Not sure, don't do much tech help, might be able to try asking in another channel
The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. For instance, the crystal sword is great if you want to be a battle mage and cast spells while also bonking people on the head. The staff is terrible for halls because it has wide casting animations, but also lets you bonk slightly stronger than sword. And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
ok thanks for help
I believe book and ball also let you use a dagger right?
ahhh forgot about wizard's ability to use dagger
only ball, book is 2 handed
Ahh okay well theres a big difference between ball and book then
How do you cast magic missle i keep only getting one projectile
How does cleric resurrection work? My friend has tried iot 3 times and it hasnt worked yet
Can't move while casting the spell (It has like a 20 seconds cast time) Can't have anything hit a wall or it will fizzle. No one can have moved the soul from the body
ty
fill bar up then unleash it while looking at the player you wanna resurect and dont move nd dont move your crosshair
Mister mad cow, I saw a big door underground next to the lava monster, this the door ?
Most likey. Did you have to jump on floating lava mushroom thingies?
Ah yes
Yup
Do you have to kill angry lava monster to get in or no
You open that door and there is a lever to make a bridge going across
No, you can avoid it, but it will be a HUGE pain in the ass if you don't
How do you kill the lava monster he barrage me with fire
I cannot melee him very well
is there any way to reset merchents other than waiting for timer?
How much health do you think that lava monster has? @whole sluice
Complete/fail missions
Not really
Dunno tbh, we didn't really document monster HP/DMG values this test
We ignored him tbh
Just wanted to see what was behind the skull door and then moved on
Stupid question. Last time i read a spear, it was fighter specific? or is my memory wrong? because rangers have a skill with Spear right?
Equip the skill and then they can equip the spear
oh hell, that makes sense
๐
ive been a lvl 20 ranger for ages now and have always wondered why i couldnt use it lol
I heard that they may be adding one handed weapon parry?
I don't believe so
2h would be the ones to get parry systems
One hands get the benefit of using a second weapon, shield, or spell foci
I hate having no way of protecting myself or getting away after getting hit on rogue
Low, 5-10%
does strength add 1 base damage
No, it adds physical power which is a % increase/decrease
I'm actually working on the stat distribution sheet now
how much % does 1 strength add and how about agility?
whats the diference between grey, withe or, blue spellbook?
its says exactly the same but the color
Nothing right now
Again, working on the sheet now. It's not simply +% because the game has a neutral 15 stat. Anything less than 15, I.E. 13 strength is a -% for stats. Anything above is positive
@whole sluice thanks for the answer
Sure thing ๐
I've had my cleric's resurrection spell fail to resurrect a teammate twice now, not sure what i'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated
On level 3 we ran into a boss that shot at us pillars of fire. Is that the new final boss mechanic or a completely new boss?
Can't move while casting the spell (It has like a 20 seconds cast time) Can't have anything hit a wall or it will fizzle. No one can have moved the soul from the body
It is a very, very long cast time. You have to keep your cursor on your ally for like 20+ seconds.
I had it work just did the spell as advertised so it definitely works
The animation and sound effect are amazing btw
can you check for mimics by hitting the chest
Arrows used to be able to depending on how far they went in
Eh Mister mad cow, how do u kill the ghost king guy
But haven't tested this round
๐
But honestly, avoid the guysers while always moving to do damage to the boss. Haven't really focused on him and/or strategies as that wasn't the purpose of this playtest for us.
yep. i didn't realize that you need to stand still after the initial bar fills. thanks!
but they can't anymore?
Dunno, haven't tested it this test
Man I wish shields better blocked being shot from the front
are the other floors part of the same lobby or a new lobby is made with more players?
How to escape B3?
Same lobby. So if everyone is dead, you are the only ones there
There are a total of 4 blue portals to get you out. They spawn in 1, 1, and 2 groups
When do they spawn? Or are they there from the stop?
Same as previous map, within the white circle
They are made on the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd to last transition phases
I'm guessing there is no announcment in the kill feed like B2
If players are in there, yes the feed is the same
And it announces when the portals spawn
Ah okay, I remember being in there and not seeing any announcements
They don't start until near the end
I know the last 2 spawn roughly around the 2 minute left mark
So my guess is none of them spawn until maybe 3-4 minutes left?
I haven't checked and didn't write it down, too much to keep notes/track of P:D
OKay, I'll keep an eye out, got someone in there right now lol
Wish them luck. Take it slow and it's fairly doable with okish gear
Hardest thing is just knowing the layout and knowing enemy patterns because everything down there hurts alot ๐
Yeah, around 3 minute mark the first two spawn like 10-20 seconds apart
Yup
Is there any say on if they plan to add 4 person groups?
Does the hellhound count as undead?
How does the spell capacity / Spell memory works? I have +2 and Spell memory 0/2 on lobby.. can anyone explain this mechanic?
Think it would be a demon but idk
They are looking into it, but right now they really like 3
I don't believe so
Right now spell capacity isn't functioning in the game yet
Keep it 3 fuck 4s 3 is the perfect number
Any more than 3 and you might as well make this mordhau 2 and give us a field it's already crowded m
I think 3 is pretty solid. 4 is too much friendly fire in already cramped areas
@whole sluice would be good to add a (Not working yet) text, right next to those things (Attributes-mechanics) not wrking
I'm not a dev ๐ However, the stats do say that
Yeah I know, just thinking out loud
Is there any rumors for a beta before Q4?
Also if so 1 wipe please none of this beta for ever wiping bs like tarkov or star citizen.
I want to grind once I have a life.
Only thing mentioned is the original plan was possible Early Access Q2/April 2023, and release Q4 2023
Is there a way to stop the trading chat from moving like crazy when your trying to look at the stats of something specific
Unfortunately not, that feature was added this playtest. I would suggest posting feedback in #feedback-hidden-archive
Does the rarity of the wizards weapons increase spell damage?
Well the progress you make get wiped at some point as the game is developed?
No, grey-blue spell foci do not really matter currently
how does pickpocket work?
Everything is wiped between playtests so far
If you have it equipped you can approach an enemy player in a match if you are within touching distance. A prompt will come up where you can 'pickpocket' them. You will then 'steal' one item from their non-equipped backpack. If they have nothing to steal it will let you know
How long will the current playtest last?
bro at what point would you be able to touch anyone lmao
Invis/hidden next to a gold pile/treasure chest. It's kinda memish tbh
It ends in roughly 29 hours
Ahhh, when does the next one start?
