I found that chatgpt's share chat link seems to only be sent out to see, not to be able to call flexibly in your own gpt page. For example, I wrote the prompt and rules in a chat and generated good results generating the share link. When I want to create a new chat and use this link, it doesn't execute exactly according to the rules in the link. Is it a problem with my prompt wording? Or does it only work this way? I need to select every even row from row 1 to 600 in excel, how can i do that

In Excel, you can select every even row using the following steps:

Open your Excel file where you want to select even rows.

Press F5 on your keyboard. A "Go To" dialog box will open.

Click the "Special..." button in the bottom left of the dialog box. This opens the "Go To Special" dialog box.

Select "Rows" and then click "OK".

Type the following formula into the formula bar (where you normally see cell references like A1, B2, etc.):

=MOD(ROW(),2)=0

and press Ctrl + Enter

This will select every even row from 1 to 1048576 (which is the maximum number of rows in Excel as of my knowledge cut-off in 2021).

If you only want to select rows 1 to 600, you can limit the selection manually afterwards. The selection will start from the active cell and extend downwards. So you can set the active cell to A1 before applying the formula to limit the selection to the desired range.

Please note: This method selects every even row. It doesn't actually delete or filter out the unselected rows. To delete the selected rows, you would right-click one of the selected rows, choose "Delete", and confirm the action. This will delete all selected rows. If you want to filter out the unselected rows instead, you should use Excel's filtering features.```

I can't speak to how it's actually programmed to work, but generally speaking that's it yeah. I find I have better luck if I specify that I'd like it to "check online" in the prompt, but I've also had it take that initiative on its own too. If you select that model, it knows it has the browsing tool at its disposal and will offer to use it or use it on its own when necessary, similar to what you described.

Sometimes, I have a conversation that isn't even long enough to reach the token limit for its memory. In fact, if I ask what the first word of the initial message was, it responds correctly. However, when I ask a question that depends on our previous interactions for the answer, it simply skips information, grabs random details, and ignores several messages stored in its memory. This happens frequently, in addition to other instances where GPT-3.5 answers a question correctly that GPT-4 got wrong.

Is there any way to apply directly for access to the 32k token context window version of GPT-4?

I have two clients I’ve built pipelines for and currently have to break inputs into chunks before feeding into the standard GPT-4 8k API endpoint. Context gets lost, and piecing outputs back together into a coherent whole does not work particularly well. I would gladly pay a premium to get access to the 32k version.

I have access to pretty much everything else that’s in alpha or beta; but this is the one endpoint I need for work, and I am more than happy to jump through hoops to get it!

What I have done is cut and paste the last 2500 word or so into a document and feed it to the beginning of GPT4 chat including, "Read this. Don't generate anything. Reply with 'DONE' when finished." That's usually enough to refresh it's memory of the ongoing conversation. If I really feel it needs more prompting, I create a summary of the earlier part of the conversation and feed this I first with the prompt "The story so far. Read this. Don't generate anything. Reply with 'DONE' when finished. " Since Chat GPT doesn't have that much of memory (versus API instances) summary prompts are good way to restart story-telling.

Bing GPT4 is terrible. It seems to lie about what resources it has access to, such as saying it can search jstor. Sometimes it'll just tell you its right without looking up anything, and when you ask it how it knows, it says that it just knows. Is this a failing of GPT4 or microsoft?

I really need to know what happens when you cancel a GPTPlus account, as I was going to include GPT Prompts in my training.

I'm told that all the GPT 4 chats will be inaccessible afterwards, that really doesn't work if that's the case.

It's also not cool as all those chats were paid for.

Please confirm that the GPT4 chats are still accessible and that the model just changes to 3.5 to continue on that chat, like when you run out of messages on 4.

Anyone who's cancelled have experience of this? Or customer support?
