I dislike a lot of the stuff in later games, like the weird hologram mind reading pendant athena has
Its a cool gameplay system thats broadly plausable in concept, but the application in game always takes me out of the experience
But its also established to be near-future experimental tech so its less bad
The main reason i hate that bit in chronicles is because its set over a century ago
They could have done a camera and cinema screen for example, and the effect would have been significantly more plausible

I like to imagine there's some kind of connection between Van Zieks and maybe the von Karmas
