The web search plug-in is quite bugged for coding, lots of times when GPT 4 goes on web it messes up the code because it literally copy pastes stack overflow answers into your own code which most of the times have different variables and come from a different code structure. Anyone want to do a prompt engineering battle? Similar to photoshop battles back in the day. Someone tells us something ChatGPT should do, we in real time create a prompt. See who gets better output. And then learn from each other in real time based on how each response approach the problem. And improve the prompt. We can do it on twitch or zoom and let other people watch and shout out ideas.

Why hasn't Microsoft integrated GPT4 with Word yet? Can you imagine? That would be so much more useful than the website, having the AI able to review and contribute to an entire document. Have it available to Microsoft 360 users. Add it as a feature which increases monthly cost. Do it. Do! It!

No if it says regenerate response it's cutout. Now if you're using plugins that use OAuth, this will happen every single time you use them, as OAuth is causing issues. If a plugin has been working for a long time, as in sending multiple requests, then it will eventually cutout as they can't go on forever.

I think they should scale their servers, there are like 100 million people using gpt every day, imagine if they have a higher tier with more benefits like 32k context limit but it would also increase the load and the cost of computation so they should scale and put limits so everyone can use it or remove the free tier but I don't think they will because they are using the data to train the model and if there are no people how will they train it : V, when they think their model is mature enough they will remove the free tier I guess, that's what I think so take it with a grain of salt everything I said.skeletonconfused

Still, so long as the infrastructure can support it at the listed prices, I say if people want access to it, give it to them.

My only concern is the infrastructure not being able to support the demand, and their solution being price inflation rather then artificial constraint of demand. I prefer the route they took, artificial constraint of demand is more democratized then price inflation which would limit usage only to wealthy people relatively quickly.

I think its just random times some people get lucky randomly and it goes over.... its probably 25 per 3 hours during peak usage but if the servers are freed up the let it go

ChatGPT's outputs are fairly predictable once you learn how it communicates. If they are truly copy/pasting, you can learn to recognize its style. And just put a class-wide (or school-wide) rule that this will be disallowed and if caught, could lose credit.

At one time using a calculator in school would be considered cheating, but at some point it became more of a thing where okay maybe we just stop focusing on teaching the things the calculator can provide, and instead use it as a tool so people can focus on more advanced concepts.

Hi all! I'm a digital artist from Philadelphia who went to college for digital animation and then got into photography. I go by The Cyborg Photographer, as I use a robotic arm attached to my power chair to do photography. I'm really excited about the potential of AI for accessibility, not only for people with disabilities but for everyone as a whole.

I've been using ChatGPT-4 and GPT-4 API to code Python scripts in an attempt to improve eye-tracking to control the computer mouse. I've had a lot of success so far, even though I know next to nothing about coding. But the process has slowed dramatically as the script grows longer and reaches the maximum token limit on ChatGPT-4.

I have yet to find any good [working] tools designed to use the GPT-4 API to assist non-coders. I'm hoping I can find someone here who can advise me on some better tools to accomplish what I'm trying to do, or to request features from OpenAI that will enable me and others in my similar situation to use the Playground to write code more efficiently.

Like Davinci edit mode but with GPT-4 chat mode combined, so you can enter the code in one section, the summary of details of what you're trying to do in another section, and finally a chat with the questions and requested changes in another section, then a way to refresh the history/tokens without losing the code and summary.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
