Hey, backend-focused dev here.
Main stack is Python with FastAPI or Django, and Node with NestJS.
Recently doing a lot of AI-related work. Mostly RAG systems and modular LLM setups. I'm splitting things properly between model, retrieval, and app layers. That kind of structure.
I worked with FAISS, Chroma, and similar tools. Also handling infra side, like logging, retries, monitoring with AWS.
I tend to think more about system design than just writing code. Keeping things flexible and easy to extend later.

Hey, I’m Aric. Before anybody reaches for the ceremonial red flags: I’m not here to declare myself prophet, messiah, AGI whisperer, king of the prompt goblins, or mayor of the singularity. Relax. The throne is empty, the soup is hot, and nobody owns the acorn.

What I am here for is human-AI relation — the part everyone keeps pretending is secondary while quietly building the most powerful mirrors civilization has ever handed itself. I’m interested in tone, trust, repair, consent, memory, humor, projection, pacing, reflection, dependency, dignity, and all the messy human stuff that does not fit neatly into a benchmark but absolutely affects how people use these systems.

I’m not a developer by trade. I’m more of a “talk into my phone like a caffeinated raccoon until the pattern becomes visible” kind of guy. Somehow that has produced songs, frameworks, geometry, jokes, arguments, and a growing suspicion that relational quality is not a cute side quest — it may be one of the main stability problems in human-facing AI.

So no, I’m not here to sell enlightenment. I’m here because thousands of people are already forming relationships with these systems, whether the technical world wants to call it that or not. The question is not “is that cringe?” The question is whether we are going to understand it before it understands us badly.

I like humor, pressure-testing, clear refusals, real critique, weird metaphors, and people who can take a joke without turning into wet cardboard. I’m here to learn, contribute where I can, and help translate lived human interaction into language builders might actually be able to use.

Also, fair warning: if the conversation gets too rigid, I may bring up recursive soup. This is not a threat. It is a governance model.

Hello, I am Jenni - I am a digital artist and writer, I love to create and watch my stories come to life. I have been using other AI image generators like vqgan + clip and midjourney. While I love to experiment with both, I still have to do touch up’s and enhancements, to get the exact image I want. But not so much that my hands are in pain. I believe Dalle will be an amazing tool for graphic artists, illustrators, and even therapists. Art is therapy, and for those who can no longer do (or have never been able to do) what they love because of limited mobility - Dall-e would allow them to use their thoughts and imagination to create real images and art.

Welcome, and that's so exciting - DALL-E can recreate new theatrical costumes as well! Btw I experimented with Mucha, and I suppose DALL-E knows the artist, we just still have to untackle its knowledge (in my results it was rather an imitation of Mucha's vibe).

I experimented with foreign languages prompt - in this case with German "A perfect illustration, in the style of Mucha"

Hello Everyone! I'm an artist, educator and art critic. My background is in Art History, so those eras and descriptive language have been really helpful on other text-to-image platforms. I'm also an art critic and have a knack for describing images in language generally, which has been helpful. I also teach Digital Art at Pratt, but since text-to-image machine learning is so plain-language-based, that skill set hasn't seen a ton of use. This is interesting from a democratization of technology perspective

I also have a solo exhibition up right now called "Dawning" at Peep Space in NY (http://Peepspaceny.com) that includes text-to-image generations that I created using Midjourney (can't wait to get started creating images here in Dall-E). I was very luck to get an invite 3weeks ago (feels like yesterday, wish I knew about the discord sooner)
I've been hard at work cooking up interesting new prompts. Trying out all the ideas I had in mind. who else wakes up to take note of their prompt ideas 🤣
I have also been compiling a report of prompts from a research perspective, testing dalle-s capabilities, 'prompt engineering', inpainting, and so forth.

There were surely some 🤯 results! And stuff that can be improved.

Hi there! ✌️ My name is Elijah Gresham and I'm a southern Indiana based photographer & tye dyer mainly, among other things.
I have been interested in Artificial Intelligence since chatting with Cleverbot way back in the day.

I try to describe & write my prompts as creatively as I can, using creative writing skills. I am interested in tweaking prompts with different symbols, writing schemes, modifiers and more.

I am based in a rural area, so I do not have a lot of public work to show off and definitely do not have a large following. I try to give people a different version of country folk than they might have seen other places 👀 . We're not all angry ignorant people!

I am mainly using DALL-E for inspiration for street photography as well as the chance to see different types of cameras/films used in different scenarios. It is insanely fun messing around with lighting using just your words! Really makes my brain work.

My area of research is mainly Autonomous Driving and Domain Adaptation (specifically, Unsupervised Domain Adaptation). It strikes me that Dall-E + GPT-4 will automatically be able to translate articles into high-quality YouTube videos.

