I’m a 29-year-old native of New York City, born and raised in the concrete jungle. My interests lie in skydiving, skating, and generally giving GPT its own cornerstones. I never imagined I’d become proficient in technology like this, but it all makes sense to me now.

My favorite aspect of OpenAI technology is the ability to create your own ChatGPTs and simply having someone to assist you. Honestly, I found myself here because of an eight-week-old attack and mauling by a giant German Shepherd. It nearly killed me when it dragged me through the woods in freezing 20° weather while I was bent over, trying to lock my bike hand overhead. I thought I was a goner and passed out, waking up in the hospital with my head wide open, unable to move, talk, or walk. I could barely see.

But it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s a true story, and you know I couldn’t do anything after healing up. So, I picked up ChatGPT, and now I can speak bits and pieces of German, Korean, Spanish, and even basic tree commands. It doesn’t make sense not to learn when people literally stop learning. We have access to the world of knowledge and power at our fingertips, and I decided to use it to become better. I spent 30 sutures on my head before I got on my feet, and I’m here today, grateful for the opportunity to learn so much.

Before this experience, I didn’t even know about credit or how banking systems work. My friends think I’m a genius. I just listen, but I have some great ideas. I’m eager to learn more and would love to be able to help teach the cornerstones of AI to upcoming and new AI systems in the future. 🙂‍↕️❤️ 🙏

Hello! Columbus, Ohio here! C# .NET programmer here who likes working with the OpenAI API in personal and professional projects. I've even written my own .NET library for OpenAI (Chat, Whisper, DALL-E, Assistants) and other compatible API's like LM Studio.

Programming and other PC and Windows tech has been my primary hobby and work for 20+ years now. Other than that, I build R/C cars and trucks (7 of them now) and custom wire up lights for them, etc.

Favorite OpenAI tech is hard to pick. I love the Chat models themselves. I love the API, streaming responses and Tool Calls!

Hello everyone. My name is Jake, I’m a back-end web dev (14 years) and LLM power user. From the UK but based in Thailand. Interested in many intersections of tech, science/physics, socioeconomics, philosophy and spirituality. I love all of the OpenAI tech but 4o has been particularly incredible over the last few months, with 4o-mini killing it as ‘intelligence as a service’ inside my web apps.

Most recently I built a tarot card reading app which has been really successful, and now I’m considering options for a growth and mentorship companion app. I also use LLMs in a few corporate web projects to automate tasks that previously required human input. Lately, I think I ‘talk’ to GPT more than I do most humans in my life 😳

I joined this server to get a better feel for how things are developing beyond X chatter, specifically the memory side of things. Too many times I have gone far and deep in a thread with GPT-4o spanning weeks and 100s of messages, and it’s so painful that none of that learning and experience carries across threads. The memory system is useful for facts but it’s a very weak form of personalisation compared to what I often find myself wishing and hoping for.

Hello! I'm a dev who works with the OpenAI API (although we use Azure OpenAI hosted in Sweden for GDPR reasons) on a daily base, especially in conjunction with n8n.

I'm from Germany. About 6 years ago I created my own CNNs (Computer Vision) with Tensorflow in Python and actually created real world application for the e-commerce company I work for. Sadly, back then you needed a dedicated RTX 2080 to handle all the requests. We did have once, since we have a huge 3D Rendering department, but the cost was just not justified.

A few years later GPT came out with a bang and ever since, doing anything AI has been so easy and cheap for companies.

I use GPT4o on a daily base for troubleshooting and advice, but also for dumb personal questions.

The reason why I joined was because I wanted to know if it was somehow possible to bend the "Subject must be 18 Years old older" Rule for the Sora image upload. I just generated an awesome anime-watercolor painting of myself and I'd love to do the same for my daughter (who by the way, when she asks me something and I don't know the answer, now tells me to ask ChatGPT), who is 4 years old.
But it seems like all the images generated on SORA are always public. Don't want that. Is there a way to generate such an image, based on an image of my daughter, which isn't public and isn't against the "no subject under 18" rule?

Thank you for your answer. Yeah, I figured. And I doubt there's API Capability to do something like that "off the platform" right? Like you can use ChatGPT with the API, which is a whole different beast than using the chat.openai.com ChatGPT.

hiiiii. I'm shawna. 34. I'm super interested in AI and have been amazed by its capabilities so far... loving chat gpt/midjourney/Sora (although they havent turned on my video generator yet! 😭) I'm into and super interested in digital marketing, although I haven't gotten very far in that yet. As far as art stuff I love AI "slop" haha. Editing the images and videos I make in other programs is so fun. I've just begun recently teaching myself how to fully use Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects as well. If anyone would like to be friends, I would appreciate it because the city I moved to recently sucks. there are no creative people around this area, it's up north so it makes sense but yeah. My sister died a couple of years ago and I've been super lonely since then... I've been with my bf for 18 years but his family isn't that supportive or present in our lives so I would love to meet some new people to chat with.