No mention of the next one yet
Oh wow, I just started playing so I guess the fun is over for now lol
Nope
No, each stone is a way one pass. However, the second to last transition on B2 has groups of 3 that can spawn to escape or to go down
can anyone tell me what nimble hands actual mechanics are? is it a flat atk speed boost or is it only if you shoot, move, shoot, move?
Although each stone is a one way pass, theoretically could it be possible for 2 people to use the portal on the same tick
does anyone know what the difference in wizard weapons is?
Attack speed when shooting
Passive
The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. For instance, the crystal sword is great if you want to be a battle mage and cast spells while also bonking people on the head. The staff is terrible for halls because it has wide casting animations, but also lets you bonk slightly stronger than sword. And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
thank you
do better staves make your spells do more or just the bonk?
Bonk
Yes, each stone has 1 portal created when used. There are groups of 3 that spawn together towards the end of the 2nd to last transition
Can someone elaborate on spell capacity bonuses?
That stat/feature isn't implemented in the game yet
What are the odds of golden key
Killed that mf a couple of times and didnt get a single one breh
If it's like previous testings 10%
Pain and suffering.
Is there a mechanical benefit to dual wielding that I am missing as a rogue? Only benefit I see is using rapier and dagger so I have the range for PvE when I'm with a ranger duo
Animation cancel, stat sticks and combo chambering
What's the animation cancel technique?
If you want to go straight from one attack combo to another without having to swap. So offhand dagger has wide sweeps, sucks for halls, but has a great finisher. So start with the rapier until they get in the open and then swap over to your other
Storing coins
Holds 50 gold
even if you die?
In one slot
No, just helps declutter inventory
It's for stash space
will D&D have match making eventually?
They haven't said much about matchmaking, but they did mention that they wanted to have 'high roller' lobbies. Basically where the best geared/skilled players go to private lobbies
Whether that is in addition or instead of matfchmaking dunno
What happened to the leader board? I can't see it's content any more.
Dunno. Server issues? Fixing exploits, ๐คท
Does a potion of protection and the mages reactive shield/clerics protection spell stack?
I don't believe so, I think the stronger effect replaces the weaker
Does drinking two potions of healing double up the effect tick? Or simply waste a potion?
Thank you!
Sure thing ๐
This game, and discovering the mechanics, brings me back to elementary and middle school with Diablo; as well as finding Tarkov or CounterStrike or Daggerfall for the first time. Well done, team!
Yeah, old school is best school ๐
does a spell book make it so a cleric no longer needs spell memory to cast the spells?
p. sure drinking different grades of potions stack though
No, you still need that equipped
It did last test, haven't bothered to try this time tbh
But since they fixed +phys healing I'm fine even if they do stack now ๐
As long as you don't move or take any action
It's situational and because you can't move, as long as people don't think you're around it helps.
Good to wait for people to pass by or ambush
is there a list of stat points and what they do?
ty
Sure, lemme get you a screeny of in game
Also slightly outdated, was just in a trade
Most of that is correct, AGI does NOT give +move, resource helps with interact speed
resource giving item slots later interesting could
Hello there. I tried this game. managed to win a fight take some loot and extracted successfully but could not figure out how the stash works. Does it work actually? Or am I supposed to take all my stuff like money with me on every raid until I die eventually?
Stash is your bank. If you die, anything in your stash is 'safe'.
Try relogging
I know that at one point there were some server issues preventing moving some items over
oh. it worked eventually. lol
๐
tried now after 10 min afk
Ah
Yeah, if it happens again it might just be a logging issue
How you liking it so far?
pretty much ))
also does my stash shared between my characters?
that would be awesome
thanks
actually I was like "wut?!?!? how I died?!?!" at couple first runs (maybe 10-20) until I reached lvl 5. Then I got some feeling on how play rogue but I'm pretty sure I'm still trash ) at least I started to win skeletons and zombies ๐ happy about it. pretty hardcore game.
Yeah, rough start but great fun once you get over the starting hurdle ๐
also some adrenaline moments are there. I liked to evade full squad while playing solo by going into dark and suddenly found a portal. opened it and extracted. that was unexpected. 3 guys were surrounding me but could not catch )) awesome stuff
Glad you're enjoying it ๐
What are the best fighter skills?
Depends on playstyle honestly. I'm not a fighter main so can't comment too much.
does the blue campfire have a longer duration?
Can I trade items from my rogue to my fighter using the trade system or would it need to be another player logged in only?
No, faster to deploy @warm furnace
You would need another player
mostly sprint / second wind
btw what campfire does?
heals and recharges some skills/spells
Heals HP, restores spent skills and spells
what do you think is good for Cleric? I've been using smite and spells
Rip, got a good set of dark plate on my rogue and wanted to get it to my fighter
when does it not restore skills? it does not restore the bread ability ๐ฆ
hehe. I find WAY too much gear for my fighter friend than myself ๐
uhh great!
Doesn't refresh Ranger heal ability
Can't make more bread/find berries in a dungeon
Judgement is massive for damage on both ai and especially players, I always run it, I don't even use spells on solo cleric, I use smite as my second
smite is probably best for pvp
I like my fighter purely because gearing a fighter is way easier than nearly any other class, but I love the interact speed, and attack speed of rogue so I swap between both
what is the point of the castillon dagger. i feel like i dont do extra damage/attack faster with it
The third attack in that combo does like a HUGE amount more damage
oh dang
When in game, look at your character sheet in detail and it will show you the combo damage bonuses
is body armor body part specific? or it adds up to minus a %? watched ally get 2 shot by basic skeleton with 70chest piece on and other higher gear.
The first 2 swings are VERY wide, so sucks in hallways though
No, armor is just a total reduction of damage from a source. Only body locations matter for modifiers like Head, 150%, torso 100%, and limbs 50%
where do you see that
And then at the bottom
But it won't show unless you are in a mission, stash doesn't show it
ohhh
I've just noticed amor doesnt seem to do much in pvp or pve.
