Spine doesn't support upgrading projects from older versions to newer ones. While newer versions can export to older formats, some data may be lost in the process.

yea, we can do it manually, but it can't be used in A1teri's file finder site. So while I, as well as some other people, wont have issues, most of the people here likes to use it with the site since that is easier for them and most of the tutorial shows them to do it that way.

also, that's prolly because of transparency. during import, choose PMA for nikke characters

Nikke models use PMA, Brown Dust 2 models uses nPMA iirc and some other games uses STA
but if we Kosirei adds that part in nikke-db, well there's no need to use or add another software in the list of modding tools ๐

I've looked a bit at the new spine documentation and holy shit they seem to have rewritten the player from scratch for 4.2. like it'd actually take me a week or two to recode for 4.2 while keeping 4.1 and 4.0 alive. hopefully the old way still works

I used my glorious STA to PMA converter to fix the png and in alpha it works with the shadow so uhh
any reason you wouldn't use PMA png ?
I believe the shadow should be there..since in-game shows a shaow, well actually pretty dark shadow

Nice, working good. I turned PMA to STA, dropped the output image in the custom spine loader image field with PMA true and it load the model fine
however here's the problem
when turned on the animation, the new image parts that get visible looks kinda weird, like they got pasted on the face

I have a question about Android and iOS mods. Are the skin files in a location that cannot be accessed without rooting or jailbreaking, and also is it possible that the game detects rooting or jailbreaking and bans it, which means that mods cannot be used?

No everything is on the client side, one who has good knowledge of reverse engineering can easily crack and bypass the needs of internet connection

My Nikke loading screen stuck at 43 after installing mods.
delete everything in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\com_proximabeta\NIKKE\com.unity.addressables
restart game without using nmm and let it fully load
exit game
start nmm, select game path, apply mods
start game again
if stuck at 43%, also manually delete UnityCrashHandler in nikke.exe folder

for managing various mods? well there are no folder stuctures for Nikke Mod Manager. infact all mods are just put in the "mods" folder directly, without any subfolder
after putting all the mods in the "mods" folder, open NMM, there are checkboxes beside every mods, so you can use those checkboxes to choose which mods you want to see and apply
it spits out a bunch of errors window and I just click okay
until it finishes
