I'm halfway through Case 3. Maya was found guilty. Now investigations for the 2nd murder are underway. I used story mode at one point, and it takes me to the detention center, but Maya isn't there. Story mode sends me in a forever loop of trying to head to the detention center while I'm already there.

I think the family or other just reenacted the wedding again to make her none the wiser, and her attack happened the day prior. Her attacker was attacked, but the autopsy says he died that day of the "do over". There are dry ice fog machines. The body could have been put on ice.

This one is about the scientist being accused of murder, only to have a mass murderer's case be brought up to light. Kazuma's father was that mass murderer.

Soj: priest and his wife are rebels against the crown. Their apprentice is a rebel hunter that dies accidentally when he discovers the wife. The husband commits suicide to pin both deaths on Maya to save his wife because lawyers were mistrusted to get the right verdict
