i started during first eva and its legit ridiculously hard to even get remotely close to others. The lack of mats is crazy

People are broke on skill books and she is kinda niche buffer so people mostly see her paper dps now which is quite reliable.
If you look for something to use in story mode, she is decent but not amazingly good like other meta nikkes we have so far.
Spending 4 rocks on her is fine, fixing or optimizing her is not recommended since u dont get alot value back (she is only ran with AsukaW as buffer and in that pair she contribute 32% vs 68% of asukaw).
Even if u want to full clear kraken, building sbs+asukaw pair is cheaper and more rewarding for other mode.

Asuka will likely be a mainstay even in neutral damage, like SBS or Cinderella

#

Rei is the more optional choice, being meta only for wind-weak & pvp, with pvp having countless other meta B3 options.

Rei might also be a decent choice for neutral-damage soloraids if Asuka teams want a slot-5 DPS (like Mod or Drunk Scarlet are often used) but won't be gamechanging for the role