It can, depends on how much you have
gold door top of tower how do I open it
I'm working on the AC tables now
It also depends on the weapon doing damage
Fast weapons get hurt a lot more with higher armor values then slower higher base ones
And as a heads up, AI almost ALWAYS hit your head, especially archers
need skeleton key
where do you get that
Pretty sure only from the lich boss in the red portal area
Gold door needs Golden key, not skeleton. Skeleton key is for another door
Gold key is from the Skeleton Captain mini-boss under the golden door
The skeleton key is a drop you can find on the ground in one of the B3 map variants, nothing to do with the lich
Wait is it a guarantee spawn the golden key?
I see, thank you
does the one in the dining hall have a chance too?
Dining hall?
My pleasure ๐
yeah theres a dining hall somewhere on the map with another skeleton captain in it
Oh, no skeletal captains are just an enemy type
so should i use just a castillon dagger over a rapier
that specific one is a boss though?
The one for the Golden Key is specifically only in one spot. Base of the tower behind the double doors
They are all the same
Really depends. I personally like the extra couple inches the rapier gives me, especially for PvE
But the daggers are better at stacking your poison (If you use it) because it's based on attacks. Also dagger has slightly more damage
It took me the whole play test, but I finally figured out where blocking fits in to melee
Now to test shield stagger
when does this playtesdt end
In about 27.5 hours
any plans to add a dodge type movement to make melee combat a bit more complex?
Not a dev, but I think they are wanting to keep combat more simple and focus on positioning and tactics instead of things like that
what does resourcefulness do and is there a place i can bug report for minor bugs?
#989065208087576596 and Resourcefulness increases Regular Interaction Speed
thank ye
Ye be welcome laddie
Oh Sage Madcow, what does Magical Interaction relate to?
Interacting with magical devices. Portal stones and shrines. However, I don't believe it's working correctly because shrines still feel slow with wiz/cleric
Much obliged ๐ค
Question about going to the 3rd layer with the red portals. Does it put you in a new lobby or do you stay in the same lobby you were in before going down
Current lobby
So only players that survived and go down in that playsession go with you
what are the best perks for cleric? in a group
Thanks
The one that heals you for a bit that you heal others is really nice
I use kindness, undead slaying, advance healer, and blunt weapon mastery
Though I've seen people use the brewmaster perk and do well with it if you wanna be more aggressive @fierce heath
The only ones seem pretty bad to me
is there anyone that can tell me what each of the stats do i.e. str agility
bottom right in the lobby screen there's a guide
Called fopdoodles
There on the class screen has desciptions of what the stats do
Thanks!
Thanks Coma ๐
How do you deal with the purple circle on lich king that 1 shots you
when he targets a player and puts it around them
Stack everyone together
gotcha
sick, is that the only mechanic other than dodging his stuff
So there is no way to get more range dmg from stats
Basically
gotcha
Str or +phys damage
Although, don't ask me how strength changes crossbow damage mechanically ๐
Sure thing!
You can, my purple longbow build is up to 126 headshot damage
๐
How many maps in this playtest?
2 floors, with a couple variants for each one
@young pollen
thank you
how long do the mummy clouds last? had one last like a whole 30 damn seconds until it snuck up on me while looting
extremely annoying ๐
If you have a high damage weapon you can stun them, I know on my cleric with a war maul I would stun them out of the animation
random enemy proced cloud and then ran away, fought random off for like 30+ seconds, decided to loot
cloud was still active and hit me for the 1hp i had left
pain and agony and suffering
Actually I don't know if it's just damage that stuns them or if it's because it was like a big 2H weapon
Enemies can be staggered now
Bigger weapons stagger easier than little ones
I think enemies share a similar mechanic to shield stability
what is magic interaction speed
How fast you interact with non magical things like portals and shrines. However, I don't believe this is working as intended because portal stones still seem slow on high magical interact characters
Portals and shrines seem pretty magical to me lol
rararara
alright how tf do i cast spells as a cleric? i set it to healand then what
Right click with a spell item/weapon equipped
Like staff/book
wait i need a book with cleric?
To cast spells yes. You start with a staff so you can use that if you don't want to use the book
What are the boss mechanics.
I only know the litch, they can shoot an instakill purple orb that you have to dodge, and can create a weird purple ring around a player, when the purple ring appears, everyone in the party needs to group up on that player to avoid them taking major damage.
Does Additional Magic Damage only apply to spells that do magic damage, or does it give bonuses to melee damage and ranged damage too
The litch resurrects the skeletons around him too
Anything that does base magic damage now does more
But if it doesn't do magic damage normally, it doesn't get it
The ghost Flys up in the air and slams down and you need to dodge it by jumping
He does a full room DOT which I haven't figured out
And he throws himself at you which i think you can see coming and run away from
Just to check, this has actually been tested on the testing dummy at some point, right?
If that's actually how it works then I feel a little bit dumb but also terrified because I'd been using a bunch of +Magic Damage gear earlier on a rogue thinking it gave bonuses to my melee hits, and me and a buddy went on like a seven game extract streak with over 20 kills
What happens if you dont draw the bow fully? Does it affect damage, speed, accuracy?
Just curious, but if you bypass someones armor absorption with something like reckless attack, and they have no armor on, does it do nothing or does it set a players armor absorption into the negatives?
Ive tested on dummies and reckless attack does nothing to them, unless im going crazy
Yeah, it has to have the base stats, been tested.
Just velocity
The character screen shows -armor values, so I assume it would go below 0, but hard to confirm. And I don't know if the dummy does the same as a player ๐คท
I tested on dummy, same damage values but i dont know if they compare to player, i might need to bring in a naked cleric friend to test damage
I hurt my friends a lot for testing to ๐
Wew fucking lad then, I'd have been doing about double damage then if it'd been phys bonus, that's insane
Yeah, its dumb. I can PUNCH the dummy for over 100 with the right setup
Eh, I don't quite think I'd say dumb, but the difference between starter gear and decently geared is just like
It's a huge gulf
Lmao ive resorted to using punches when chasing rangers, you cant catch them with weapons out as barb, luckily barbs strength lets you deal fist damage thats stronger than a starting fighters arming sword
Even without starter gear, a non weapon should NOT hit for that much... ever
Like if I had a purple weapon sure, but my fists
With a weapon I can almost hit high 100s, almost 200
Thats... really bad scaling imo ๐
Yeah even Rogue does 20 damage with punches and 13 with dagger
18 on headshots for the rougue dagger
Dagger has faster hits in the span of punches though, and can have poison, i dont think fists can be poisoned
Only 18? Are you not using ambush and weakness?
