Hello, I have the idea of giving ChatGBT a pen and paper rule set to generate automated, playable characters in the next step. Currently, my approach is to divide the rule set into multiple individual sections and input them. In this process, ChatGBT should only respond with "Ok" until I say that the rule set is complete.
However, ChatGBT only writes "Ok" during the first input and starts completing the text with its own ideas in subsequent inputs.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can prevent it?

If someone knows a better way, I would be grateful for any advice based on experience 🙂

embeddings are not teaching, they are just there to serve as a tool to search relevant info, you can do semantic searching with your own brain too

if you need it to generate prompts for mj/sd, you can use a method called few shot training
few shot training is basically just giving it examples

yes, they are both Chromium browsers so will both be affected by a problematic plugin or extension which may block page resources being loaded properly from ChatGPT.

Chrome on mobile wouldn't have the same plugins and extensions that may be installed on your desktop machine, you should go through each extension or plugin on your desktop and turn them off to see which is causing the problem. In the meantime Firefox will work splendidly.

Cloudflare has some special sauce they now use as they are basically global providers and can often track packets from origin to destination even through a VPN as they handle the outbound and receiving nodes traffic, so it’s possible that some connections slip through the cracks.

LLMs are very costly, what about allowing people to have SLMs for custom specialized use? Even VSLMs (very small language models) would be something to consider for doing super small task.

Having a huge LLM is good to cover many things but there are people who wouldn't need to train and use lots of data, just what they are doing. It doesn't make sense to use an LLM if you can just use GPT3.5/4 or something else.

There are tasks that GPT3.5/4 and others do not have information and guidance routing about.

Creating tools for people to create some very quick VSLMs would be very ideal as most people in the world don't possess tons of data but whatever data they have should be part of a language model. Many AGI iterations can be generated on that to be suffice enough to prompt.

I'm sure that can be done with a .PDF but if OpenAI can make something like that without having to save it as a .PDF too it would be cool.

when you use a VPN, the service will allocate the same IP for too many people, since there are too many people using the same IP on ChatGPT, it blocks it, not becuase of the VPN but because there are too many requests from the same IP

Thanks Robert, I appreciate that. I don't have any specific issues at the moment. Maybe one question—anyone aware of recent changes to the dall-e API? I haven't changed my prompt at all, but the results have suddenly become exceptionally similar. I don't see any announcements on the blog about changes, but it sure has changed.

I don't think there has been any significant change to the DALL-E API, I certainly haven't seen anything concrete to suggest there has been.

Thanks so much for the info. My Dall-E prompt is being used to generate avatars for roles on a team. You can see the results here if you're interested in seeing the issue - http://makethedreamwork.com/. The teams are listed in order, getting older as you go down the page. Recently generated teams avatar images have a burgundy & lime green color palette for some reason, and very similar looking features. But as you look at teams further down the list you can see the images used to be much more diverse. The prompt looks like this and has been unchanged.

"3D rendered cartoon avatar of {role} from Atlanta, highlight hair, centered, studio lighting, looking at the camera, dslr, ultra quality, sharp focus, tack sharp, dof, Fujifilm XT3, crystal clear, 8K UHD, highly detailed glossy eyes, high detailed skin, skin pores, international, NOT ugly, NOT disfigured, NOT bad"

It's OK if you can't help with this though. I'm looking into other image generating services.

that's really interesting, I don't know what could account for the change unless it's just a coincidental thing. DALL-E can produce unpredictable responses when using the same prompt over and over again. I would ask about this in #images-discussions and see if any of the users there can shed some light on this.
