Wins are only 2/3rds of it. For best results all your runners should strive for 1nd, 2nd, and 3rd. That's hard to do and not too realistic to always get, but as long as two place in the top three, that's pretty good results. It sounds like in some races you had a top runner who got the W, but the other two were flagging it.

how good is maru speed compared to kita speed?

both are front runner speed cards while tachyon is a pace chaser speed card

I think they're probably equivalent. Nothing beats the 80 training priority on Kita but if you run one or the other it probably averages out to the same gain from both. In everything else they're equivalent except Training Effectiveness, where Maru is better the higher the facility level's is

For Training Effectiveness, it equals Kita starting at Lvl 2 of the facility and every level is 5%, so double at 4

Crossed in red means they're identical

For Goldens it's as you say, Maru's is for FRers. Events, MAru gives better stats but doesn't have as much +Mood

The way I think of it is that, NTR is equivalent to Kita in MANT but only in MANT because you'll hit the 200k early. Going forward Maru is gonna be as good a Kita or the second best speed card to run

Numbers across cards don't seem to differ much unless it's the two/three things they chose to distinguish the card. So it's down to the number of effects, what they chose (Kita's 80 Priority, 15% RB on Neicha, etc) and the uniques

An S card like Kita just has a lot going right. Meanwhile a consistently A card like Seeking the Pearl, it's harder to tell.

In this case, it probably comes down to the unique being hard to benefit from.
