It's recommended to use that stock with a grip that attaches the controller to your hand because you will just press the controller against the grip and hold the grip and Controller at the same time, the grip button will be pressed because you press it against the cup

And the istock has Q2 support
Basically every stock that doesn't use the tracking rings up top to attach should be compatible with both Q2 and q3

I'm enjoying it very much but my biggest complaint has been the factory head strap because I prefer to keep my headset on snug like a scuba mask. I 3D printed some adapters to fit my Q2 headstrap and it's a huge improvement! Tracking isn't as good as the Q2 but still fine, aiming guns like the SKS in GoT is now easy because of the front facing cameras tracking your hands more properly for gun play

I also adapted my Q2 knuckle straps to my Q3 controllers
I now have a DIY "pro" setup at the cost of $1 for materials to print my adapters since I already had the head and knuckle straps

The AR is super fun, I love how I can leave my playspace and use passthrough freely through my house, in colour, and with much more clarity (albeit not perfect clarity). I only noticed slight tracking issues when playing Blade and sorcery when I was treating NPCs like a speedbag to test the tracking. I noticed slight rubber banding in the tracking, I believe it was due to the controller face ir trackers being blocked by my hands and the Q3 needed to rely more on its hand and AI prediction tracking to compensate. Nevertheless I still enjoy it, my observation is more of a knit pick but it didn't really impact my gameplay at all

Yes! It has noticably better resolution and FOV reading texts in-game is a lot better and easier to do now. I do like the IPD dial to get the exact distance proper to your eyes instead of a "close enough one" like the Q2. The face cover has 4 positions it can be extended out from dependin on your face and if you wear glasses, I have mine as close as possible to my face to take full advantace of the FOV upgrade without needing to peel my eyes off the lenses

Really depends on what you're looking for! The Q2 was my first ever headset which I've had for like 2 years now so I was ready for an upgrade and this feels good to me in terms of what I've upgraded from. Also I already have the Meta software on my computer and I use their airlink feature with the d-link airbridge. I luckily didn't need to buy new cables or wireless adapters to play my Q3 on pcvr, it just connects like my Q2 did but now it's better!
