Yes, I've triggered content warnings many times. Here's the rules that you need to follow to protect your account:

There's stuff you could do that can cost you your access, but if you're not doing that stuff, you're pretty darn safe.

Content warnings can come because you ask the AI to use intellectual property that doesn't belong to OpenAI - they appear to be working on teaching the AI not to do that stuff.

There's a lot of other ways to trigger content warnings. But by themselves, they're just a 'that happened', not a 'time to panic'. As long as you stay within allowed content, your account is probably very safe.

I don't recommend trying to find the warnings, but I wouldn't stress over them either. Just know the rules, and follow them, and you're probably safe. I seem to be 🙂

In general, if it's totally made up, there's no IP content. But they are just releasing Dall-E-3 now, and still working out bugs and making sure stuff works, and there may be 'extra stuff getting flagged' for their reasons, so they can track stuff - cause us millions of users probably can, between us, think of stuff their dev team didn't even consider.

I say, know content policy, stay in it and do anything you want that's allowed.

You may see flags, I do sometimes. Make sure you know and follow the rules and just have fun doing what you want inside the rules 🙂

Far as that goes, the allowed content is on you.

As I read it... if you ask the AI to do something that's disallowed content - you could lose your access to the AI regardless of if the AI does it or not, regardless of if you get an orange (or other colored) content warning or not.

You are responsible for your inputs, no matter what the AI outputs.

So if you make sure the AI refuses, or if you make sure the AI cooperates, but you go into disallowed content - the company might tell you to change what you're doing, or just end your access. They state:

"We want everyone to use our tools safely and responsibly. That’s why we’ve created usage policies that apply to all users of OpenAI’s models, tools, and services. By following them, you’ll ensure that our technology is used for good.

I don't understand Korean, so I can't tell if it actually was speaking it, but that seems plausible - the written conversation was fine.

I have a question that initially came to light while I was working on a personal web dev project. In the course of this project, I found a useful trick to rewrite prompts at specific points in the chat history, effectively creating new branches in my dialogue tree. Over the course of a few days, I've created several branches from these rewritten prompts.

For example, I might ask ChatGPT to show me the folder structure for a specific project context, and it gives me a hierarchical list of folders. Nice! Then I can go deeper, asking "What's the code in this x.ext file?" ChatGPT shows me the code and we can discuss it for about 6-7 prompts before the context starts to wane. The awesome part is, I can return to the original folder structure prompt to start a new "branch" and discuss another file, all while maintaining the correct context.

Now, I've noticed there's a small visual indicator next to each of my prompts that tells me which branch I'm currently exploring and how many branches have originated from that specific prompt. While this is somewhat helpful, as my dialogue expands, it starts resembling a binary tree and it's getting challenging to navigate.

So, my overarching question is: Are there any Chrome extensions or future features in the pipeline that can help manage or visualize this branching prompt structure more effectively?

guys i need suggestions. I been having some issues with inconsistency... I ask chatgpt (plus gpt4) to balance some chemical equations and it ranges from few mistakes to miserably failing to complete the task. Ok. Bings GPT is...still terrible. Half the time it refuses to create anything and says lets move on to a new topic (Just try simple pictures with harmless text). And when it does, the text is off most of the time. And that with simple 3 words. It also seem to still "hallucinate" a lot.

-I try to summarize a text with API(chat gpt 3.5 turbo) and in this way the result is text less rich than GPT via web. Same prompt. I think there is a problem right now with the API side beacuse yesterday works fine with the same code
