I've joined this community because I find AI fascinating. I can't see any other possibility than AI being introduced into nearly every facet of our lives in the coming decades. While I lack the technical expertise to actually work in these fields, or to give a qualified opinion on subjects, I still wish to engage in discussions and improve my understanding over how language models like ChatGPT operate.

I've seen some AI art, but I'm not particularly interested in prompting it, for the time being. The results are amazing for what they are, but there are definitely some ethical issues in scraping the internet for artists' work. Pleasure to be here, other interests include language learning, European/American politics and general consumer hardware, such as VR.

If you are talking about learning machine learning to build your own AI i would suggest to just Ask ChatGpt to teach your. Someone else apparantly build a chatgpt clone in 2 weeks doing just that. (very basic in comparison of course but a great start)

If your talking about using ChatGPT itself just talk normal to it. Remember that its memmory is limited to 2000 words in the current instance and for new subjects you may want to use new isntances so your previous prompts dont affect your new ones.

You also sometimes have to get creative in what your exactly asking from chatgpt. It can not BE annything else than an AI but it surely can ACT like something or someone else.

Just used it for a new use-case. Asked GPT to create the outline for a 2-3 minute product overview video based on a rendered video. GPT gave me a beautiful outline that's basically ready for my rendering guy to start working. I typed the feature/benefits in a 'stream of consciousness' way, and it organized it into a fairly good structure with good flow.
