For me the main issue is it's reluctance to provide code or leaving multiple holes that need piecing together. It's acting very similar to BING when you ask it to produce a complete code block.

It was always tricky to get extended code blocks out of it, but it always got there in the end. Now it's like getting blood out of a stone and that 25 message limit gets hit very quickly.

But numeric counting tasks of any kind are weak at this point, it's why code interpreter is so powerful, when it's allowed to build it's own tools to solve requests it is significantly more able to give high quality results

Its hard to lay this situation out in a good way. The only way i can justify the decrease in capabilities is that they had to rapidly scale up chatgpt, so they had to use lighter models or whatever.
