I clarified on my post that my repacker doesn't work for multiple variants at the same time 
someone in another server modified the repacker to work with variants already but not sure if they will share it somewhere

The screenshots only showed my testing - trying to get the repack to work with variants (an older repack script at that, not the one you just made). It doesnt work
oh alright, well there are ways to make it works with variants but I had enough malding with chatgpt prompts for now

if i had made it work, i actually would have shared. Im not a fan of withholding tools from a community
especially when its not a tool i myself 100% made
try using claude, i find its a lot better, unless you have gpt4
I used chatgpt free for the whole repacker

helped me understand a lot of what was going on with the code when my brain is fried
my attempt relied on the files being unpacked and repacked in the same order, so my thoughts were to store the names of the original mods and then when repacking reapply those names.
but i've little experience with repacking nikke mods so naturally i've made mistakes and didnt solve them

I don't use variants after all, just 1 mod per character in my nmm folder

honestly i reckon just removing the rename step, and reusing the code that you have to check for the character id when searching for the original bundles should fix the issue - havent checked it yet cause im busy with rogue trader
previously part of my scripts were checking the bundles internal data to find matches, the result was the repacker eating my 8GB of RAM and crashing at the end
I changed that for just hashed name matching based on the parsed json files generated with my Parse scripts that works with Bingle json
or that is what I told chatgpt to do for me

yeah for sure. What im thinking is:
store the sliced name in memory
grab the original name from the json
check if it already exists in original bundles directory
if yes then skip
if no then move it across
possibly store the code:original name in memory too so that when repacking you can iterate over that list and match them
however the amount of times i thought "hey this should be an easy thing to do!" and then it not be an easy thing to do is rather high
I played with prompts for 4hs+ to make my current repacker to work properly now

So pulling on standard using gems is just a waste

The thing is when you pull on rate up banner you got gold mileage which can exchange for any ssr in the future . Meanwhile pulling on standard only give you silver mileage which can only use for a limited number of nikke in the shop pool
the main reason I wanted to be past the 160 wall is that i'm a psycho who actually really cares about story and the campaign lol, I wanted to make more story progress

damnit! i spent so long today trying to get it to work and you've beaten me to it again
it repacks but garbles the inputted files making a monstrosity when loading the mod in game
At the end to make all of my scripts separately was the best choice, I had to modify all of them to handle variants

how did you do it? I essentially mapped the original bundle name to the name of the modded asset and reworked the script to handle that. Its just, the result was not what i hoped for. There's an error somewhere in my code that fucks with the repack process - the .png gets repacked in the wrong positions so for example anis might end uip with nipples for toes and a face for a boob
I merged my scripts with chatgpt, and the result was fucked every single time so I just started to modify them separately
i didnt merge them for that reason, it'd be a nightmare to untangle
Now my scrips create subfolders to storage assets for each variant, pick 1 file in Original Assets at a time, look for matches against the assets from all of the subfolders created in Extracted Assets
and if the repacker finds duplicated asset it will create repacked variants based on how many variated assets were found for the same original bundle
I tested it with Miagi winter Rupee variants (like 7 variants lol)
and it can handle repacking 100+ mods including variants now
similar logic to what i got claude to spit out to me
i have mine name the asset like "c150_anis_bikini.png" though rather than throwing extracted assets into subfolders
so that the name of the asset can be matched to the name of the variant
I didn't check all of the repacked variants tho, to check 94 mods 1 by 1 is wasting time 
I only checked winter Rupee 6 or 7 variants, Nihilister variants, Helm variants, Doropee variants, and SAnis variants
All of them repacked correctly
i just spotted a dang error, ".skeleton" instead of ".skel"
i told claude its a .skel ๐

the script in my repacker with the task to repack was created by Bingle and He knows stuff about programming so He did most of the job for the repacker to repack the files correctly for NIKKE

I modified it a bit to handle variants now lol
im using yer damn 4__cringe.py as a basis
evidently instead of using a surgeons scaple i used a fuckin baseball bat to tear it a part
his repacker was chatgptโd lol
all you had to know was unitypyโฆ
gpt was pretty cooperative with me yesterday
took only like 1-2 prompts for everytjing i needed
it was my own skill issue that was the reason for the bugs in my script
oh and yeah, chatgpt told me unitypy and python will not work for the skin swaps with string method... and that I should try stuff with Unity and C# or something

string swaps have 01 or 02 as file names, I told it to rename all to 00 before swap and it worked, though it kills skin to skin repacks
normal skins can be automated with a modified version of my repacker
but skins like Marciana, Mast and EVA collab need modifications done manually since Python can't modify the needed parts
since I had marciana's skel edited already repack worked fine but ur right
if you really want you can just add specific parameters for each string data
for each character
and either update it everytime theres a new skin like that or pray that no more get released
to modify string first is not so time consuming and there are not too much skins like that yet anyways
so it's fine
oh yeah wouldnt you have to hex edit the skel first anyways
on the new one
or import the old one in

for this game patch I tested just exporting raw/importing raw as my videoguide for repack and it works

ran into a couple issues repacking a couple miagi mods, they don't appear in the Repacked folder when going thru the process. Granted I think they are older mods but dunno if I missed something or if its a deeper issue
Download the update I added recently, now my repacker creates a text file telling you what mods had the errors and need to be repacked manually
So far the errors are for mods too old or corrupted, but most of them can still to be repacked with the manual way
what if nothing shows up in the Repacked folder at all? Don't have a text file there
the text file is created in REPACK, the main folder
ERRORS.txt
it should be there, I tested some old mods that don't work along with the working ones with my repacker and the text file was working fine to tell me which ones needed to be repacked manually
Most of them need to be repacked with UABEA because it seems like UnityPy can't do it

just ran it again. No ERRORS.txt file
the scripts run with no issue, i dont get any error messages or anything that would stop the process

if the .bat file fails you can try with the .py files one by one

my repacker gets the raw files from aeb folder already, so you just need to have your mods from your NMM folder ready and Bingle json

if you drag and drop a folder onto NAU, the decrypted files replace the encrypted ones in the same folder
or it makes a new bundle if you didnt drop a folder on it
I just drop the folder to avoid the "_dec.bundle"

i tried the modified files & the steps listed, but my extracted assets folders are all empty, so nothing goes into the repacked folder
everything is decrypted i checked using uabea
if you get a txt file "ERRORS.txt" then that means those bundles can't be repacked with my repacker and they will need to be repacked manually 1 at the time
i didnt get any errors.txt file & the cmd prompt said that every script was ran successfully
are u sure the files are decrypted properly? so far that was the only reason for my scripts not being able to generate the txt file containing the bundles names of the problematic mods
i believe so because UABEA is giving me the option to decompress or file to memory
in the case of Blackcat old mods I forgot to test them but the txt should be generated for most of old mods

i just tried it using a single mod & the extracted assets folder that was output is empty
my renamed bundles for match files have no .bundle extension
it seems like the way Sei mods are compressed is not compatible with my repacker then
