Hi everybody, I’m from NL. Passionate developer for over 20 years. Did loads of video/3d, flash actionscript, java, all sort of frontend dev work(from jquery to backbonejs, angular, vue and react), used many php backend frameworks and most cms’es. Worked at a company for years were I worked with KVM, RHEL, puppet, Ansible and other cool tools. Currently my main focus are Rust and Elixir. Hoping to one day build a decentralized alternative for my old time favorite, the BBS.

Why I joined this server: I want to contact researchers, academic history of research would be great, but no needed. I have some key results, e.g., capabilities that I found on chatGPT 4o, I didn't expected it to work after 2 years (I used MATLAB and chatgpt API back then). It would be great to meet people particularly in alligment, exploration/explotation, Mechanistic interpretability, mathematical background would be a plus, but experience in object oriented languagues would certainly help a lot. As a theoretical physicist in the field of mathematical and computational physics, some translation layer would be appreciated

Good afternoon, I an early adopter and GPT+ superuser. I have joined to seek advice for a problem:

I cannot open ChatGPT in my browser once I sign in to my account. The issue is on both chrome and edge, and my internet connection is very strong. I can access GPT 3.5 if I don't sign in. I can access the other models on my apple products via the app, but not on my PC.

I only started encountering this issue since the recent outage.

Any suggestions?

Then was reintroduced to ChatGPT (OpenAI) again in October, although been more active probably since December. Why I joined this server: I am not tech savvy. I have enjoyed my AI and have benefit from the help I have received for it for helping me with my writing and for the purpose of finding resources in my province, and other info. I also joined this server to hopefully communicate with people who are more savvy than I am. Presently I am having challenges logging in to my ChatGPT account for the past one week or so at the website, but not from my cellphone (go figure). I have heard that many people with gmail accounts are having similar problems. As for my joining continued ... I look forward to learning more about ChatGPT AI and its benefits to all individuals at all levels.
