footsteps would've been loud for him because you were directly above him, and if you have more than half a brain you're able to remember "oh those footsteps i just heard walked over to this general area" . you can literally hear some walking noises you made in your own video that he'd be able to hear. it's less obvious for you because he's below you, and so are your own footsteps, but even with one small footstep, that immediately gives away your position to him because footsteps ABOVE you only means one thing

your weapon makes one or two small noises, which i doubt are the reason but another way of saying you weren't undetectable

Definitely, one of the problem I have with the sidewinder stock is that if I’m using different guns with different grips I can’t really adjust the left hand to match the actual gun, where as I stock let’s you move a bit more freely. Lmk how’s the sidewinder tho.
