Speed Interaction Speed (Regular)
what about strength?
Health Physical Power Bonus Physical Power
trying to gear out feels confusing becaues im seeing stats like phys power bonus, phys power, weapon damage, true damage, etc. what are the differences?
or is there some documentation of these stats effects i can read somewhere
Phys power increases total damage by a %, +phys adds Phys damage to weapons and skills that use phys damage. True damage bypasses resistances and armor
No documentation at this time
I'm working on documentation and/or wiki to help with some stuff
and weapon damage is self explanatory i assume
Yup
does magic damage + effect poison/bleed for rogue? or is it physical
does something replenish spells on wizard other than meditating?
Campfires
I'm pretty sure it's magical, but test dummy is hard to use with insta lobbys 😄
for both bleed and poison?
Bleed is phys
ahh ty
At least according to the description
there's no option to purchase lockpicks?