Fists count, anything that hits counts
It's a self melee buff
That being said, poison isn't spectacular. If something takes more than 3-5 hits somethings is wrong ๐
Not ambush then, backstab
No way hide is amazing
Sorry, brain tired ๐
@whole sluice What is the main use for the Golden key? I've gotten a few and spammed the treasure but the main loot I've found has been candy corn lol
Not with how buggy Hide is
The actual treasure is underwhelming
It's infinite, gives more gold per item slot ratio than selling 'vendor food'
Also, there is always at least a purple, usually a legendary, on the floor in there
Can anyone recommend a wiki? I have no idea what alot of stats do, or what the wizard weapons are even for
Ah we got a purple
the chance of actually consistently getting back stab is if the player thinks its just better to run away from a rogue with base dagger
Check the fopdoodle button the menu
So maybe just unlucky
It randomly drops stealth and only 10 steps of movement is really small, and at least until you're super geared, Trap Disarm+Lockpick is great
Use hide offensively as a means of procking ambush, since it doesnt matter if you actually "ambush" them or not. Like you can run up to an enemy, hide and instantly exit hide to proc the ambush and deal extra damage next hit
This guy Rogues
I started off doing rogue but it was too op so i went to barb since it was the least played last test
But now barbs are strong
Now im probably gonna play wizard next playtest
Yeah, Rogue is really strong. I just use it to help colect data on XP/Vet point farming, loot tables and stuff
To be fair, most classes are strong. The game really increases your power level when you have map/mechanic knowledge
It took me a while to realize that theres weapons in the tavern with ur name on it lol
And it doesn't help most people don't know what they're doing so they are just a slap away from dying
Some classes do well to balance each other too
Like as a fighter I don't think I've ever died to rogue
Dunno whatcha talking about ๐
Ive been trying to teach my friend how to play but before i can even teach him he just instantly dies to the first enemy, this has happened AT LEAST TEN TIMES NOW
If a rogue tries to ambush can usually just turn around block one attack and melt him while spacing with my longer weapon
oof
CLERIC IS NOT A FRONTLINE, HE CHARGED A BARBARIAN AND INSTANTLY DIED it was pretty funny though lol
Although, you can build frontline clerics ive heard
agreed, trying to fight a barb with armor or a fighter, i get semi shitted on because i cant do enough dmg
Via ale and smite and war maul
What do knowledge and will do?
Battle cleric is a thing people undervalue
any difference between oil lantern vs explosion bottle
Yeah, I have no idea why they have a double damage + remove 50% armor ability
I dunk fighters so bad
Most clerics i come across dont know how to use judgement, or just never use it, and always run away when their team needs help
Gear diff
I've got Rogue up to 20 and farmed a few thousand gold and done a good bit of PVP, and honestly the class that fucks me up the most is Clerics
What does knowledge do
Nothing really, magical interaction and cast speed
yeah a cleric that knows how to block is terrifying
Yes, like how the spy could take out the sniper and engineer in tf2
How do you know?
Barbs are usually too stupid to do anything but constantly swing so they eat shit, Rangers just rush past because they think the bow makes them god, wizards just die in a single hit, and fighters are a mixed bag but you can absolutely cripple them by just going into tight corridors
That being said, this is spilling way out to discussions. If I could kindaly ask these to move to the discussion(s) channel please ๐
Other rouges are usually just food
Judgement taking off half my health as a barb with the magic resist is so infuriating, but its such a short range that i can usually get em before i get hit with it. In team fights, judgement shreds still though.
Does crouching reduce the range that enemy ai can detect you?
Not really Steve
It's fairly simply proximity
Noise/Sight doesn't really effect them much
The purple ball that chases you, is the person with the blue ring supposed to soak the orb?
That being said, I'm gonna take a break from databasing for a while, you all take care and behave now ๐
on lich
Drag the ball into adds
ok
so do the stats on my spear affect the dmg of the bow
like spear has 3% armor pen
does that affect the bow?
No, only held items count
I'm the battle cleric in our group and I front line lol
lol whats your battle cleric setup?
It's heavily underrated
how do you play battle cleric? just prot and buff yourself and run in with that hammer lol?
rogues should be deleted uninstalling
Weakpoint is brokenly overpowered. Rogues didn't need yet another multiplicatve attack on top of all their other bonuses to 1 shot people.
When something has a true magical damage roll on something like a dagger does it still do the magic damage?
or an armor piece as well
What does Nimble hands do?
how does smite work for clerics? does it do extra damge when you use melee attaks too or what
5% faster bow attacks
Apparently not, it adds to things that would do magic damage baseline
Does plus magic damage effect rogue bleed/poison?
Not anymore that was removed as it was too strong.
whats the difference between blue ranger traps and the standard?
good to know, thanks
faster set speed
how do you parry
i need this info
if anyone could tell me that would be pog
yo
So i noticed on the stats page that as a rogue, my move speed doesn't decrease from 300 even after i equip armor that has move speed -5 on it, etc
it applies in game
Nevermind just a weird refresh bug with the stat screen
i cant find the info anywhere sadge
id help if i could but i also dont know
madcow is gone when the world needed him most
Does shield breakthrough take into account physical damage reduction? As in if a 50 damage halberd hits a 40 defense shield and the user has 50% physical resistance, does the halberd deal 5 breakthrough damage, or is it treated as 25, and the shield negates everything?
lol
how do i split a coin purse while in the trading chat?
i dont think you can
i started putting my gold into weird stacks to make odd numbers up
5 1 stacks 5 2 stacks ect
What is the difference for the spellbook tiers?
nothing
Breakthrough is based on a smaller number value based on weapon size vs shield size
alright thanks
welp i want to figure this out
Don't think that's it at all. Skeletons break through the starter shield and a lot of the worse shields. But not higher defense shields of the exact same size.
when going to floor 3, can you see other players in those cubes around you in the fishverse, or are they just for show?
You can see other plays. Iโve only seen other players once in my 10+ times though lol.
I think itโs only other players that were on the same run as you so if everybody is dead or left then itโs just you
Is the homing effect of the magic missiles based on the projectile or on your cursor when the spell is cast? I've had mixed results
is 2nd floor any possible to solo?
