i had the same thing, had to add a credit card to use it again, you pay for how much you tokens you use. Doesnt seem that expensive if you dont use it all the time tho, been on it for a few weeks and spent like 2 dollar, and most of that is from generating dall-e images which are counted differently and kinda expensive compared to the language models

I found out that there is a moderation model. So if u make a gpt dc bot u you could sent the prompt to the moderation first and if nothing violated tos it will go through the gpt3.5 turbo or gpt4 model. So the biggest concern is that users could sent violating prompts to the bot that bypasses the moderation model, gpt3.5 and 4 generates it. Then the owner of the api gets suspended because the user bypassed the moderation model.

This really is a programming matter. What should be happening is that your code is what first sends to the moderation model, then to the final model for completion. The user should never interact with the models directly. If for some reason you are allowing that, then you may want to have them provide their own OpenAI API keys that can send data on their own behalf.

Also, when sending a request, you can send a user ID along with the request. If the result is denied for violating the terms, you can find (as long as you keep a record) the user who sent the data. Then, use this information to handle that user. But again, your own code should be handling what is/isn't sent to the API endpoints.

but I'm not sure if I set my input and labels correctly.

Goal: The input will be some objects and the LLM should output a story about the objects.

My Idea was this: input (X) and labels (y)

I have tried:

• Using other computers or devices. It works in all of them, except mine.

• Making a new OpenAI account. Did not fix the issue.
• Turning off shields and VPN. No avail.
• Using a different browser Went from Brave (Chromium-based) to Edge. Issue persisted.
• Clearing cookies and cache. Did not help.
• Turning off all extensions. Nuh-uh.

At this point, I don't know what to do. OpenAI's support won't give me an answer so I'm hoping you guys can help me with this problem

Does anyone know how to fix the "OpenAI's services are not available in your region" right after log in? Only getting it at home. At work I can log in without any issues and then use the products at home, so the issue only affects login. Been getting this error for about a week now. I have prem.
It's available in my country and I was able to log in previously on the same devices at the same place. No VPN or anything, and IP location is always within the same region.

So I enabled VPN, logged in, disabled VPN, and now I can use ChatGPT without any issues and without VPN. I think if it was completely blocked - I wouldn't be able to.
I found info that ChatGPT is banned in some regions in Ukraine (that are occupied by russia), but I'm in a completely different region.
I think the OpenAI login GeoIP services might confuse the town my ISP provides with a different one in the banned region (we have lots of towns in Ukraine with the same name). And at work, my ISP provides slightly different location, within the same region but differently named.

Update: Yep, some IP Geolocation services say I'm in Donetsk, where ChatGPT is banned 🤦‍♂️
