The reason we don't give ETA's for updates is because when we in the past have had to push back those dates, our office got multiple death threats, and there was nothing but complaining for days.

It's simply not true that we do the "bare minimum to keep you here" - the team works extremely hard, and while there are certainly many bugs and problems, I think it's quite unfair to conclude that we "don't care". Most of us wouldn't work here if we didn't care - I certainly could make more money working in the rest of the tech industry than if I worked here.

A lot of people have this assumption that every update produces new bugs - there are certainly some updates that release with new bugs, but there is also just such a significant amount of bugs in the game already so that when we finally fix something, you probably encounter something new.

There is a dedicated QA team validating each release, they sign off on functionality - that being said, when the new patches releases to the thousands of players out there, you guys are bound to find something our internal QA team didn't.

It's certainly true that PSVR2 players are not our main focus, proportionally it's a fairly small portion of the player base. Choosing to focus on PSVR2 specific issues means spending less time fixing all of the other problems the game has. Nothing is ever free in terms of time investment unfortunately.

I certainly wish we spend some more time fixing up some of the old PSVR2 issues, but priorities are different at the moment 🤷

Ultimately, conversations like this is hilariously asymptomatic - you're just talking to an audience of a couple of people, whereas officials (CWS, mods, etc) speak to the audience of not just the Discord, but anywhere you decide to take the screenshots of whatever conversations. So while we can certainly try to accomodate a conversation with individuals, it's stupendously easy to take things out of context, or overblow a certain response.

I'll give it a go I guess? My experience is that the community is mostly fairly wholesome, but I also don't engage terribly much outside of trying to offer helpful responses to random questions that catch my eye.

Most games in this genre (Tarkov-like games) have reputation for being toxic. I guess it's part of the nature of the game (you shoot other players, take their stuff and leave). Some people don't necessarily deal well with that.

If you have a look at the Reddit community, the brief time I've spent looking at looks if anything more toxic.

I guess a contributing factor is also that the player base is largely Quest 2 centric, and a lot of players are probably on the younger side.
