Yeah I think it's actually pretty well balanced on most things, on certain things though it's surprising how confidently wrong it could be and all the details in its incorrectness since it's just generating things and doesn't understand if it's right or wrong it can sound so confident and really it's taken me for quite a ride before I've realized that it doesn't know what it's talking about but that hasn't been situations with code except for the occasional error here and there

Hallucination is a great way to put it I've not heard that term used before, but yes sometimes I can tell when it's saying things like "there have been several sources for this" or "this is a common thing seen" that it might not know what it's talking about but sometimes it's really tricky like I was having it explain aspects of each song on a particular soundtrack and it was doing a great job and then one of them was just randomly as wrong as could be but sounded so confident

I started at the same time with market making and the fundamentals of setting up a trading system are quite easy but it's the order logic that can get really complex depending upon your strategy. GPT4 accelerated my development substantially but it's been lackluster this week but like I said it's allowed my to focus on strategy rather than just code.

I then realize that my prompt was bad and had an error in it, but GPT-4 didn't, and blamed itself for failing to execute an impossible task. It has a strong bias to assume it failed, rather than the user. Which isn't really all that useful, especially when you're trying to make a good prompt.

I tried to see if GPT-3.5 would see the error, but he just went "nope, nothing there", so he's useless for that lol

Hi guys, when trying to generate any text in another language than English (in Czech to be precise), the ChatGPT-4 stops after very little words (229 words). I experience this sometimes with MUCH longer text in English but while generating texts in Czech this is pretty annoying and not usable. Do you know how to overcome this?
