I think the first step should be addressing the issue of these bots and people taking advantage of a system which is made to benefit the game and the community. That would return trust in such systems and the company itself. Then Layering or adding requirements to join such events could help minimize the number of bots yet that cannot stop them and would also exclude new players or mid level players that don´t fit in these labels if enabled. I think that most people concern is the bots going wild, doing profit, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the system for about 5 rounds without punishment, it really looks bad and should be addressed properly. I´m confident the company will make good choices here.

Instead of KYC, we propose Guild-based verification to reduce bots and multi-account farming.

Only Trusted Guilds (e.g. Guild Level ≥20, age ≥30 days, ≥70% active members) can endorse players.
A player becomes Guild-Verified after staying in a trusted guild, actively contributing, and receiving peer endorsements.

All guilds are publicly visible with clear stats and leaderboards (level, activity, reputation).
If bots concentrate in a fake or low-quality guild, it becomes obvious to the community and can be flagged quickly.

Guilds share responsibility: endorsing abusive accounts reduces guild reputation and may revoke verification rights.

Yes, also map botting is a know issue, and it´s constantly draining the game. Empty map and a lot of bot like behaviour players all across the maple hunting zones is quite evident, yet they keep evading game detection systems. To be honest there is much thread to cut there, suggestions, opinions and proofs are already being delivered by players and staff members. All is up to the company executives to address the manner properly and in the right time.

I think the firewall here could be the KYC system, adding more ID requirements, because first to operate you need a wallet to add funds, and to add these funds you need to verify it or pass some systems in order to activate it or use it along the ecosystem. Owning to that fact, they could add more layers, yet the first tool to discourage exploiting, bad behavior always will be punishment, that is why we have laws, justice system, law enforcers, etc. Play by the rules be rewarded, discourage them, be punished. After you prove that you need to sign an agreement, which we all do when we agree the game terms and conditions to use the service, after that what comes if you don´t follow the rules ? Punishment, that´s it. If you cut their profit which is their primary goal, that would hurt them. How?
