I would recommend trying to collect a lot of guns for the future as if you do die you'll have a wide range of arsenal to help with your next raid. If you can find high powered guns like AKs and M4s then definitely keep them. The CX8 storm is a solid smg for a starter, it has a sight and grip slot so that you can put some attaments on it
