Bing is 100% to do with making sure it is politically aligned and always provides acceptable answers. I presume that it's the same case for ChatGPT. I feel like I remember watching an interview with Sam Altman stating that the more restrictions added to the models, the worse they become (completely makes sense)

Well chatgpt wasn't announced to the government when it was being released. There is a trial going on right now about AI safety and lots of talk about creating regulations around AI. When you make a model, it takes lots and lots of compute power so you can't just remake the model if there's an exploit in it. For example, when it was initially released you could ask it how to make a bomb and it would explain it. Now, you can't.

As for apps on the appstores, I would stay away from any that require you to pay for sure. There is an official ChatGPT app out for iOS.

Def. I had removed it by accident. It all started with Bitwarden. I thought my account was hacked, but then I found their website stopped accepting autofills from Bitwarden. Found that you need to input the PW yourself, otherwise you'll get an error.

Turned ON OTP for extra security. Blah blah. Long story short. The mess up is on my end, but they should at least provide some updates on when to expect a response.

I can't even use my phone number. Hate companies that do that bull. Buying a non-voip to set up a new account and getting plus again. Good tool just a pain to handle any potential issues you might encounter.

Currently, there has been no official announcement regarding Android. Although there are several similar apps available on Google Play, most of them have a rather poor usability. However, I have developed BrainCHAT, an app that stands out for its user-friendly interface. While it does contain advertisements, they are not excessive like in other apps of the genre, and they can be easily removed through an extremely affordable subscription.

I would have liked to make the app available without ads and without the paid option, but unfortunately, that was not possible due to the costs associated with the OpenAI API.

Hey guys, I'm new to the community, so hope you all can help me out here a bit.
I’m working on a project where I want to do the following:

I have a list of a huge number (around 3000) predefined functions that are callable in some third-party library on Python.
I also have a description of all of these 3000 functions, as well as how a random person would call that function. For example, if the function finds exp(x), then the user command would be “What’s the e to the 10th?”
Here’s what I want my model to do:

With the knowledge of this dataset, I want a model where based on a user command, it tells me which function/s to use (these could be compound functions/ stacked commands). These functions can ONLY be out of these pre defined 3000, and can not hallucinate and create its own functions (which the fine-tuning seems to be doing).

Example of a compound function -
Let’s say there exists a function only to multiply, and to divide by integers. If the user says “Multiply this by 1.5”, the model must return (even if it is without parameters it is alright) multiplyTwoNumbers > divideTwoNumbers [where these 2 are part of the 3000]
Example of a stacked command -
Multiply by 10 then print the value
It must output multiplyTwoNumbers > printValue [where again, these 2 are part of the 3000]

Please help me out as to how I can go about doing this. Fine-tuning seems to be causing a lot of problems with the model hallucinating functions, as well as it not being able to do the compound commands (since the fine-tune uses primarily only the NLP part of it in my opinion, and not other parts such as previous knowledge in that library, or math/ algebraic knowledge).

i have heard that in some of these LLMs, data from previous chat sessions are used in new chat sessios. i know that the training pool gpt-4 is contrained to september 2021, but some of the generated text I'm getting is nearly identical to text in other chats. i've checked the prompts in previous sessions that generated the same text, but i'm not seeing the similarities prompts. cue scary music. anyone have wisdom to bring to bear?

the only advice I can give you is not to use a VPN. Many VPNs are blocked by Cloudflare on behalf of OpenAI because people use them to try to avoid geographic restrictions.

I have a issue with obtain one time password to login to my Open AI account. I have OpenAI account which was neither registered by Google Account nor Microsoft account. I met a problem when I tried to login. The system ask me " check your preferred one-time password application for a code". However, I have never setup two factor authentication for my account, nor linked to any authenticator. Therefore, I have no way to obtain the one-time password and I have been completely blocked out by my own account.
There was one time when a QR code generated and I scan it by iphone camera. A code generated in the password sector in settings of my iphone. You may try something that worked fine for me. I joined chatGPT-4 back in March, but soon after I started using it it began to tell me that I had no access. After many unsuccessful attempts it began to give me another message: "You have been blocked". I tried to contact the help desk many times and no one ever gave me a satisfactory answer. The weird thing about it was that I had no problem accessing it with my phone or with my tablet. I tried all kinds of solutions suggested by many people. Today I tried something new and it worked, which made me very happy: I began to use Chrome 113 with their VPN, and.... voila, success. Try that and let me know if it worked for you. Good luck.

You can manually ask ChatGPT to summarize in sections that it can comprehend and collect those responses onto a separate document, though again this final document would have to be under the token limit. Or, you can use something like AutoGPT with long-term memory vector databases, which would be able to have a final goal of understanding the text and complete it in an automatic manner.

Though the latter is going to require some technical knowledge to be able to run the program

Then, I looked at the OpenAI Playground and noticed that when I activate the chat mode, it provides a chat environment that suits my business needs perfectly.

My question is, I want to create a custom chatbot, and although I have fine-tuned the Davinci model, it didn't give me the desired outputs. However, when I look at the Playground, the outputs there are exactly what I want. Can I extract the model for use in app from the Playground? I'm trying it, but it's the gpt-3.5-turbo-0301 model. I'm not sure what to do next, so if anyone knows, I would appreciate their assistance

The thing is I would love to use GPT to help me with that.
Currently I am using ChatGPT Plus and the help is pretty great...but at the same time it is awful because chat doesn't have access to the entire solution and sometimes creates complete abstraction even if I use many detals (including all classes he needs etc).

Does anyone know the limit on the number of API prompt tokens for DALL-E? I want to combine text generation using GPT 3.5 Turbo with image generation using DALL-E, but I often encounter errors due to exceeding the token length.

I'm trying to do a fine tunning model of Davinci. The model resulted is quite.. weird. He's not answering any of my questions trained by prompt, or even normal ones "what is x capital ?"

My scope is to teach him information about a particular company and then he should be able to answer questions like "what is my company name? " "Your company name is X"

I have a theory that this davinci is really inferior to the davinci from chat gpt completion ? Aka he's not well trained to speak. Am I wrong?

Fine-tuning isn't meant for teaching it information, if you're doing Q/A you should be using embeddings.

And yes, the base davinci will also be lot worse than GPT-3.5