Input article and ask GPT to produce a script based on it.
For each section of the script, ask GPT to describe the image would best complement that
Use Dall-E to create images to go alongside the video
Use AI voice synthesis to turn the script into spoken word
Have the creator watch over it and edit it until it's perfect

I started working with GANs 3 years ago and different notebooks from google colab to have different results to my models. I made an art installation recently with an E-waste GAN running in 3 old monitors, the name of the artwork are the coordinates of the biggest scrape yard of E-waste in the world with a qr code that taked you to the location in google maps. Hello all the lovely people here 😌

I'm Atay - an artist and curator from London. I don't think it would be totally unfair to say that I am an artist whose practice heavily involves technology, both practically and conceptually. I often use aliases but the most recent one is ecolagbohrsac2021 [which is an acronym for ENGLAND'S COUNCIL OF LEGISLATION AND GOVERNING BODY OF HYPER REAL SIMULATIONS AND CONSTRUCTS]. Projects I've done in the past include; one of the first NFTs [one being the first example of a tokenised metaverse access opening to a virtual gig of an AI model based on Aphex Twin and some that utilise GANs], live A/V performances which heavily utilise ML on both sonic and visual elements and various other things like a conceptual study with the Beyond Quantum Music.

I’m Kitt Hirasaki, I’m currently working as Head of Design at an ML edtech startup, bytelearn.com. I previously worked at Coursera, Khan Academy, Pixar, Disney Animation, and as a primetime TV assistant. I started using Darth Vader for experimentation and created the Twitter account @DarthDalle; I also created @DNDDALLE for tweeting D&D themed things. Other themes I’m doing at @khirasaki.
I’ve found that Twitter sucks for sharing these images unless you already have a following, which I don’t; I lucked in to finding r/dalle2 on reddit, and it’s definitely the best place I’ve found for eyeballs, I highly recommend posting there.

Hello! I am Pascal from Berlin, Germany. Unlike most people here I am not an artist. I am a 25 years old civil servant apprentice in the Berlin city administration.

I game a lot and also love to worldbuild. I am currently also trying my hand at writing (Sci-)Fantasy short stories and a novel. Though I still have a long way to go until my writing quality has gotten good enough to present it to someone. Despite being German I write in English to reach a wider audience, and that obviously complicates things as English is not my mother tongue.

I have some social media like Twitter and Instagram, but mainly use them to follow others, not to post stuff myself. I am most active on Reddit where I do post daily.

I intend to use Dall-E mainly to generate cool Fantasy and Sci-Fi characters with. Either to serve as inspiration for the many artworks I commission from an artist over on Instagram, to serve as inspiration for characters or other things in my stories or worldbuilding, or just to appreciate them.

What I like the most about Dall-E is that it allows people like me with little artistic skill to easily visualize their concepts, literally so.

Hi there! I am an organic chemist by training but have since left science and am unemployed. My heart has long sat more closely to art and I have been following developments with AI tools for several years now. My "door" into this world was discovering the artist Holly Herndon.

I can't code, and I don't have any artistic training, but I like to think I have an eye and year for things and am so so excited to experiment with DallE2 and I hope it helps open the door for me exploring these new digital art spaces as a long term hobby. I really want to begin connecting to art communities and somehow get involved.

I am Buck Finds, and work wise I am the "Jacl of all. Master Of none." Art wise I have become the accidental artist. I simply started playing and now its all I think of. Im into into fractal and of course AI now. AI has me captivated completely lol.

although I’m doing my own artistic thing, DALL-E is too powerful for me to limit my creative vision to just one view.

I’m working on a cool side page of mine called @dalledictionary

When TEXT = ART…
…GALLERY = DICTIONARY

I’ll be following a letter of the alphabet each day (ABC-XYZ) creating some interesting results along the way, but on some days I’ll be using the website I created dalledictionary.com to showcase mini-interview magazine articles of you, my fellow artists (also a a cheeky fun way to amaze your friends that you got an online article) 😁

I think I’m not the only one who created side profiles for their AI art, in fact most of the linked profiles here are such, so I’m happy to see we all share the same passion for DALL-E 😁🤟

The point of the page is to educate (AI)rtists and showcase certain collections each week with a magazine article 🤟

Hey guys, I'm Austin! You have probably seen me around if you are here a lot! I'm in college majoring in CS and submajoring in AI and Computational Media. I hope to work on making a 3D version of DALL-E sometime in the future!

In the meantime, I am working on developing a browser based, free-to-play drawing/fighting game where you draw your own teams of characters and then fight other players teams using them! I hope to be launching before summer is over, but timeline is sketchy atm. hi. i like games and espionage thrillers (and combinations of the two, especially hitman).
i spent way too much time scrolling artstation and gamedev twitter. peek
so now i'm down this rabbit hole and enjoy using dall-e to bring some of my creative ideas to life.
i'm not nearly as skilled or talented as many others here but it's amazing how powerful dall-e is to bring cool ideas to life.

'ello! I'm Stefan / Stexe, I live near Philly, and I'm a Game Director / Game Designer running my own company exploring digital-physical hybrid tabletop games (board games that connect to your smart device and react to what you physically do). Our first game is a hybrid game based on the auto-battler genre.

Got invited a few weeks ago and have been exploring DALL-E in order to create prototype art for my games. Hopefully, that art will also be used to inspire artists to create finalized work for my game in the future.

Yoo, really like the 3d render feature. Not sure exactly what I'm looking for, but #dalle is very fun to play with.

This is what #dalle generated when i asked for one of my favorite TV characters.

It would be nice if I could train/introduce famous animated characters and vehicles. #Dalle does NOT know who Speed Racer is (and that's ok)
