If you were to pay for the api subscription, then you do indeed get some more features to play around with i.e images and plugins, but if you’re looking to use chat gpt for non-development purposes, then in my opinion paying for the chat gpt plus subscription is effectively more cheaper.
As I’m on the plus subscription, I can definitely tell you that currently you don’t have access to images and plugins, though you can join the waitlist for plugins and get priority access due to being a plus member