I think so yes once youโre comfortable with combat and have good gear and lots of bandages (probably like 6-9 20hp ones left after the first floor)
I havenโt solod it yet but I plan to tomorrow. Iโve done it two man a lot though. My duo is ranger and the bow is VERY helpful there
i could imagine but im not sure you'd get enough space as ranger solo
We watched a view videos that explained the basics of the area and itโs good. Lots of golden chests, I play rogue so I can open them all and he clears the monsters from afar
well yeah, rogue and ranger are 2 busted classes
Why is it impossible to unlock a trap on the ground? that minigame goes way too fast
yeah, lockpick minigame feels too fast for such a slow paced game
While I do agree, Iโve gotten bonked on the head by barbarians in some of my best loadouts and gotten oneshot. Rogues are squishy for sure
wait, character stats actually scale with level?
is there currently any difference from the spellbook and crystal ball, other than movespeed? implemented rn
Unless whenever you hover over it and it specifically says that there is stat differences then no. You can see some of the current non implemented stuff that has to do with stats for armor/weapons in the #โfaq channel.
Are there known bugs/inaccuracies in talents? Arcane Mastery claims that you cast spells 1 second faster, but regardless of whether I have it equipped, spells seems to cast at the same speed
Additionally, is the Magic Bonus Damage associated with the crystal sword applied to both spells and attacks, or only attacks?
how do you highlight stuff in trade
what is the difference between ADDITIONAL MOVE SPEED compared the AGILITY, which one outweighs more then the other? For example how much more is 1 agility over 1 additional move speed? what is the calculations
is it better to run in heavy armour as cleric? I found myself slow af at the end of runs
if u check ur stats base u have 300 move speed. u can put on agility and see how much it gives relative to that
Wait, campfire restores spell uses?
Always has
Anyone devs here could share what these balance changes are?
Balance updates:
--- a. Rogue Weakpoint skill.
--- b. Fighter's swift perk.
--- c. Fighter's baricade perk.
--- d. Fighter's sprint skill.
Shift click (rather lmb or rmb, dont remember exactly)
We need specific details in these patch notes not generic notes.
vague notes are fine for beta.
id expect much slower, more deliberate and detailed notes later on
They aren't even saying if they are buffed or nerfed. Weakpoint was overpowered so it was obviously nerfed but to what extent. Not sure why Baricade was changed nobody uses it unless it was broken etc
well, if you get jumped on, you can actually survive some damage. Cleric even naked cant outrun most classes.
well, its clearly going to be nerfed.
how you play against a rogue, or as a rogue likely isnt going to change
weakpoint?
yes, weakpoint. they arnt going to buff rogue atm, its performing well
post evidence of rogue performance
i hope they buff weakpoint
i feel dumb not being able to murder people as rogue if they're getting nerfed lol
Rogues are broken as shit
You are high as a kite. It needs a 90% nerf at least
weakpoint is the armor piercing one right?
I know it's strong. That's why i hope it, i like it ;D
maybe it should disappear if you miss your first attack
Full plate mail tank who moves slower than slow gets one tapped by a rogue at Mach10
rogue is terrible if you dont have gear
This is true for most classes
Boss
Play fighter with no gear
See how fun it is
LMAO
I need to know why they think its a good idea to nerf fighters shield. If all of those fighter changes are nerfs it is literally retarded
Even full purple armor you still get 2 shot
By longbows and rogues yeah
Barbarians too
Yeah idk why theyโre nerfing fighters when the leaderboard is all rogues
has anyone run into a situation where you step in a bear trap and cannot get out?
barb is good with starter gear
Helmets need to probably need to negate entirely or reduce headshot dmg
Yeah headshots are kinda nutty atm
that kind of seems like the point, also cant fighter use bows?
fighter can use some bows
Can use all bows if you use the trait
A LOT of the changes they have made to balance since the last test have been objectively bad changes. If they keep making bad changes like this the game won't last very long.
Fighter with a recurve is really strong
I mean itโs a play test
full bow team is busted with current arrow slowdown on hit
3 rangers is truly broken
But the balance is in heavy favor of rogues and how users
Yeah the triple arrow shit is busted
Last play test rogues dominated. They added an ability this test that makes them even more broken. The logic just doesn't exist. Also whoever through triple shot was a good idea should be fired.
Need to make it slower with bow type
just nerf the ability for rangers to make distance and my barb will be happy
Triple shot is a really cool idea and plays well just needs a speed nerf
Rangers needed a impactful ability
Just not one so broken
Who
It need to be connected to weapon speed. For example longbow triple must be much slower then recurve bow triple.
100%
Someone know how the pick pocket perk for rogue works?
That would balance it
Please take discussion of mechanics to #1033463812399054898
Sorry!
No problem.
Anyone else start randomly attacking with the cleric? Thought it was my mouse but his staff is the only time it happens
@digital quiver Can we get more detailed patch notes at least about the specific balance changes ?
happened to me yesterday
sorry i don't have the details on hand right now
yeah, this happens to me as other classes as well, and autocasts spells as cleric/wizard
i dont think anyone answered, but where is the golden key/skeleton key spawn?
i remember someone mentioning at some point that its a non-100% spawn on the opposite side of the golden door in b3?
Golden key drops off the skeleton knights. Not sure of the skeleton key has been found yet. It didn't drop at all last test.
ok i updated the announcement
what skill gives barb movespeed?
Appreciate it. While I disagree with the fighter nerfs. Even wearing full purple armor I still get two shot. I feel there are many other things more in need of immediate balance changes.
One of their shouts
duly noted
How do you deal with floor traps?
Is there a counter or you just gotta use potion and pray ๐
throw a torch on em
use the like 1/4th of a second delay after they go down to start crossing and jump before they pop back up
since they are taking the servers down for 90m for an update do you think they will extend the test?
Man there such a tough balance to reach in these games between how amazing high end gear and how well low end gear should be able to compete against it. I do not envy the devs that have to balance that.
You can jump over the edge of them. Rogues can also disarm them if they have the perk.
i cant watch another game do what yager did and go from a fun unique thing to trying to make the literal throwaway gear murder the best stuff you can get your hands on its a dungeon not an esport you risk it all make money trade with people get a good kit potentially die with it off rip i dont think making the game easier for people who just wont put the work in is the move or seperating ques / wipes i get wipes during the tests but in the full game the player driven econ and the nature of how easy it is to lose stuff will keep everything fresh
Do the health shrines heal a percentage of HP or a flat amount?
full hp
when you level up does it increase stats?
