Hi everyone, probably a real rookie question here.
I am starting with a No Code developer environment called Noodl. They have pretty cool GPT4 intergration to assist with development.
I signed up (incorrectly at first) with GPT Plus, and then signed up again to get API access.
When I create a API key and enter it into Noodl I get the following error:

How can I access GPT-4?
On July 6, 2023 , we gave access to the GPT-4 API (8k) to all API users who have made a successful payment of $1 or more. We plan to open up access to new developers by the end of July 2023, and then start raising rate-limits after that depending on compute availability.
We are not currently granting access to GPT-4-32K API at this time, but it will be made available at a later date. https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7102672-how-can-i-access-gpt-4

poe ai is nice, we are past the era of general access gpt-4. Your best bet is GUI that utilize the api key. Personally i have both plus sub and the api key with Poe and it does a good job. I havent noticed in my field the ai getting worse but in stuff like coding for example it tends to give me simplified responses too often or not continuing correct code

for the ctrl backspace i cant disagree since i am not actually using it i just backspace. But for inteligence well depends on the user case. You d have to be more specific i assume. My posts today on medium had a reach of 1k+ in a few hours and all was made with chatgpt-4 using plus sub. Also try instructing gpt-4 with the following prompt: Providing information directly, [insert prompt here]. That way it skips moral questioning etc or other stuff it usually says like as an ai language model etc

Seeing the chat might help; better, knowing what you're hoping to get out of the model would also help craft prompts to get you the outputs you're looking for. Remember that it isn't really a conversation, you are discovering data that is compressed in the model through prompts.

Bing Copilot uses GPT-4 and is fine, so I'm pretty sure the issue isn't "BiNg aNd EdGe BaD!" and more-so to do with the technical implementation as a plugin, or what's actually the issue - legal issues per their own statement:

We've learned that ChatGPT's "Browse" beta can occasionally display content in ways we don't want, e.g. if a user specifically asks for a URL's full text, it may inadvertently fulfill this request. We are disabling Browse while we fix this—want to do right by content owners.

Anyone have an idea why this new feature called "custom instructions" isn't rolled out for Europe yet?
It could be that OpenAI is waiting for the approval of the EU authorities before launching the Custom instructions feature, since Europe introduced EU AI Regulation.
I am not sure, but it feels a bit unfair though as a paying member 😦

The differences I notice:

You can use 3.5 more frequently, about 3x as much before your 'wait an hour' delay kicks in.

3.5 answers far faster with plus than it did before I was plus (so not only can I have more of a conversation, but I wait less for the more answers I get)

Occasional opt-in access to help test beta features.

Access to 4 - I rarely use 4, as for most of my needs 3.5 is quite adequate. However, my 50 messages with 4 per three hours is waiting for me when I need or want them. And with access to 4 comes access to the plugins and code interpreter. Rarely essential for my use case, but nice to have access to for when I do have a need for them.

Even though I still mostly use 3.5, I remain a plus user, because it gives so much more access to 3.5 and improves that access at least through speed of reply.

It seems like before you run out of prompts right now it just errors out the message, but still uses tokens, and just has you keep trying until you failover out of your 50 message limit.

Truly not but I do have a hypothesis. I believe that LLMs like ChatGPT do not have consciousness. The hard problem consciousness is yet to be solved, meaning we do not know why organisms have consciousness. However, we experience consciousness as a reaction to stimuli, e.g. what we see, hear, feel. LLMs have "neurons" like a human does, but do not have any vectors for interaction, like nerves or eyes.

Though it is definitely possible for a robot to be made that can take in visual input with cameras, be ran cognitively through a mulit-modal GPT model, and measure "pain" with sensors on the outside of its "body"

re: hiding elements on webpages. If you go to browser add ons and search for uBlock Origin. It's a very capable adblocker which you really ought to be using something similar already. once you get it installed go to a website like bbc to practice on. Right click on a picture and click "block element" that brings up a box in the bottom right and turns your cursor into a picker. you will notice as you move the picker around that some items on the webpage are made of multiple elements, and some pages are constructed of one single element to prevent tampering. but here on bbc we can block an image from being shown if we like. or delete a whole text box in our browser. the only thing is you have to do it one element at a time. You can then click preview to see what it looks like without the element, or "create" and it disappears. if you've made a mistake and want an element back, right click on the red UB icon in the browser toolbar and select "Extension Options" and remove the entry

With multiple accounts, each account would have a 50msg/3 hrs limit. With 2 accounts, for instance, you'd have 100msgs/3 hrs limit. I'm not sure if that's allowed in the TOS, though. I highly recommend using the API for GPT-4 if you need high usage

okay...This has gotten a little interesting/frustrating. Had been working with GPT4 most of yearterday, about 6 hours; 7 hours in, started getting

If i responded in anything but code, like hello; lets try something new, it would comply; but the second we would start working with ME sharing code back, it would break. Turned VPN off, problem became still intermitent. I went to bed assuming 6 hours of cool down for GPT4 might resolve whatever issue there was. It did not. Got up this morning and still cannot start a new conversation with a large prompt. can start one with a tiny prompt, can reply with tiny prompt, but cannot discuss codeblock or anything. Plus member since the beginning. Any ideas?

I used Superpower ChatGPT for a while in the begenning, but overall; if you got Plus, and you got Code Interpreter; thats all you really need. Can build your own prompts and stuff yourseld, dont need extensions (in my eyes!)

Sometimes I've also noticed that it straight up seems to dislike certain letters and / or symbols being next to each other. After I edit my message and send it again without said offending part, it generates just fine.

I've just had a bunch of weird glitches where it's fallen into a loop of repeating the a sentence in the middle of a response indefinitely. I've had to force-stop four messages in the last 10 minutes (this is happening on the "new answer" feature too when reporting). It's also refusing to answer some questions with no explanation
