Pycord, on the other hand, is an actively maintained fork of Discord.py. It was created to continue development and incorporate new features and updates from Discord's API.

I really love this new functionality where you can alternate between Turbo and Omni GPT-4, it’s like having two advisors, two different perspectives which brings extra details to the same question. Reminds of working with GPT and Claude side by side, it works really well like this imo.

It’s definitely faster, whether it’s smarter or not is kind of a toss up. It seems smarter in some way and worse in other. From my little probably biased sample size I think 4o is better at solving practical problems step by step, meanwhile 4 turbo is better at explaining and connecting theory and concepts.

You can use the new little button under the response to regenerate the response using either Turbo or Omni, I’m using both at the same time like this and it works great.

Mainly because they complement each other and there’s more variance in their style compared to just regenerating the responses of a single model.

no the issue here is that, the new tokenizer list used in GPT4o includes a bunch of garbled words
the Chinese language does not function the way most language do,
almost of all the words consist of one or two characters, since each Chinese character has meaning onto itself
even the longest Chinese words are agglutinated with multiple one or two character words
the new list just has a bunch of very long Chinese "words" that are complete garbles or actual sentences
which means the list is not curated at all.

This is what I think and surely one of the reasons why created custom GPTs use only GPT 4.
I don’t know how many time they will need to allow us to test 4o in real conditions. For now, without GPT instructions, the 4.o seems fast... too fast... so fast that you wonder if the errors come from this . But fast is not quality, and here this is exactly that (atrocious results with it, but this is not relevant as you cannot use it in a custom GPT).
But, maybe with a set of instructions it could work... but for now, 4.o is a gift to free users. Plus users outside of Europe have got Memory (that looks great)... but outside that, clearly 4.o brings nothing to a chatGPT plus user.

this is what I do. Obviously 4.o can be a a revolution due to the effectiveness of the treatment of the queries and also cause it is really fast. But for now, I agree that they are just testing its potential. And for now, this is free users that benefit of this new feature.
When you test a custom GPT against GPT 4.o, this is day and night. You get wonderful results with custom GPT (that uses GPT 4), and you won’t get what you asked with GPT 4.o... at least that’s my experience but... as I said this is not really relevant as I could not test it in the custom GPT environment.
(using chatGPT currently to get illustrations for Magic TG fun cards - so using Dall-E in my tests)
