Hey dudes. Can someone help me? I am using chatgpt to plan and code a couple of apps, one swift/Xcode, one ruby. When chatgpt gives me the code, it gets cut off. Saying “please continue” doesn’t format correctly or completely, and having it pasted to a gist apparently doesn’t work either, it cannot be found (404). Not too long ago, about 30 labworkers in Japan were killed by 3 AI robots being created for military use. They gave the AI too much power meaning though they dismantled 2, the third latched onto a satellite to try to build itself stronger. So if we give chatgpt a chance to build itself, we are getting that step closer to AI being more dangerous than nukes as Elon Musk said. Why can't the AI remember the current session and use logic based off previous replies and directions.

I used to be able to promt it, then work with it to produce what I desired. Now it's almost like ever prompt is new and even if it does remember previous directions and its own replies it does not use that knowledge.

It used to just fine, now for the last week it won't and I can not even recreate past experiences. So what was once possible is now not and this is keeping me from subscribing as I no longer has an value unless it can use logic to incorporate previous prompts with the new prompts for a continuous workflow..

I second @still grove , you can use it as a tool, in which case plagiarism shouldn't be an issue. I'm a master's level student, but I would never use Chat GPT to write assignments for me. It's great for evaluating the text I have already written, proofreading and cleaning up mistakes.