What's the difference between epic and regular explosive bottle?
will the test be extended? this is very fun please let us stave depression off for a day or 2
i think the damage
im not sure
ill test it next time i can
an actual question, i have a rapier that deals 21 dmg but on the dummies it does 19 to body but 28 to head, i feel like thats not right
I hope the playtest does end soon....cause I'm playing too much and I think I'm addicted.
If you look in your stats there is a breakdown of damage. Limbs take reduced damage while body is I think is 1.0 but head is like a 1.7 or 2.0. Your damage is going to be based on your strength. If you have a 15 in strength that is a 0 modifier. Go down from there you will do less damage. Go up you will do more
There are dmg modifiers ingame that affekt it. Rogue has like a base -10% dmg or smthing
dooes rupture only do 20 damage?
actually like 10 i tested it against a dummy
so is weakpoint attack just better
yes sadly and theyre nerfing it with the patch coming really soon
and rogue has no parry :/ making it really hard to want to play them
i cant find anything listing off limb protection but ill take your word for it rn
he has a base of -17% on physical power bonus
I would love if rogue had a parry just like in mordhau
if you were just using one weapon instead of dual wielding
please god no
they want to add a parry system and ithink they did i just dont know how it works so :p
the problem is if a rogue gets hit they die because they can no longer move fast enough to run away
but if there was some skill based way to slip away that would be great
Sounds like a skill issue honestly
Nothing shows limb protection but there is a tip in one of the loading screens. You can hit the little arm stubbs on the dummy and see it takes less damage
When swinging with a 2h weapon you will hit limbs most of the time. That's why it seems you may do less damage
It's why weapons with over head swings feel a bit better right now. If you don't hit the head you will usually hit the upper shoulder counting as a body shot
a 13 dmg dagger rondell, 6 arms, 12 shoulder, 18 head, and forgot body i think it was 10
hey guys what does the will stat do?
ill test next time im in tavern
what is the difference between weapon damage, physical power, additional physical damage, and true physical damage?
Base magic resistance, spell power, buff/curse duration
thanks man appreciate it
True physical damage bypasses all resistance. Physical power I think effects your modifiers or in other words changes the formula in some way but not your base damage while additional physical damage adds directly to your base damage
Same as weapon damage then? Affects your base damage?
So weapon damage and additional physical damage do the same thing?
I belive so? I think additional physical damage can effect anything even fist. While the weapon damage only works for weapon
Unless additional phys affects base damage and weapon damage is additive after formula modifiers?
I don't have the equations so I don't know for sure
12 body so it does seem like its a 1 base defense
makes sense, thanks!
so 13dmg dagger 18dmg head 7dmg legs 6dmg arms and 12dmg body
Yep sounds about right. You probs have 13 or 14 strength right?
8 strength is default rogue which results in -17% bonus physical dmg
Sheesh didn't realize rouge was so low
I forget where it is stated but limbs do take like 40% dmg. You can test it on the dummies by hitting the little arms.
with rondell dagger equipped i do a base of 10.79 peirce dmg
falls in line with the -17% physical dmg the rogue starts with
so physical power bonus actively subtracts rogues dmg i think
moving this to mechanic discussion cause i like stats
will the test be extended?
or when does it end since game going down for the fighter rogue gutting
me want sleep but play game :kappa
Yes it does. If it's blue 1 person has to tank
Purple has 2 layers you have to be in second layer to spread damage
If you have a cleric with high will it will reduce damage even more due to the high magic res
has anyone here tried full tank / strenght cleric build yet? i imagine having 2 of these is kind of broken
Does anyone understand how that perk that adds magic damage for clerics work?
wdym how easy it is to lose stuff? it feels a bit to easy to get high quality gear imo. good rolls maybe not, but blue/purple/orange in general are way to common
thats how these types of games are this isnt a looter shooter its a dungeon crawler its loot on loot on loot not toilet paper in every chest
but you're saying it's easy to lose stuff. it's not?
its easy to lose the stuff you take yes you can die to anything at any point or simply get unlucky with the portal spawns the whole point is there is alot of loot and its constantly getting rotated out for other stuff
good loot being extremely common kinda ruins half the game imo. if there's no excitement in finding purples+ then all you really have is just a pvp game
so playing as a rouge whats better the daggers or rapier?
rapier for the range imo
it's personal choice, but I think most people prefer rapier
I prefer the castillon dagger
if this the first game of this type you have played?
how do i quickly move loot on my body/inventory/drop etc?
I usually bring both. Rapier for range/PvE. Dagger for ambushing
I have to use daggers and my ranger steal all good rapiers ๐
ya ok i mean whats good perks? for rouge lol
Rightclick
Shift+Rightclick to drop from inventory
theres a reason the loot has rolls and builds your almost never pulling everything you need reliably like your thinking mang unless your using a mix matched kit
no, and even if it was it makes no difference
btw, is there any point of using 2 dagger than just diffrent angle attack?
also fair lmao
how is that an L take? LOL
I really like smokescreen for rogue, you use it then go invis, then attack easy kill 1v1
Hey guys ive noticed magic missle will follow a mob if it misses but it wont follow players?
@torpid loomthx
np ๐
is there fall dmg?
lockpicking if you go into third floor often, otherwise the pvps perks are best. idk the names of them. 30% ambush damage, poison damage, backstab, and walking while stealthed
no
good
Ive made it to second floor but just die XD
i preference poison, stealth, dagger mastery, and ambush
3rd good sir you start on 2nd
legit started yesterday night played couple matches and then got off XD
thats fine, just lettin ya know
im so good at this game, I've never even seen the first floor.
do you run solo?
some times i had a buddy but he left meh to learn XD
I'd say easiest class right now is Ranger, the amount of healing you get, and dependable damage will easily get you through, so long as you pick your battles, and plan accordingly.
i tried the ranger but the bow wasnt cutting it guesssing the starting bow kinda sucks
imo fighter > ranger
fighter is just insanely broken
lol
probably not after those hotfixes though
i like the ranger i just idk how i feel right now imm have to try out some more
you read the announcement right?
its a slaughter tbh.
seems like a heavy hit to mobility and defense.
I guess it depends on what you run
i like the rouge but is the ranger any good?
