I’m able to login and open the ChatGPT without issues, however, after I type the prompt, I can’t send it as the submit button (the one with the paper plane icon) is greyed out. Also, I can’t see the old chats. Instead, there is a message saying “Unable to load history”.

I tried logging off then logging in again, using different browsers, restarting browsers, restarting the computer, and using different computers and phones, to no avail.

Tutorial on how to get chat history back instantly (or at least it worked for me)

1.) Open DevTools on Chrome/Edge/Other Chromium browser
2.) Go to Network
3.) Locate the network request to the URL "chat.openai.com/backend-api/accounts/check" in the list of requests displayed in the Network tab.
(if nothing shows up on 3.), CTRL + F5 while having devtools open, now everything should load up)
4.) Right-click on the request and select "Block request URL" from the context menu.

A dialog box may appear asking you to confirm that you want to block the request URL. Click on "Block" to confirm.

Reload again and your chat history should appear again.

But anyways, open every chat you have so that the chat's URL is saved in your history tab, then remove the block network request and your plus should come back but you will lose access to the history (inside of ChatGPT). Now, you can access each chat from your history chat.

I just checked and it disappears while the network request block is in place. Just open your important chats by clicking on them and then reload without the block.

Now, to access the chat history with plus, just open your browser’s history. Open the chats you want from there.
