Well, something insane (to me) just happened. I was doing something a bit tedious – going through and following artists on Spotify because they changed how the artist tab worked like five years ago. Anyway... I was trying to think of a way to get an AI to do it. I spent around 30 minutes thinking and searching. Finally, I just asked ChatGPT-4, "I was thinking of the use case of being able to look at my Spotify liked songs and follow any artist I have more than five liked songs of." Then, GPT ignored my dumb ideas and just came up with how to do it with code. I think it's so cool that I can solve an annoying task on other apps like Spotify that quickly (assuming the code it gave me would work). The next step is being able to just tell it to go do the task.

It has been less interesting content on the whole though. 3.5 would go off the rails more often, but often provided more of an X-factor as far as style and twists.

I'd have to give it a huge expensive prompt to test that, I don't feel like doing that ;p the slider only goes to 2k output

but that doesn't matter - if you need the full context just use the API

there are about 20 bazillion github repos now that let you talk to the API directly... lol

or you could ask gpt-4 to write one for you

Hello everyone, im looking to build a bot in discord with gpt4 on my server. Does anyone have any interest in keeping up to date with this, or any advice on how to begin this endeavor on discord?

1. I have a decent understanding of discords front end infrastructure, but am still working on the (connections and optimization) for using discord as my main platform.
2. I have an ok understanding of building bots and how to do it, but the community is wild (not a bad thing)
3. I have build bots for discord that run locally on the DaVinci model, but have not done much in discord with other endpoints like images or whisper

• Is it as simple as sending a .jpg as a response back to discord? I know you can use the @ function too, but im building many other features on top of it that would need some adjustments to move towards that (at least ithink it would)
• Does anyone have any suggestions for how to connect discord to other main social media like twitter, twitch and tiktok or stuff like that so that when streaming in discord it auto launches to those (i know how to connect so it shows if im streaming, but not so that it launches)

4. Is it plausible to do the following:

• Use discords STT and TTS to have dialoge with the bots in discord without them being in the voice channel and needing something to preprocess voice like whisper before being passed from discord to the bot?