The stagger from being hit by a ranger is pretty harsh
im a really good shot
anyone remember base strength stats of the clases? i know rogue is 8 and fighter is 15 and i think cleric is 13
Wiz probably 5
thank you
it does 16 damage
longbows do 50
oh?
now use the triple shot and it's just an anti aircraft cannon
XD bet
Is there any sort of skill based matchmaking in the game rn?
why escape from a bear trap is impossible? XD
Bear traps are brutal if you walk into them
i got baited into one yesterday didnt even know they existed ๐ญ
im waiting for the bar to charge up but the minigame start at random times im never ready for it
Is wizard good and I'm just dumb?
Wizard is best when with a team otherwise you just get rushed
Even in a team I feel like I kill my team when trying to do anything
What exactly does spell capacity + do. i had a +2 + 1 and +1 i had equipped and i saw no difference in my spells "capacity"
Spell capacity isn't implemented yet
rip...
Yep
Try to not stand literally behind but a bit on the side so u can angle shots without hitting ur team
Also being in a voice chat would be helpful since u can just tell em to get back and shoot ur stuff
Honestly i envy whale. as a cleric i WISH i could more easily hit my team
i cant tell you how many times their hitbox JUST leaves my crosshair as i cast
Wizard is good, just play slow
Use the buffs on urself
You can get out of hot situations with invis
Kite for days
Slow/haste
Thats what I try to do as well as slow other players, but it just falls to rogue/bow
Hardly can be touched if you can use your slow right
having better movement speed
Even with slow and self haste I feel slower than rogue and bow
Wait u can use xbow on wiz?
Shoot with it, swapped to spell casting, use insta cast spell and you can burst some one really fast
makes me wish there was a more forgiving cast like if the cast is just shy of their hitbox it still gives it to them. trying to heal shield and buff your allies in a fight feels bad enough. add in the fact you are having to move constantly to avoid being targeted as the healer and that enemies can block your heals and shields to get them for themselves
Tf
Damn didn't know that
I run dagger/crystal ball then crossbow in my 2nd slot
Interesting
No shot I didn't know I could use a crossbow on wizard
is their any difference between crystal ball, book, and rod?
if you go into the traders inventory with your character, you can see all the items that you can't use highlighted in RED, you can use any item that isn't RED. that's how I learned Wiz can use crossbow, and many other items/armors
With crystal ball u can dual wield a dagger, book faster mov speed and staff is bad in narrow spots but does best melee dmg
Is removing armor worth the move speed increase for solo rogue?
@snow hedge You can dual wield with crystal ball and the book. I"m not too sure the difference, just move speed and maybe cast time
yeah cast time was what I was mostly curious about
Cast time is always the same i think
it seems sword has the slowest but doesn't seem to do more damage
Crystal Ball is the best, it's definitely faster.
Crystal Sword is ass IMO
Book is two handed, is it not?
Cast time is the same, just different animations
Not currently
How useful is armor exactly? I'm interested in the difference of hits or damage taken vs being naked. I've been going naked on rogue for the movespeed increase and wondering if it's worth it.
doodle
there is a damage reduction in the thats
stats*
Armor definitely has diminsihng returns, but up to you if you want move or not. That being said, if you are against faast low damage weapons, armor tends to be a bit better, but against large or armor piercing ones not as much
im kinda sad with the fighter nerft, less mobility and less defence
Depends on who you are fighting mostly
fighter was too good
hey quick question on dmg calculations as im bored and am big fan of math why does 13dmg dagger that rouge makes 10.79dmg do 12dmg to the body of dummy?
I have a hard time gauging the true effectiveness of the reduction. Probably because of the different types of weapons that people have. I guess there is no way around seeing what feels better in actual gameplay.
Is my other main question, are the benefits of having low health on barbarian with berserker worth it, like is the damage modifier actually that good with the other ones you can take? It seems like with the low attack speed its not actually all the amazing.
Just aim for the head, body damage does barely anything
Most likely either armor, or the fact you have less than 15 strtength
Having less than 15 strength gives negative penalties to physical power
Also use your bonus ability to ignore 50% amour for the first attack
less than 15 strength makes me do 10.79 dmg on the stats page, but when i stab the dummy its 12 using no abilities
i never had a problem fighting against fighter, i always have problem with rogue one shot me or ranger on top of the tower
no i took it off for science
There is a bit more to it than the calc shows as well
Maybe they have negative damage reduction?
they headshot and your should look around, youd take an arrow to the naked head irl 1 tap
Maybe. If armor has 0 armor that would be another 10%
Will happens less now with the nerf on weakpoint damage bonus
yea but get a portal in that zone with skeletron on bottom and ranger on top camping is impossible
understood, thank you for the tip thats actually really helpful
get a team
we tired
57% of our total death in 24h of gameplay each (we play duo) are from ranger and 30% from rogue
probably we gonna need a solo queue and a team queue
They spawn in at set times when the circle transitions
Where they spawn are random within the circle, but they spawn at the same time
Ok thanks!
Sure thing
Are you consistently killing Lich? Having problems with a few mechanics
not true
Do the health shrines heal a percentage of HP or a flat amount? @whole sluice
Not bothering with bosses this playtest, working on wiki building and database stuff mostly
All health
I mean, I haven't tested with like 200 HP barb builds, but so far it's been 100%
as a barb at 170+hp
And thats with high str fight HP stuff
hm weird ill see if i can replicate it
Yeah, haven't tested with high HP barb yet, so if it does have a cap I haven't seen it from our limited testing because we don't have a barb on our tetsing team atm ๐
No worries, intrested to see what it is
is there a link for breakdown of what all the stats do?
If you say you didn't heal to full, if I have to randomly guess, I would say it heals for 150 HP flat perhaps?
i will try to check on it
can we have a "fake" hotfix a day for keep extending the playtest for 24H each day?
Heh ๐
As of now with the wizard, we have a full selection of spells from the very beginning. In the full release are these gonna be locked behind levels and we need to level up our character to unlock new/more spells
what the point of dual dagger wielding? just diffrent angle attack?
We don't know much about levelling and such, however we do know that there will be more than the current list of spells, including some pretty cool sounding ones
yeah it swings from the side so it avoids most small shields
Different combo chambers, stat sticks, attack animation cancels etc
did magic missile projectile speed got nerfed between now and the last playtest?
Did I get an @ or reply here?
I believe so but haven't tested that specific velocity of projectiles
Does having an offhand weapon give stats to the main one?
Share the magical Google sheet?
