Thanks to the brilliant people at OpenAI for continually improving ChatGPT models. I now have over ten trained machine learning models that are successfully training and providing accurate predictions on the stock market.

On a related note, to ensure I have the best chance of success, I’ve kept up with other AI models. From my experience, ChatGPT (especially with coding) has consistently outperformed its competitors. It’s actually quite painfully embarrassing to compare the 'resolves' from top benchmarking models that claim to be "better than GPT." Their outputs are cringe in comparison.

Roll out for voice access is slow and it's not like everyone will get it. Usually when the rollouts are underway and devs find any issue they may pause the rollouts and would not resume the rollouts until the fix is ready for the issue. So you have to wait until the rollouts are officially completed.

and i have tried so hard to push its limits and break it

i havent been able to break its guidelines in any severe way

in that aspect it feels like its ready for the public

However theres one big bug that keeps happening that makes it feel like its not ready. when you talk to it for a long time eventually the voice kind of gets messed up. It gets lower and lower in volume and more high-pitched for some reason. usually about 30 minutes in to a talk is when it starts to get weird

kinda technical but just one intesive task is async comunaticaion. and the parsing on the response. the longer conversation then bigger the json. and your browser converts this json to text. on images i belive it is base64 endoded when you get them so that also needs converting.

I think the first question was maybe answered with "no" because the model wasn't sure whether you were asking if the 40ms value was somehow cumulative with the 33ms value and some other value. A question like "Are these values cumulative when considering, for example, an action I take reaching the other player?"

And then in the followup: I'm wondering if maybe the "yes/no" split might have been caused in part by the 33ms value being changed to just 30ms. Maybe the model was assuming the 30ms was a typo, so the "not exactly" was because it wanted to specify the 33ms value you provided originally. Just guesses!

the major problem of LLMs rn is that people ask them questions that they can answer correctly, but dont because of bad prompting

for example, take majority of reasoning type questions, but you ask it to reply with yes/no first
due to probablisic nature of LLMs theres a chance it types out an incorrect yes/no answer, and then proceeds to come up with BS explanations for it, because it does not have a delete/backspace option, it goes on generating
if you give it time to first reason on the question and elaborate on an answer, it will more likely provide the correct one based on the explanation

I am also facing the same issue on the mobile app. I reported it on platform.openai.com. They asked me to perform a number of trouble shooting steps, despite doing it, the issue persists. They haven't responded or addressed the issue yet. Then I reported the issue along with the required details via email to [[e-mail]], and they responded immediately and assured me to resolve the issue ASAP.

The web UI in a desktop browser. Other things I've noticed, is the top of each input and output in the conversation is a header with text my screen reader will speak instad of the inaudible icons my screen reader would silently skip. I've been a chatgpt user almost since day 1. I lost my sight a couple months ago, still bumping into accessibility issues as I learn how to navigate with keyboard and use NVDA. I had to ditch Windows Narrator, it wouldn't scroll the chatgpt window to let me hear other parts of it. I'd noticed the lack of response to pgup and pgdn keys back when I could still see, glad NVDA seems to bypass those issues.

Well, this just started for me today. Just yesterday I was needing to trace back in the tree a bunch to find the better outputs. It was easy. press enter on the button, tab once to verufy the number changed, tab back to keep going if I wasn't where I wanted yet. This grabbing the focus is new and totally unwanted. Before today, it would only grab the focus if I hit the edit button. It wouldn't even grab focus when regenerating. It'd stay there on the arrow buttons. I almost never try to do anything until it finishes writing. Cause of that, I have to wait longer than is needed since I get no audio feedback when it finishes.

that said, sometimes it never toggles to finished. i find if my chat gets very large it can get 'stuck'. i know this to be fact as i can see the tool calls being made to my custom gpt endpoint, while the browser window is not updating at all. when this happens, i tend to reload the window and sure enough all the remaining text appears from the fresh start. typically i then instruct chatgpt to prepare 'detailed instructions for the next instance to complete the work'... then start a new chat.

I mean for me who used to be a pplx pro user, I like it way more since I can use it as a search engine, also I feel like it's way more easier to understand the interface with since there's the text, one image if necessary, and then 3 tabs on the left. Also I don't remember there being hyperlinks in pplx unless they just added them in. Lastly, compared to pplx pro this is also way faster. The only downside I guess to searchgpt, is no file uploading so you can't directly ask it to search for something similar to it I guess, but if you needed to, you can just go back to the regular chatgpt models and then do it there, searchgpt I think is really only meant to take the search feature from chatgpt 4/4o and bring it literally as a search engine

It's honestly astounding it doesn't make more things up as it is. You originally claimed that when doing something complex it hallucinates. When there is a lack of available data on a topic it's going to continue to make things up. There is only so far you can push "what is statistically the more likely word?" before it breaks down due to lack of available resources.
