that is good . any char is good depending on what you want or you want a certain style. for bosisng shade is pretty good and decent mobbing. best for mobbing right now is luminous i think

it all depends on your link skill and legion and gears

shadower is pretty strong i think. lower cp shadower will outdamage other higher cp job classes

Mods, since the issue with MFA login is still not solved can you guys forward a feedback/solicitation for events extension? Specially the giga burning since it expires next week and the next maintenance is probably around the same time making it impossible to level a character.

play whatever you like. Thankfully there are guides and videos for all classes ( since maplestory exists for a long time) So checking up to 5th job skills and playstyle should be the same for most versions of the game. That being said, if you are new player i would suggest getting an "easy to lvl and do bosses character" so maybe corsair/ ice-lightning mage (wont suggest fire poison even though i main him, WE NEED BUFFS! )

Bishops have exp buff so they lvl faster, but for a new player without links/legion/gear the damage output is lower than most classes, so you might not really like it

In any case, welcome to MSU! Anniversary event starts in 1 week so prepare for lots of good stuff 🙂 Feel free to ask any questions you might have, we are a good community here 🙂

idk i would say 6 man hard lomien on one character at least until you can do 4 man. Because of ember coins, chance at beserk and the other item. I have seen ppl win and sold for hundreds of millon of neso, and you usually win 1/3 of the raffle.

The main thing is able to do low man slime 2 man or solo, lucid 2/3 man, hard lomien. (for sure neso gain) . This is my ultimate goal on several characters.

I've seen many complains about DW when it first released being kinda weak compared to many classes regarding bossing, so between picking paladin and DW as boss mule which one would you better go for first ?

has always been DW, i always test the class before gearing it up. I remember clearing cpap at 1.2 mil cp and 80 IED took me 25 mins but i was able to clear (this was without nodeskill). Paladin is more of getting into parties but for dps I pick DW since i can clear lomien with 3 mil cp on it.

nono, just str for shade. There are no "roles", but there are classes that are better at tanking/supporting ( paladin/bishop etc)

hp does not really matter 😄 (ofc it does to a point, but late bossing all attacks do health% dmg ) . Stats in maplestory are more of a : this class gets more damage by getting more of this specific stat

Every class has a main and a secondary stat. Focus on the main stat ( the secondary is a small bonus) .

Getting to 200 + save all neso to try to hit 100 starforce with combine gear cheaply as possible to get 5th job. Than should be smoother from than on. Try to get into weekly bossing sell nodestone and wins and grind.

yes i was very low CP but i had advantage of having many characters when nodestone first came out selling 300k each it was great down to 150k for awhile now only 65k. I believe with v3 skill (meaning 5th job skill version 3) , nodestone goes back up to 100k hopefully. Since its most classes main bossing skill.

you will need to work towards 100 starforce either way

but it's also better to plan it out all at once, so u can ensure u have the needed gear pieces

As a main it is probably great but as a bossing mule its terrible. 1.5 mil + CP with cra + abso gear level 210 took me around 10 mins+ to solo CRA which is pretty bad. should take less than 5 mins with that setup. Its to node intensive and slot heavy reason to me its bad.

That's right, ALL the items I had listed were repriced. Two items have already been sold; I was able to cancel the rest.

For example, a staff item that was selling for 12 million was automatically repriced to 9 million, boots that were 3 million were repriced to 700k, and so on for all the items.

My wallet is safe and wasn't compromised; there's literally no way that has anything to do with it. And if my account had been stolen, the prices wouldn't have dropped; they would have given everything away, including characters, etc.

It's as if the market automatically lowered the price of all my items by "x"%, 25% in fact, if I'm not mistaken.