I was watching some videos of wizard from last playtest and MM seemed way faster than now
If they are equipped the purple+ items give stats, the weapon itself doesn't have 'stats' unless you are attacking with that specific combo (I.E. left click or right click)
It's incomplete and I want to do a double check for verification
Ahh, yeah, I've seen the purple effects. That makes sense that they would count.
Would you like help?
I might once we get back up, sure
I have all the armor values up to 135 or so, because as a Rogue, I didn't have much more above that ๐ But now that I have my fighter partner back, we should be able to get the rest
Well feel free to add me or @ me if you need me. Have a max cleric and a decent ranger but no ranger gear
Also can get my str almost to 50 if you want to test for soft caps
What does the stats do ? Agility , Strenght and the others ?
The stats have thresholds for sure
i like numbers and will obsess over getting it right, just pulled an all nighter cause i got caught up in figuring out how to play base dagger rogue effectively
#โfaq I can't screenshot the fopdoodle image
Oh ok thx
How does picpocket work i've tried it and snuck up on mobs yet nothing happens
Does the will stat increase healing and buffs of the cleric ?
If you have it equipped you can approach an enemy player in a match if you are within touching distance. A prompt will come up where you can 'pickpocket' them. You will then 'steal' one item from their non-equipped backpack. If they have nothing to steal it will let you know
Will effects Magical Power, so yes
They need to buff or change pickpocket, probably the most useless trait.
aight cheers chief
How is xp calculated?
whats the difference between the Magic ball, spell book, and the wizard staff? For the wizard
XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.
And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
but what about the magic ball and book?
What does "Magic damage" mean on the sword?
Thanks, does healing allies count?
It has a physical and magic damage stat, does it not?
No ๐ฆ
D: rip healers
So when you hit someone, it does 2 damage calculations. A physical and magical attack
Both reduced by phys resistance and magic resistance
Is there a possibility to limit item pinging in trade posts with their corresponding types in future versions? So people can't ping armor and other stuff in weapon trade post?
Thats included in what I said
Can anyone help me, where could I get a Golden Key
Thats something better for #feedback-hidden-archive I'm not a dev ๐
K will copy message there
From the Skeleton Captain mini boss below the golden door area at the tower. Low drop rate
okay thanks
@whole sluice tyvm
Welcome ๐
Thanks for answering everything, it's very nice of you!
No worries, love helping everyone out ๐
Btw what is the "steal" perk from the rogue exactly does?
If you have it equipped you can approach an enemy player in a match if you are within touching distance. A prompt will come up where you can 'pickpocket' them. You will then 'steal' one item from their non-equipped backpack. If they have nothing to steal it will let you know
Is War Cry currently working? I don't see it working.
quote the maddcowqq
It's working, yes
@whole sluice would you say the book has more utility than the magic ball?
Oh yeah, maybe a dumb question, but what happens when the time runs out for a map and you haven't used a portal yet?
I see a health increase from war cry at all. It doesnt feel like it is.
I dont see a *
check your stats before and after
For wizard?
it adds maximum life
Everyone dies at 0
yeah
lol good thing I haven't tried that myself then ๐
no point in using something else than book
yeah I dont think its working as intended, or at all.
no point in using wizard when ranger exists anyway lol
To be fair, Crystal sword is my personal fav because people sleep on it. It's got a spell parry, and it has good melee damage included magic damage which hardly any class has resistance to
Close second is dagger so I can poke and cast with off hand focus
you're melee'ing with a wizard? you're a brave soul
do you mean spell block? is parry implemented ? (block in sync with attack)
I get one shotted by almost anything, halbard, zwei, axe, 2 hits on rogue dagger etc etc
is there no difference in casting damage between the casting items?
I don't see a world where I'd use a melee weapon on my wiz instead of haste + invis to gain distance
Wizard is going pretty painfully slow to play due to their super slow spell recharge
only diff is movement speed @stable kindle
I mean, it casts the same as other focus and I don't have to turn and get poked, also haste + invis are sorely underused
No cast time difference
even the rarity of the item doesnt change the damage atm
Your whole team is at the other side of the map by the time you meditate twice or campfire
@whole sluice what would be your weapon loadout of choice for a cleric ?
movement speed is >* on wiz, so yeah -30 on the sword is too much for me to use it vs the book
Question about Strength that isn't addressed in the FAQ.
Lets say you have an item that gives you 1 Strength. Do we know how much weapon damage that comes out to?
Flanged + book
Wait
Sorry brain fog
There are stat thresholds, so it 'depends' what you're going from
Cleric setup is shield + flanged, and then casting prally book
not really but like one point of strength, to my extremly limited info and testing ive done since last night, adds 2.4285714285714285714285714285714% in physbonus dmg
No
@whole sluice
-Magical Power - Increase your overall spell power.
- Magical Healing - Increase the magical healing amount you receive from a healing spell.
- Will - Increases Spell Power, improves Buff/Curse Duration and improves your Magic Resistance
Magic power+WILL should improve the healing of my spells?
dang
thanks, impossible to dual wield a caster item + something as cleric, just like mage ?
Perfect, thank you
the sage corrected me
And does Magical Healing apply to the 15% heal when you heal another
So stats are a little weird. 15 is the 'neutral' stat block. Anything below gives penalties, anything above gives bonuses
The further you go the higher degree it will change
Yes
So where does the "threshold" come into play here?
It might not happen this playtest, but I'm going to try and have something to helpshowcase how stats and armor and all that works
Armor has pretty fast diminishing returns per point after a while
The max theoretical value of JUST base items with no bonuses from skills and/or + Armor stats is 323
When you get higher than what I posted
OH! Ok, so it stops becoming 1 to 1 after 22 STR?
But I have a lot of gaps because I could only do stats based on my rogue so the strength values are all low because there is only so much + strength I can stack
Isn't it better to only hold 1 dagger as a rogue because you get slowed once only or is dual wield offer really ? because I don't see any
Depends, the offhand dagger has an insane 3rd attack damage increase. Also, attack animation/combo chambers are a thing
is the beta gonna have paid access, and if not is there anyway to support the team?
Do you get slowed twice for having 2 daggers tho so -20 movespped ?
No idea and currently no
Judjing by aforemented "thresholds*, probably yes
Epic
so in theory only offhand dagger is the best of all : no -20 speed and dmg boost on 3rd attack
But the first 2 swings suck crap in hallways, they have WIDE sweeps
