try logging out, resetting your cookies and cache, waiting a couple minutes, and then logging back in
being logged out for a moment seems to resolve most people's issue
you can also try another browser or incognito/private modes

I was trying to put in the prompt a list of items and their characteristics. A sample here :

- Abyssal Mask: 500 Health, 300 Mana, 40 Magic Resist, 10 Ability Haste. Eternity: Restore Mana equal to 7% of premitigation damage taken from champions, and Health equal to 25% of Mana spent, up to 20 Health per cast, per second.Unmake: Curse nearby enemy champions, reducing their Magic Resist. For each Cursed enemy, gain Magic Resist.

However as I have too many items I get an error message telling me that I'm using too many tokens. I don't want to shorten it because every item description is important.
So I thought maybe fine-tuning would help here but I have no clue how I would do that given the format required :

maybe can you try it in https://platform.openai.com in playground, and you select Chat, and adjust the parameters on the right panel, like max length, assume text is 600 in length not exceeding the 4000+, so should be ok, but you can also try to split long text into small pieces which should also works.

for example, you can send three separate paragraphs, one small paragraph for each send, by traning it in this way, since they are sent in same session and conversation, so chatgpt know they have dependencies.

The thing is the item list itself is over 4000 tokens and I need it to be fully taken into consideration otherwise for example if I ask what's the best item for X champion and it doesn't have all the items in the prompt it can an answer that's not good

Since chatGPT has rate limit so if you keep using API by endpoint exceeding 1200 requests per hour then you may have triggered hourly rate limit, you may need to wait until new quota is grant. Looks services like chatGPT does not impact.

I have been cross checking with the Bing Chatbot the stuff the ChatGPT generates.

The good thing about the Bing bot is that it references its sources. ChatGPT seems to make up a lot of things. I asked it for help with writing an essay about the Amistad case of 1839-1841. It got the facts f the story all twisted and misquoted the leader of the African Captives. It has been just really off lately.

Yeah agreed, for writing there are two things I love it for. When I have a large number of dot points but am struggling to start the writing process. It gives me an ok draft that I can then tear apart and improve upon. I also love having a back and forth conversation with it where it will draw the knowledge out of me and form it into a coherent plan. "I am writing a paper on the relationship between X and Y. I have Z results and I want you to help me create a structure for the paper by you asking me questions and going through each section one at a time" Works really well

But when going through the checkout it told me it has sent a code to my mobile phone number. But I don't recognise the last few digits of the phone number it was showing. maybe use GPT-3 API/playground and tinker with the parameters? you'll have more control than with ChatGPT, and you can also finetune it if necessary

I do see the sorta, bill cut off, that you can set. But I'm wondering if there was something more scalable that wouldn't have such a sudden/abrupt interruption if I hit the cap.
