Hey, i am facing a issue on the frame generation side.

I have a RTX 4050 and when i turn on 2x frame gen. (fps is set to 60 from game) the fps is not going to 120fps and when i set the game to 120fps its stuck at 120fps not 240fps.

i can see that the gpu spikes by 30% usage when turning on frame gen but i see even lower performance than just turning it off

My gpu driver is at 591.86 as all the driver that came after is very unstable

SOmetimes the game would just not connect to the server, sometimes i would get warning for "illegal software" and the game will shut down automatically. Sometimes it will just simply crash. And sometimes it will just freeze on black loading screens forever. I did not check the log because I was just done with it. (New to linux gaming btw so i dont know basic issues and procedures)

For the logs, I believe the game itself has some logging enabled. I think you can find them by going into the launcher options and there should be a button to show the logs. Otherwise, if it's a graphics related crash you should be able to see something by running journalctl -f in a terminal while the game is running or journalctl -e to take a look at the end of the logs after a crash and see if something is there.

Only for the last chapters. Basically whenever there's a cutscene where the characters talk to each other and you have to make dialogue choices, or whenever there's a cutscene, at the end when it goes back to "live" gameplay and you have to play (movement/combat, etc), that's when it crashes

I found the fix. It was due to RTSS enable. I wanna share it here if anyone find useful.

I was able to get my dlss options back on vulkan after uninstalling rtss.

There was a youtube vid i watch that worked for me. Since i doubt i am allowed to share a link these are the steps:

On the game's launcher, click the horizontal lines next to the "Play" button -> game settings-> open file directory.

Go into the "Endfield_Data" folder

Right-click and ediit the "boot.config" file in a text editor such as notepad.

Remove the whole line that is like "remoteBoot=http...game-config......". For me it was the second to last line.

Save file and then right-click file again -> properties and click the read only box at the bottom. Hit apply then ok.

Play game.

Do you already have a gryphline account on the mail you want to link?

Change the email address to one you rarely use (or if you've got a Gmail address, you can replace @gmail.com with @googlemail.com)
Delete the account

On your PS5, from inside the game settings
Go to account center
Bind your email
Then you can ask for a password reset link on your PC from the User Portal

The email change is needed to bypass the 2-week deletion period

after that, you'll be able to play with the same data on both
you can even bind your google/apple account to play on mobile as well from that same page

The launcher on PC brought up a blank window that I couldn,t exit or minimize. I could only close it from the task bar. I was able to fix it by deleting the files in %appdata% and downloading a new installer from the website. Had to redownload files, which the launcher did just fine, and the launcher seems to be working fine now.
