Yeah, I mean 3.5 still seems to be pretty fast but GPT-4 has been slightly more unresponsive on my browser/ mobile. I just downloaded the app and GPT-4 is way slower in certain scenarios using the mobile application. If you go to the history tab in the iOS app, it shows the chat name and its model specification. For GPT-4 it's "GPT-4 (Mobile, V2)" I'm assuming there could be a difference in the models if they had to label it "mobile". My other GPT-4 queries using online browsing are labeled "Web Browsing."

If you just send one message here and there maybe you wouldn't notice it but I'm basically using it probably 8 to 9 hours a day so 4:00 to 5 seconds per message slow down it's huge to me

Yeah, currently away from home but the delays for GPT-4 for me have always been around 3-5 seconds vs 3.5 where it's practically instantaneous. Although, how are you using it 8-9 hours a day with the 25 restriction limit every 3 hours; but yeah, it'll generally forget the original reference if you keep chatting away, but I know for sure it got better from 3.5 and I'm pretty sure this is an issue that was addressed to be significantly better than 3.5 somewhere on the OpenAI website.

Trying to understand more about public vs. private data for companies, from what i understand is that private data needs to be scrubbed/anonymized before being placed into the engineered prompt w/ embedding. Can enterprises take advantage of the plugin paradigm and control who gets to use the plugin that LLM calls, or does it have only be public data thats available for ANYone to ask for?

I am a new, active Chat GPT subscriber and am logged into my subscription account, and selected Chat GPT 4, even enacted the beta web browsing option. It is my understanding that Chat GPT 4 is multi-modal, however, the interface I am accessing through my subscription only allows text input. hello I have a finetune model trained on davinci but it seems that finetuned models only support text completions because I get the following error:

'This is not a chat model and thus not supported in the v1/chat/completions endpoint. Did you mean to use v1/completions?'

although I can use my finetuned model for text completion it doesn't align with the task I want it to do so I'm wondering if I can retrain my model for chat-specific based model or is there no way to do this?

the thing is that when you use browsing mode, then the AI actually have the URLs of where it picked up things, so then it is able to provide the link to it

it is basically as good at maths as a smart person without a calculator

hey guys, i have a weird glitch: basically of one of my saved conversations randomly stopped working. I keep getting the "Something went wrong" message every time I try to regenerate a response. Because of this continuous error, I can't type new things in the chat. All other conversations work perfectly fine though, but it's important for me to keep that particular conversation going because I've had it since March. Also, I've tried all the troubleshooting options like clearing my cache/cookies, changing networks, changing browsers etc. and nothing helped. I tried using my phone instead, but that specific conversation won't even load (the chat just appears blank), while all the other ones work perfectly

Hey I want to build an agent that when fed with all my online interactions, whatsapp, discord , etc, and prompted with a question, it is able to recommend the person that would be best able to answer the question. I was wondering how do I go about building this? which model do I use? Do I store embeddings of each message and then devise the cosine similarity, but in this case it would look for the meaning of each message instead of overall theme? so if I prompt with somethign generic - say world history, but chats specifically deal with say, how mughals ruled over India, then this would probably not work. What steps should I take to achieve the goal? Would really appreciate it if someone can help me with that.

It does give u a QR Code using which u have to enter a code to enable 2FA in the first place. Without the QR Code, you cannot enable 2FA.
