Then don't use it as the only tool to learn, use it as a primary tool to inform consumption of other data/articles/images/etc

One of my favorite ways to learn super complex items is to ask GPT to describe a concept to me as if I was a 5 year old. Then 10. then 12, 15, 21 etc. Layer, Layer, Layer.

If I understand the 15 year old concept really well, I might claim to be an IT tech with 1 year of experience. Ramp up/down to your comfort level.

Eventually I usually arrive at something like "Describe <concept> to me as though I'm a digital architect with 20 years experience" and then maybe ask it to switch roles a bunch of times (marketing, leadership, communications, support, adoption, blah blah) so I expand the knowledge laterally to the areas I can provide the most value.

Customize to you, obviously.

Sometimes GPT4 does give bad data though. YOU have to understand. Truly learn a concept, to catch bad data.

Here's an example where I was learning how Azure Devops does squash commits differently than github

I was fairly impressed with the response from GPT4. I had to catch the bad data, but I really didn't have to offer much redirection for it to catch it's mistake.

You guys should’ve seen GPT a couple of years ago it was pretty much like a glorified text auto-complete. You couldn’t ask it a question or instruct it to do anything, if you asked it something, it would probably just add more words to the question or put it into a dialogue and start telling a story where that questions in it.

One of the benefits of subscription is that it does not limit the use of 3.5. The effect of 3.5 seems to be better than the free version, but I am not very clear about it.
You can always chat with 3.5. For 4.0, you can chat with some more restricted content in the 3.5 conversation. Use some prompt words. You can search for some prompt words similar to developer mode.

I've been learning programming to 3.5 for the modding of project diva. For other knowledge, you can always ask for advice. As long as you are not tired, you can keep studying.
I only use 4.0 for role-playing, and I feel that its programming knowledge is not as good as 3.5, and the response is too slow, and there are usage restrictions.

The code interpreter uses python it pretty much runs the python script in the chat for you as it generates it, if any errors come up, it reads the error, Figures out how to fix it, and then runs it again til it works.

Someone actually sent me a list of libraries that it can access a couple weeks ago I have no idea where they got this list, or how good of a list it is, or with any of that means, but it seems decent. It’s more for just playing around really I feel like for something advance you’re better off just copy and pasting GPT 4 outputs into whatever programming environment you’re using instead of using this limited sandbox, but as someone who doesn’t really know how to do anything, it’s like a magic universal app to me.

well, it a bit of everything. GPT4 is far better at understanding complex questions, bard is good but GPT4 has better logical 'thinking'. GPT4 is also a lot more creative, so for example when you want to write a book with ai help, bard tends to give you very basic ideas

and also Bard is limited to a few languages, whereas GPT4 is 100+ languages, as well as its better in a lot more coding langauges too

Although I'm not affiliated with OpenAI, I can say that the team is working super hard in order to make the service more accessible and a lot faster. Unlike Microsoft or Google, OpenAI is a comparatively small company, so they only have so much ability to rapidly scale their systems. In fact, I have talked to some developers who work at OpenAI, and from what I understand, they have an "on-call" team that works to ensure that the service is constantly operational— so they do listen to user feedback. In the meantime, try checking https://status.openai.com for updates about service integrity.
